Slivers have been around for many years in the MTG lore and cards. With a background learning about Slivers as well as a great and synergy filled Commander, Sliver Queen, you'll have great fun playing this Sliver Tribal deck as part of your Commander arsenal. As your commander, Sliver Queen will bring an army of Slivers to your opponents on the battlefield along with a combo that can fire off regularly, you're guaranteed to enjoy some tribal action with Slivers at the helm. One of the strongest tribal creatures, Slivers are unique and great to play in the MTG EDH format.

Great job man. Been wanting to build slivers again, been several years. Used Sliver Overlord last time, but wanted to mix it up and go the combo Sliver Queen route this time. Thanks for the ideas!

Made an EDH deck with Morophon as the commander, and Jegantha as the companion. After watching your video I can't wait to play it! Sliver looks to be a deck you eventually get your key pieces and you can tech out quite a lot
Absolutely. Slivers are incredibly powerful because they feed off each other so well. It actually rather ridiculous!
Hey just putting this out there but I recommended to Original Magic Art to make a playmat for the Queen herself! If you’d like to see a official ultra pro playmat of her please help spread the word!
I play a sliver deck with Sliver Queen,, First Sliver, etc. -- to include Morophon. The trick in commander is to convince the otherr players that you are not that much of threat and hope they don't gang up on you on turn 4 😛
When you have the main infinite mana combo going you also have infinite hasty slivers.. so everything else is kinda alternate paths to victory.

@@MTGFriends I first though this is the best sliver, because you might cascade through your deck real fast if things align, but i realize you only get random stuff and a bunch of random slivers out of 30-50 are hardly gonna be the ones i need in a specific situation. I'd play it as a fun deck, just lean back and watch the show unfold. But will be interesting to see how you build around it, i like your deck tech and narrative.

@@MTGFriends Ah well, maybe "fun deck" isn't the right term. I just think that the cascade mechanic is too random for a tribal deck where every card has a specific role, but it still can be fun to play it that way. Maybe "jank deck" would be a better choice.

Thanks for Morophon, this dude is bananas and went straight into my overlord deck. It gets all the sliver benefits so can be protected easily.
If you have the Overlord, Urza's Incubator, Mana Echos and then Training Grounds or some open mana after you drop Morophon, you can proceed to cast every sliver in your library.
I found only 3 slivers that have more then one of a color as their cost, these will need some extra mana.
Edit: and it get's better, instead of Urza's Incubator we might use Fist of Suns and have every sliver be guaranteed free to cast. It might appear like a random drop for players that don't expect Morophon to drop next, so might catch them off guard hard.
Morophon is a spicy surprise for your opponent. They usually aren't expecting it.

I made it to the end. Been wanting to get into commander and have a bunch of old cards and figures slivers could be fun.
Slivers are definitely fun. Be prepared to be attacked immediately by the group though. Most people know how quickly slivers can get out of control.

I’m currently building a sliver deck. Tonight, I randomly decided to open a couple of the Chronicles packs I had stashed away. I pulled Ashmods Alter! I didn’t have one yet. So cool.

i was looking into rebuilding my first sliver deck but i would rather build a version where i combo and swarm. Think i might use this instead. On top of this, this build is fairly up there in terms of being higher power which is around my power level so i approve of this.
Very Good indeed. The Sliver Queen can really catch your opponent off guard since they aren't expecting such fast power out of the gate. Most play The First sliver as the commander because of Cascade. Then you hit 'em with Sliver Queen shenanigans. 🤪
I have Overloard as my commander and brood sliver, sliversmith, and maskwood nexus to create tokens with my queen. Also with Maskwood and Overlord you could tutor any creature in a deck. Ameoboid Changling cobos well with Overlord too, letting you gain control of any creature for 3 mana. Also Shadow Sliver costs less mana than Shifting Sliver.
Overlord is so solid. I like the idea of that as your commander. Cool combos. I think slivers are one of the strongest tribals, that and elves. Love me some goblins though 🤗
what about taking Anointed Procession in the deck for the sliver queen ?
Wouldn't overlord be a better commander because of the ability to Tutor out the other slivers like queen and hivelord?
You could certainly make your Commander Overlord if so desired. 👍 It would change the feel of the build and you'd end up modifying a bit.
You know there’s a sliver that grants infect 😅 I remember in a video you when you talked about how powerful infect can be. Imagine if someone an made infect sliver deck.😂😂😂😂
Yeah, infect is so awesome. A guy in my playgroup dropped the infect silver in his Sliver Queen build which was based off of this one and immediately was a target by the rest of the pod he was playing in. It was hilarious. Board wipes commenced.
As I found a Hivelord in a Mystery Booster last year and now a Legion in a Time Spiral, I am forced (maybe from above) to build an EDH Sliver deck now. I managed to get my hands on a copy of Overlord and a Hive, but I am not willing to spend a fortune on an overprized reserved Queen... so is there any way to build a strong (not cedh but maybe 7/10 and above) deck without the Queen, even if the creature-flooding effect is a core for the sliver tribe?
You could build a silver deck around the first sliver which would be super powerful and not require the sliver Queen. This would take a bit of modification since you wouldn't be levering the sliver queens mechanics but instead be levering the Cascade effect for the First Sliver. That could work pretty awesome for Sliver tribal.
@@MTGFriends thx a lot, unfortunately I love the idea to use the Overlord as a Commander, as he can tutor for every Sliver you need... and of course, the First Sliver is also one I didnt have, sure not so expensive as the Queen but he is also quiet near to twenty bucks nowadays...

Nothing new yet. It's a real solid sliver deck as it is now! When slivers get reprints this thing will get revised for sure.

You can definitely add Mana Echoes in your 99 to also create a massive amount of mana. 👍

@@MTGFriends Hey there friend, I just wanted to let you know I whipped up a deck very similar to the one you have in this video.
I have really wanted to give the slivers a try and I have had the Queen forever so I figured why not. I had all the slivers- I just replaced some of the cards I didn't have with others that were a little similar, For example demonic tutor with vampiric tutor , I also didn't have the shock lands you have but I used your manna combination and created a set of lands that comes close to producing what you have. It doesn't run as fast, I'm sure- but it was definitely fun to use. I ended up taking 2 out of the 4 games we played :) I hope you don't mind that I run with this deck list and personalize it a little to my play style, I definitely give you the props you deserve. Thank you!
