I'm a Gm,Chevrolet and Corvette fan and it's really cool to see the Corvette win against cars like Ferrari, Porsche, BMW, Lotus Evora, the Vipers and the Aston-Martin. I have driven iRacing some. It's a fantastic sim. The Corvette is one of the oldest cars they produced and it's the GT1 version, which I've never driven. It's tough to give a good opinion.
The time i posted was done by a Ford GT, which is in the same class. You are right about the safety points. Still the track and lines seems very close to real.
Not quite, The Corvette in Iracing is an older GT1 class car, so it has more down force, more horsepower, and its faster, compared to the GT2 Class car in Tommy's video. Lets not discount the fact you crash in Iracing you lose some safety points, you crash for real... well.

The car has paddle shift - we go up and down the gears with paddles on the back of the wheel.
