I just finished my Super Duper Omega Rocker Fuel Power Plant. With alternate recipes, it's able to take 600 oil and convert it to 2,400 Rocket Fuel, which can power around 240 Overclocked Generators and produce nearly 144,000 MW of power. Then I have the Alien Power Augmenter which gives me an additional 14,400 MW of power. I think my power problems will be solved for awhile.
this game is so damn addicting but when i stop playing for like two weeks i ahve to relearn where i put everything and how much everything is. math is hard. i need a diagram
I keep an scim production calculator tab open for each big factory I build. Still gotta decipher my spaghetti lines to know w where it's all going, but it's a godsend to know the production numbers on each factory. I have brave set to reopen my tabs when I reboot, and they all save. That whole site is amazing
I have to wonder about the world object limit and all the little cosmetic bits and bobs? I find myself just naturally building minimalistic due to a overriding fear of hitting that later
The UObject limit is over 2.1 million, and the devs have made a lot of optimisations in 1.0 to reduce the number of UObjects used. You don't have to worry about it unless you're heavily covering the entire map, and even then it's unlikely you'll hit it.
Also, the cosmetic bits and bobs now cost ZERO UObjects! They changed foundations and other static decoration items to Lightweight actors I think, which don't contribute to the UObject limit.
I'm really looking forward to your official tips and tricks video because just a few you've given so far has helped me a lot with Logistics planning especially for the different heights of the logistics floors, so thank you for sprinkling those nuggets of wisdom into your videos
Couldn't you loop the refineries making plastic and rubber with a smart splitter spitting out overflow? Technially speaking, the first step of resin wouldn't be needed after filling the system.
Thank you do much for the train buffer tip. I fixed it by accident in v.8 but it is so nice to know what the actual problem was. Can't believe I never noticed the output was paused, somehow i missed seeing it every time i checked.
You know they updated snapping so you can snap to a corner now? So you don't need the first two steps of your curve method. U can just put the slightly turned foundation on top, by snapping to corner(hold ctrl), then the walkway piece.
Lolol, I was just doing this exact same thing last night. Same place, same setup. Just taking some time getting everything together. Love seeing that I'm going in the same direction as the experts!
I'm running an oil setup down there too. But I only have like 20 refineries making plastic and rubber feeding 19 turbofuel powered generators. Feel like the factory in this video would take me forever to build.😭
Bitz: They're lined up Me: Yeah pretty good My perfectionism: No they're not, see how it's still barely sticking out? Fix it Me: I have four oil so I could do this, but man is that overwhelming Bitz: We're only using two of the 4 lines and this is a small build for me
Want to save some time on compacted coal. Set the output of the assemblers to 20 compacted coal every 15 seconds. Reasoning the quantity and timing for it is devisable by the belt speeds to the number of product. Just a tip.
@@krudeoil Yes it is but if I remember correctly before the marathon started he said that there will be a couple days that he can’t stream because of things that were planned before the stream.

You said never ever ever ever utilize both ports from the train freight platform.. you literally only need to worry if you are using all the materials from 100% full belts of your current max tier.
After watching other YTers build modular blueprint type factories and just focus on balancing a single block of production, then just stamping down as many blocks as you need, going back to this kind of linear setup feels so time inefficient. But damn do that fuel hallway look cool tho...
I don't understand why you used heavy TF the other TF coupled with diluted fuel is so much more efficient. Nice build and you have given me some ideas. Thanks
Last time I played satisfactory was 2 yrs ago. Load balancers were the go to at the time or at least that’s what I remember using the most. Now manifolds are? Did they change something or? Idk if it’s server related reasons or not maybe but I just thought manifolds didn’t work properly for a while.
Short answer, math and expandability. It's easy to get a 4 or 6 or 12 way split, but it takes progressively more and more space and complicated builds to split more ways. Also, manifolds can be built so that you can just add onto the end of it when you get better miners or start overclocking. They have a longer startup, but the final efficiency is the same, so the community is leaning toward simplicity now.
You were mistaken in your original presumption that manifolds didn't work. There was a fad on UA-cam for a while to do load balanced because it's more complex and space inefficient and therefore more difficult. Another popular fad in a similar vein was the 5x5 challenge, to build your entire factory for the whole game in a single massive tower five by five foundations in width and depth. (Power generation was allowed in its own, separate 5x5 tower.)
Regarding the train usage. In my save, my factory is outputting 1560 rubber (two Mk5 belts), and is filling that into a single freight station. Would that not be a use case to take two belts out from the buffer storage?
İ have a queation for people who build like bitz: what is the fun of building flying islands in a massive hand crafted world that you can blend your builds in ? Ofcourse this eliminates one challenge but also takes away the soul and immersion.
For me, the floating platforms are just a first step. Depending on where I'm building, I'll integrate the factory into the terrain after I'm sure I have enough room for everything, and the factory is up and running. Generally once the final switch goes on, I start designing the shell of the factory while the manifold does its thing. I don't really decorate anything until I at least get blueprints, it makes creating wall sections and roads SO much easier.
They don't STAY as flying islands for most of us, as far as I know. The point is to get every working and then you build the decorative bits around it. Function before but not neccessarily at the expense of Form.
Stepping Stones, my dude, Stepping stones.. I like to build everything, then scale when needed, this also creates good videos, which people like to see me do, like here is what you can do in Tier 5 and 6, but then here is what you can do in Tier 7 and 8.. Then MEGA THINGS!!

You can clearly see that he has a jetpack. It's also common for UA-camrs to enable the flight AGS in order to take footage but then revert to a previous save to maintain integrity.
The question is "Why Not?" but in all seriousness its a small bump, before the BIG BOOM fuel plant.. Like I said in the video, in season 1 and 2, i was usually consuming 12 crude oil lines to make a Diluted Packaged power plant, with this I'm only using 2 for power and later, is when we go insane, as I'm know for. Also, this is a good stepping stone for the big build later, as we can do a before and after for the content
