It's absurd to think you can lock in 3000 miles of border. Start arresting the rich people hiring these immigrants illegaly and see how fast they stop coming here.
For ANY country, what could possibly be more important than protecting their borders? Why are we sending money to other countries when that money needs to go to our own states to increase border patrol agents, and associated needs??

I was even deployed on OJS before the cartels got bad
Today when I’m out on my land I’ve gotta stay armed, I can’t let the kids go out unattended, and if it’s not locked up like Fort Knox it’s gonna be broken into or stolen

What do we do with people who come in who have NO intent on integrating into our society? There are those who want to make their own society inside the adoptive country’s society/culture. This is what seems to be going on in many countries like the U.K.

It seems like we so often, when trying to stop illegal activity, put our strategies right out there in media about how we do it. I don’t understand it. Kudos to this gentleman.

I disagree that it should be easy. There are protocols in place (and have been for a very long time) to 'control' access/entrance into the country. Not just waltz in and say 'I am being persecuted', per the script of the NGOs.

We should either take some responsibility for our actions, or have taken preventative precautions to avoid repercussions beforehand.
Just looked it up and found that we have been at 435 electors for over 100 years even though the population has tripled during that time.
I think you could have redistricting and or gerrymandering with a population increase, but not more electors.

Another great podcast! This was packed full of really informative information. I do have a question on one fact that was presented…that 2020 saw the biggest decrease in illegal crossings. I don’t dispute the fact, but I would imagine that little thing called COVID had a bigger influence on the decease than anything else. I’m all for securing our borders by any means necessary as long as it doesn’t turn into a money pit of greed and corruption.

Yooo I was hoping for a cartel or border video from you with Luis Chaperro but this works lol. This was really well done and always love it when you drop the random unexpected videos. I wholeheartedly agree with this man, we need to have a balance between allowing immigration but also vetting people who only want to come here to cause harm or stop the ones who want to profit off of other people who simply want a better life for themselves or their family. Unfortunately I have little to no faith in the government actually doing anything about it considering it boils down to what he said about it being a political game of tit-for-tat rather than actually accomplishing anything. Hopefully we get a candidate who genuinely cares to help people rather make life harder for everyone. RFK seems to be the best bet in my humble opinion but we’ll see what happens I guess. It was an interesting interview and I learned a few things about the border. I am concerned about the fentanyl coming in. My nephew died from cocaine he didn't know was laced with Fentanyl. But It got too political for me. Instead of naming presidents actions, he could have just said the dates these things happened.

We're importing poverty that drives down my wages, and I don't appreciate that. Also I shit all over third world culture. I'm pretty mean about it actually. I really enjoyed this podcast, and would like to thank this gentleman for his professional insight.
May not be able to do anything to those who are being smuggled. But, I would think we should at least be able to unalive the smugglers with extreme prejudice when they are dealing in human trafficking.

Danny, two questions you should've asked 1) Why doesn't the U.S. go after the human trafficking cartels? 2) Why doesn't the U.S. criminally charge those who pay for human trafficking? Mexico is the biggest benefactor of this crisis. Just imagine every migrant pays between 6k to 12k, and we have seen 7 to 10 million in the last 3 years, do the math......
