- EGO make great gardening tools, however this is NOT one of them. The multi-tool is a good idea, but this attachment is awkward, impractical and a stain on EGO's collection.

Gotta love it when people review things they have no idea how to use for a task they have no idea how to do.
ya and dress like they are going to see a movie or shopping. hahahahahah.
Great video on how not to use a multi-tool hedge trimmer, painful to watch.
All the professionals are facepalming through this whole video.
Why am I having a hard time watching her edging... but not a difficult time watching her?
Thanks for the review! I am going to have to get me one because I have hedges that are 2.5 meters tall and I hate having to get on a ladder to trim the tops square. The pivoting head is the answer 👍
In that case I need to do a follow up review where I add on the extension pole. That's right it comes with an extension pole to double the length 🤙
Move the handle forward. Makes life a lot easier.
Take the extender off too!
I use this tool every day love it so light compared to to a sthl extended hedge trimmer but they both give good cut quality
👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏looks hard work
If possible try to put a 7.5 ah battery on it. I have the pole saw and it seems to run more powerful with the 7.5 as opposed to the 2.5. Also invest in the Darwin Grip for better handling.
Also tweak the angle around and use it for cutting long grass. I mean as in a metre + high long grass. Works great, more coverage than a brushcutter, quicker and easier.
They let those hedges get too big. The branches are now too thick and tall. Also the purpose of the being long is to cut the top off the hedges where you can't reach. Just use a normal length/lighter trimmer for the lower branches.
The balance seems off. Yet the usage was awkward. Generally you’d cut from the bottom of the hedge upward in an arc.
This was painful to watch. Was clear you didn’t know much about hedge trimming nor using the pole trimmer. Plus why the ear muffs?
"theres a bit of a design flaw. its just too long" who uses a pole trimmer for something thats 6 ft off the ground lmao
It's just the hedge trimmer attachment, the pole extension wasn't used.
You need the HTA2000S attachment. Its the same cutting end but the pole is 40cm shorter. There is nothing wrong with that tool you just bought the wrong one.
I agree it worked well, but it is very heavy. It requires upper body strength. Personally, I found cutting upwards from the ground to be easiest.
Is it really loud?
What’s making it hard for you to trim with it is cause your holding it from the handle take the handle out and hold it with the bar trust me it will be way less fatigued I’m a landscaper that’s how we hold all our hedge trimmers don’t get me wrong you still will get tired cause it’s a lot of work.
wow, please make more videos!!
Y’all have to many toys to play no need to go to the GYM 😊
Looks heavy for me to use
Now that was funny! Was supposed to be funny hey?
When your to weak for a tool
Ok ...you two are killing me. Your holding it wrong. So you aren't getting any leverage what so ever. Second use a strap that attaches in two places on the hedger. One just in front of the battery. The other end about half way down or a little past half way. The balances out the weight. Third Invest in the back pack link. That takes the weight of the battery off the tool and onto your back. It also enables you to use a larger battery and not have your arms suffer from it.
Forth maybe leave the reviews of products you know nothing about to people that do. I mean sure it's fun to get out there and post a video, but the whole idea of a review video is to help educate those who may be needing an item and would like to have some more information on it or become more educated about it. If your not knowledgeable about the item then you can't provide that information which basically then becomes a waste of everyone's time. Not trying to be a hater. Just a bit of friendly advice
