All this hate about how she typed her hair. Imagine she called this video 4C, like many YT do for the clicks. She definitely defined her hair type correctly not only that she gave you hair porosity, density and strand width. I am so glad I found another YT who has my hair almost to the T. It’s some of y’all that don’t know how to type your hair.

Bought some hair clips/barrettes from a hair store I used to frequent but it had jagged edges/teeth on the metal part that could pull and damage the hair. I told the owners but they act as if they couldn’t speak English. Prior to this incident they spoke very perfect English. Ladies be careful when you buy these barrettes.

Yeeessss! To it being a miracle to knock out in 4 hours. My wash days used to start on Saturday and go into Sunday but that was the early 2000s when we only had Aveda products 😂. Either way, I haven’t been able to grow it back since.because I can’t with the maintenance. So I’ll live vicariously through you hair twin and keep my fourth of an inch. Just dyed it golden blonde from purple and I’m amazed at how different one can look with a hair color change 😊
girl yes!!! Omg Aveda was the go to!!! Maintenance is definitely key to avoid breakage and I'm still trying to stay consistent which is hard lol

Uhmm yes ma'am ❕ this so pretty I went natrual and I didn't really know my hair type I thought I had 4a hair but when I wet my hair i had tried to define it I had lose curls and some were like 3c to like different sections of my hair had different types of curls (3c/4a) but until my hair get Longer I won't dye my hair but you made me want to lol

Can’t believe you were able to shampoo your hair, deep condition THEN detangle. I tried that once and it was a nightmare, my hair was SO tangled. I have a similar hair type to you, which is long and kinda like how you explained and it tangles so badly to the point where I hate wash day 😩
That’s why I did a pre poo first lol bc it would’ve been a problem with all of that product

it also depends on what you consume, and how you retain length. be sure to drink a lot of water, and deep condition 1-3 a week depending on your hair type. as of retaining length, when detangling, start from the bottom and work your way up.
Girl mine took forever...wearing wigs of various styles gets your mind off of the wait
Jessica Matthews I don’t anything helps your hair grow faster and most people say it’s “genetics” but idk. I’ve never seen a white person with hair that couldn’t grow so I don’t think genetics plays a part in it as much as people say it does.

Well it depends on what color your starting hair color is, etc. My hair is a dark sandy brown so it picks up color really well vs someone who has black or really dark brown hair would

It's close to a 33 or 350 depending on the freshness of the color
You are not 3c/4a. You are more 4a/4b. You hair is definitely not fine, you had to put a lot of product in your hair to slick it back so your hair is more thicker and denser. But anyway beautiful hair and color.
Fine and coarse refers to the individual strand width, not how much hair one has. You can have coarse hair strands but hair that is not dense, and many fine strands that are very dense.
