Transmission would be leaking. My 2009 Prius is doing that, fresh red atf on the floor and also like scraping noises due to more friction inside of the transmission. Very dangerous if you keep driving your vehicle when this fluid is leaking cause you can damage your transmission due to excesive heat and friction.
@@THEgiantBuG402I didn't use grease to put back in the cv axle seal, just a 46mm socket to hit around the edges. If you want to use grease, use silicone grease or any ptfe grease, avoid lithiu. grease. Also, a little bit of wd40 before installing it make it easier.
I have an issue with the trans oil leaking on my front passenger side after replacing the axle. Now I don’t know how to replace the seal cause apparently the seal is located on the othere side? any help? My car is 2008 lexus is250 awd auto.
What are the signs you have a bad axel seal ?

Do you recommend grease on the axle seal or rtv arounnd the edges of seal. If so what kind of grease? Thanks

Leak oil everywhere when you park the car or the transmission shift when you driving.

Both sides have a seal. Try tracing back the leak and see if it’s leaking from the side you replaced, if so replace that one.
