A truly legendary guitarist. Much loved still and always will be. He was buried in my town, not far from me and I often go to the church graveyard to see his grave and spend some quiet time there. Miss you Gary and your music. Loved beyond the stars is on inscribed on your headstone and it’s so true. 🙏🏻💔
You are so lucky to be there, and to be able to visit his grave for quiet time. Yes, he's loved beyond the stars. I know I'll never be able to make it there, saddens me, but I always have his music in memory.
It didn't help that his face was scarred from a fight way back. I think 1970 in a bar defending a girl. Someone smashed a beer bottle and used what was left of it to cut up his face. Correct me if I am wrong. I love the man, love his amazing talent. Yes, he left us too soon but left his mark in the world. How many of us can say that? ❤❤❤❤
I loved the presenter and the Pat on the back plus the handshake you could see The mutual respect. Gary came across well in this interview. He lived in Brighton and was laid to rest in Rottingdean.
Gary once said he'd play jazz, or jazz-rock, if he could make a living at it. Think he was half-joking, half-serious, because he was exceptional in that field. The Back on the Street album was only a minor success, even with Parisienne Walkways included, but it's one of the best albums I've heard. Don't Believe a Word as a slow blues is as deep as they come.🌏
So sad that Gary Moore died to early, and what I have read was after he proposed to his girlfriend to get married the day after....Gary Moore will still live in our hearts...RIP Gary....I can´tsay no moore ;-(
@@classicartfoundation639 im from belfast my grandfather's uncle (my great great uncle) who was Gary's dad got him his first ever lawyer when he was 13 in court, Jenkins surname his dad was from belfast
So basically the guy's assuming cause of Moore's look he's obviously caned the drug's? Before Gary corrected him I was like no mate I think he steered clear of all that. This interview had me laughing out loud for all the wrong reasons, Gary's comebacks were great "I've never stopped" lol 😁 I don't think the interviewer meant it maliciously but blimey, what a cheek!

Gary looked really tough, but he was a proper gentleman. No one ever played guitar better than this guy.

I think this is one of the rare moments Gary likes the interviewer.
Don't know why but the way the interviewer transitions from Swedish to English at times just gets me... Very good interview!
Saw Gary for The Wild Frontiers Tour, Wolfgangs SF. Won tix, even. I'll never for get that gig,

Tank you Gary Moore rip
The way he says "people" at 3:50 is the only time I've heard him with his Irish accent, that one singular word
He moved to London at a very early age that's why.
I've always thought his accent was a bit strange but now I can hear the Northern Irish in it

Jenkins surname his dad was from belfast
I think his accent is pretty clear on live announcements, especially from the 80s.
Legend!

R. i. P
irreplaceable regards talent
Good onya mate !
Herregud, visste inte han gjorde en sån svensk-intervju, hade svimmat direkt om jag träffade honom :(
He didn't mean any disrespect . Come on guys
Eerily prophetic when he talks about alcohol...
You didn't just sat Gary Moore on the friggin floor, sir. Not aproppriate for a legend
Bruce Baker Moore. And then there were none.
Poor Gary having to go in there doing playback... What a shame
The Peter Green Guitar is now in the Ownership of Kirk Hammett- what a waste!
Be nice now 😳
Incredible loss to music
