Jag älskar den här konserten, kommer ihåg när jag spelade in den från radio och nästan lyssnade sönder kassettbandet. Grabbarna är verkligen på lekhumör och det händer grejer hela tiden! Det gick mycket jazz/fusion-konserter på radio och tv på den tiden, har du mer sånt som du kan lägga ut?

I loved the presenter and the Pat on the back plus the handshake you could see The mutual respect. Gary came across well in this interview. He lived in Brighton and was laid to rest in Rottingdean.

I was lucky enough to see this guy twice in the 80's during his heavy years...shapes of things/corridors of power and he is without question a GOAT. Not only his playing but instruments and tone is second to none. I have his entire catalog and possibly every song he ever made, albums including blues for Greeny/Jimi, Ballads & Blues 1982-1994, Blues and Beyond (limited edition box set), Blues from a Gun, G-Force, Grinding Stone, Scars, Strange New Flesh and this song is one of my faves. He does have that ability to transfer his emotion to 6 strings from a place deep within his soul and what a wonderful place that was. Taken too soon, Rock In Peace Mr. Moore.

Gary once said he'd play jazz, or jazz-rock, if he could make a living at it. Think he was half-joking, half-serious, because he was exceptional in that field. The Back on the Street album was only a minor success, even with Parisienne Walkways included, but it's one of the best albums I've heard. Don't Believe a Word as a slow blues is as deep as they come.🌏

I was at this concert at Fasching this particular evening. Swedish Radio recorded it for a live show they had called "P3 Live" The recording aired on swedish radio later on was less than 1hr of a concert lasting approx. 4hrs with intermission.

A truly legendary guitarist. Much loved still and always will be. He was buried in my town, not far from me and I often go to the church graveyard to see his grave and spend some quiet time there. Miss you Gary and your music. Loved beyond the stars is on inscribed on your headstone and it’s so true. 🙏🏻💔

Don't know why but the way the interviewer transitions from Swedish to English at times just gets me... Very good interview!
