One trick I discovered for myself (and likely other have too) is connecting cables through foundations floors and ceilings. You build a multi level factory and you need to power the upper levels and you just don't want cable running up and down your wall on the outside. You just pick a foundation on the floor and remove it. Draw a painted steel bar in the space where the removed foundation is. Install the double outlet on the steel painted bar. Now put the foundation back on and now you have an outlet sticking above the floor and on the lower level an outlet sticking out on the ceiling as typically expected. if you can line up your cable it all looks nice when connecting multi floor factories.
Ustawienia pomp można uzyskać w dużo prostszy sposób. Wystarczy na podłodze postwaić wspornik rurociągu potem potem z wciśnietym klawiszem ctrl ustawić pompę. Sama wycentruje się do wspornika. Do uzyskania równego ułożenia narożników podłogi używa się stalowej belki w trybie swobodnym. dzięki temu można uzyskać dowolny kąt połaczenia podłóg. Są do tego inne filmy. Sposób zaprezentowany tutaj jest dosyć skomplikowany i pozwoli tylko na precyzyjne połaczenie pod kątem 45°.
Great Video! I discovered your channel a few days ago through your designing tutorials. One thing I'll say is that there's not much focus on interiors and fitting the different machines (constructors, smelters, etc.) Into the interior walls (or floors) even though I've seen you do fantastic work fitting the inside of your factories "into" the machines. Could there be a video dedicated to interior design in the future?
There is a mod called Ultimate Nudge that lets you nudge in ALL directions but you can also do very tiny nudges for a length that you define. Much less work to fix Z fighting.
This is why I pay attention to these build tips. You have some tricks that help me think outside the box. Thank you, Kylo.

Nice. Thx.
Yep, been doing this as long as I can remember, my favorite way of running power lines!

Can 100% work on that here soon! Sounds like a good topic to go over!

Yes there is! I just know there are lots of people who do not play modded, so this is always applicable to everyone who watches!
I use your method for z fighting, but I raise the angled pieces. This keeps my primary base foundations on the world grid.
Yep that works too!
Thanks for this :) just started a new world cause I wanted to start with some nice neat factories from the get go
subscribed! I'm new and I really learned a lot. thanks!
Awesome, thank you!
Wow! Great video, so helpful.😊
If you use pythagorean triples, then your diagonal pillars will not have overlap.
And the non-45 angles look cool.
Smart! gotta try this
Thanks Kylo
Thank. You. 😊
Great Infos. Thank you!
Thanks for the kind words!
What a nuisance.
