I tried out this game, I love playinh gimmick builds in my games, like max crafting skill in Ark:SE or other obscure stuff. and here I found 2 nice builds that have a similar enough playstyle, mainly focusing on dodging and positioning rather than perfect parry inside the clustered enemies(wth melee?) the first is only Dex Bow. it picks up absurdly hard at level 10 when you get your class, or if you get a ranged Dex skill pre-10. must farm correctly for the level 5 bow otherwise it's a slog to level 7 with the iron bow from Sally. but once you are with your class the power is absurd. I went with Byrdle for the Crit racial skill though there might be way better options. the second is just full mind mystic. both the bell and scepter have range, bell is AOE while scepter is single target, both allow good mobility with different mechanics. I use Kobold for the instant spells racial skill, but once again maybe I do it wrong.
Health definetily matters, I feel like the damage scaling from attributes is kind of bad i guess? Or weird at very least, i noticed this in hardest way. Was severely struggling the current build's final boss in final dungeon (for now) and gave up since wasn't able to get past it with mystic and all points in magic... Took half of the points off from magic, and put them in health, suddenly it was breeze, as if the damage bonus didn't matter at all.

its player hosted, so you can play on your own instance or join others on a privately hosted one. its an MMO in the sense that the gameplay loop is similar, and you can run dungeons with your friends. think more warframe than warcraft. also it doesn't advertise itself as an MMO, just an Online Role Playing Game. the MMO thing is jus what other people call it

I tried out this game,
I love playinh gimmick builds in my games, like max crafting skill in Ark:SE or other obscure stuff.
and here I found 2 nice builds that have a similar enough playstyle, mainly focusing on dodging and positioning rather than perfect parry inside the clustered enemies(wth melee?)
the first is only Dex Bow. it picks up absurdly hard at level 10 when you get your class, or if you get a ranged Dex skill pre-10. must farm correctly for the level 5 bow otherwise it's a slog to level 7 with the iron bow from Sally. but once you are with your class the power is absurd. I went with Byrdle for the Crit racial skill though there might be way better options.
the second is just full mind mystic. both the bell and scepter have range, bell is AOE while scepter is single target, both allow good mobility with different mechanics. I use Kobold for the instant spells racial skill, but once again maybe I do it wrong.
wait is skret new? i never saw him and never saw anyone else go back there
You can respec. It's an item you buy from Sally.
when you hit level 10 you unlock classes and get ALOT more skills :)
Truly For a furry themed game it is hell cool aside from the Funny body customizations 😅
i love how the game mechanics all works unison in this early satge of developement
quite a fresh air from games with realistic & common mmo tropes
DAMN just as you mentioned Spiral Knights something clicked, it really has that "air" to it (albeit it's clear that the creator is a nsfw furry artist, not saying this as if it is a bad thing, it just IS A THING)
Was. The Artist has stated they're trying to move away from nsfw. But old habits die hard
That boss was something else
The amount of based energy he gives for using a bird instead of a common furry species is colossal.
WHY ARE ANTHRO BIRDS EVEN FURRIES!? THEY SHOULD BE CALLED FEATHERY!
???
Birds are very common among furries.
Because furry refers to the people who like anthropomorphic animal characters not the characters themselves.
I'm definitely making a gooner character
This gives me massive pocket legends vibes
Furry PSO?? Sounds peak to me~ xD
Edit: Oh shit wait, this is more like a furry Dot.Hack~
This game is pretty solid aside from the furry bait, I run a modded server for the game and its pretty lit
My goat is playing peak...
Chest slider, always maxed
I can't with that video title😂
Is it pc only?
Yes
How can it be a mmorpg if it’s offline
There’s a multiplayer mode. And it’s more of an Online Action RPG than an MMO.
I grew up on mmorpgs and seeing someone making an mmorpg inspired singleplayer game makes me smile, just hoping someone will make one that isnt furry bait
/taunt
Offline massively multiplayer online? i dun get it
While it's not literally an MMO if it's offline, he's clearly comparing the gameplay to MMO gameplay with the obvious exception that it's offline.
it is online. you can join servers with other people, he was jus playing in a solo instance
Just don’t type /taunt in the chat menu.
Edit: ah, yes… “fanart.”
darn monosodium glutimate!
I mean, it IS fanart, by technicality.
The furries are pleased uwu
hehe
a
tlyss
Can we please stop calling this an MMORPG? It's not strictly 'Multiplayer' or 'Online'.
Certain things in this game are 'Massive'... but sessions are only 16 players.
If it’s offline, how in the fuck is it massive multiplayer online role playing? Actually paradoxical concept
The game actually advertises itself as an MORPG, that is it did away with the whole "mass" thing. It's basically an MMORPG-flavored singleplayer RPG with online co-op.
its player hosted, so you can play on your own instance or join others on a privately hosted one. its an MMO in the sense that the gameplay loop is similar, and you can run dungeons with your friends. think more warframe than warcraft. also it doesn't advertise itself as an MMO, just an Online Role Playing Game. the MMO thing is jus what other people call it
Jeez you sound like a guy with a huge Ego
It's a Action Online RPG made by one guy in the style of 2000s MMO interface you have the option to Solo/and Co-op in the steam version it's still in early development but so far it's great with friends and kinetic with alot of fat trimmed
this confirms why i thought you were so sus and couldn't put my finger on why. wow.
Wander is the mildest "I just think they're neat" type of furry
"Offline MMORPG" lol thats just an RPG
From personal experience, MMORPG and RPG are quite different. Mostly the balancing, the progression and many other aspects of the design. Skyrim, Gothic, etc - they're all RPGs, but you wouldn't really compare the way they're played with something like WoW or Guild Wars
Ha ha. When you think about it...
@kleyrt1105 someone apparently hasn't played FF12. That is quite the offline mmorpg. Mainly because it was made be the designers of FF11.
Well take the .hack game serie. It's a solo mmorpg 😂
it is online, he was jus playing on a solo world
