Don't wanna enter the contest. I'm just here to praise the slivers. Slivers are good noodles that just want to share their love. They do not deserve the hate they get. They are the bestest noodles.

One of the first rares I pulled was Sliver Hivelord back in M15, immediately fell in love with Slivers, with how they all worked together, something about hive minds just hits that childlike wonder for me. I loved seeing the humanoid slivers getting more sliver-y designs back in Commander Masters.
This deck looks like so much fun. I really love how the slivers buff each other to form synergies. I just recently started to play commander with the Mishra and Urza precons and i am so hooked.
I like that Slivers make you the number one target. I'm a big fan of Archenemy as a game type. Playing slivers just makes you instant Archenemy in a normal game.
Started playing MTG just last year and became an instant fan. Ive been looking for a powerful deck that is multicolored but lack the funds. Slivers are so awesome due to each giving an awesome affect, mechanic or ability to other slivers. The tribal synergy is OP!! So fun. Winning this deck would be a DREAM of mine. I dont expect to win but wth, what do I got to lose. Thanks for the great videos!
I like slivers because they feel like what a community should be, always helping each other grow and learn new things and if worst comes to worst build back from losing everything
Some cool cards to think about my fellow sliver lords. Coat of arms, Conquer's fail, ebon blade, triumph of the hordes and tamyio the blue green one that protects you from sacrifice and discard. Some extra slivers constricting sliver, horned sliver, first slivers chosen, ward sliver and Magma Sliver.
I have always loved slivers, Fell in love with them 4 years ago when i seen sliver legion, I love how all slivers buff each other and just start out as little dudes but become massive quick if just left to swarm the board.
I love the concept of Slivers and have always wanted a Sliver deck. I actually built a Sliver deck for a previous partner. But they fit exactly my play-style, which is a dedicated theme or concept. And the fact it’s a theme that can stack so well with each other is so fun to build
I have a similar deck. I include a Morophon the Boundless. Free legendary slivers is fun, but even more fun is (once you've got The First Sliver out) using Hibernation Sliver to bounce a Legion or Gravemother to your hand for 2 life and recast it for free, triggering cascades through your deck 4 or 5 times, making your board massive, and going from like 5 to 13 slivers for practically free!
So cool. Always wanted to build Slivers, but they can be so expensive. I love how they buff each other and that it's a creature unique to Magic the Gathering.
Slivers are by far my favorite tribe. They all help one another and become a threat pretty fast. They also can recover pretty fast. They are my only deck that I allow blue in, the rest I refuse. Slivers were my third deck I built when I first started playing Magic. After I got into commander, they were my fourth project. My wife will only play against my sliver deck once a year and refuses to play against it anymore then that.
The truth is that I've wanted to try a slivers typal, they have a mechanic that I like and is that they support each other either with counters or giving them skills, plus the art of them is unique in its kind and I love it! Plus, to think that if I get to play with that deck with my friends, giving them nightmares for what they can get to witness would be priceless! xd
One of the very first commander games I played I got stomped by Sliver Queen. This deck looks like it would be very fun to play and would let me enjoy the power that is slivers.
Slivers are just so easy and versatile. Honestly also feel like it's a good beginner deck to get into commander to learn a bunch of things as you play it
Hi , I'm from the Philippines. My friend introduced this card game to me more than 20 years ago. I was in elementary school during that time. He introduced me to several cards but I fell in love with the Silvers and the undead. I don't know why but they're like the Slytherin in the Harry Potter's movie. I don't understand as well but when I was a kid, I like the slytherin over the other groups. Anyway, sliver back then was kinda rare and hard to find. I had a hard time creating and collecting an sliver deck. So I created an undead deck as for my playing deck. Sliver just for my collection and the undead as for my primary playing deck. However, unfortunately someone stole my playing cards hand bag. I put all my cards and some other very important collections in that black like attache case bag because it's water resistant. I rarely cry as a child but because of it, I cried like almost the whole month every time I left alone especially during the night. And I mourn like for the whole school year until school break. I was broken hearted until today. 😢 I was traumatized that I'd never collected anything again because whenever I remember that I might lose it or someone might steal it, it breaks my heart. Seeing your video about slivers out of the blue brought back memories. I'm a bit emotional right now. This time after 20 plus years. I think it is time to overcome this anxiety of mine collecting things. I will try to collect this cards again, this might help me heal my child trauma. I don't know how your video came to my algorithm but I'm very happy that It did show. Thank you for making this video. ❤ .
This story is amazing!!! Slivers aren’t super expensive now, except a few, sliver queen is a reserve list so that’s hard to find and expensive. But you can still make a super fun deck with them for relatively inexpensive!!
@SouthernSorcery Thank you so much for the information. 🥰❤️🍓 Can you recommend a site where I could purchase original cards? And if they could do shipping to the Philippines. Coz it's where I live. Thank you so much.
Slivers for me is about nostalgia. I started playing just before they came out. So there were a lot of slivers on my kitchen table between me & my best friend.
So I originally didn't want to enter this contest because I don't really want to play slivers. But these guys make fun proxies and there are some baller lands and other spells in this deck that would be great to have as proxies.
When I started my journey with MTG somewhere around 2000 we did not have card market or on-line shops with singles and we had literally one LGS in 250k city. So availability and knowledge of cards was extremaly low :) we where buying the singles that were actually available or trade our booster drops. As we did not have wide knowledge of all existing cards we were focusing rather on the cool pictures and high power cards, do our decks were junky. When someone found any synergy between cards it was like discovering something huge, AND HERĘ COMES SLIVERS. We did not have a lot of them but we saw that they work togheter do we tried to mąkę it work, but with only 3 or 4 slivers there was no chance for that. That time I decided that some day I will build a Sliver deck that will be an invincible machine. A deck that will bring the terror to other players similar to the fear from Alien moves, where people were fighting with the hive and new they are forceless against those connected beings as they are always step ahead. Some time later I abbandon MTG for few years and came back to the hobby recently, but this Slivers are still haunting my mind :D maybe this is the time ;)
I personally love slivers because i live the whooe like, hive mind thing, but ik also a sucker for all color decks because then im not restricted to what cards i can use! But i also love that when ut says all slivers it includes your opponents too!
I would love this deck! My mother never played MTG like my brothers and I do, but when she was still alive she once played with a sliver deck and seemed to have fun. (Granted it wasnt anything too crazy 😆) I would use this deck to show my opponents that I mean WAR. In the name of my mother I shall lay waste to my opponents. For the Queen! For the Hive!
Wooooooooow one of my personal favorites deck And the one in which I have invested the most 😅😅 Greetings and thank you for your content, it is very good 👌🏼👌🏼
I love slivers, they're among the finest creatures in all of MTG! I've always wanted a sliver deck, but they can be a bit out of reach for me😅. I'd love to win and play with this deck at my LGS and against my friends. I can't imagine the swag and pride of playing an OG Southern Sorcery Commander Deck!!! That'd be insane 😆🔥🔥
My playgroup already pays attention to what I do, as the blue player, who also plays lots of targeted removal. I might as well go full villain arc and play a Slivers deck
I really want to play Slivers because it’s always been the boogeyman of the game store and nobody around me has the deck build to let me experience playing it at least once so I want to copy your list regardless, might as well have the official proxy of it
Back when I played slivers were my main deck. I had to sell all my magic cards to have money to move after college. Don't regret doing so but if I think now is the best time to bring back the hobby.
I think you missed Homing Sliver. Sliver cycling is discard a sliver and tutor for a sliver, not draw a card. Who doesn't love slivers? They are so much fun!
Yeah I played in places with proxys and not proxys if everyone is just doing it for fun with proxys it' can be really fun. I made my deck weaker by switching over to The 1st Sliver it's really fun still slaps. Love the vid and slivers!
So I actually want to give the sliver deck to a friend of mine. He used to play waaaaay back when they had the Sliver Premium deck. After a few years he sold his cards, but he's been thinking of getting back into it to play with me and my brothers. *Edit* and oh, slivers are awesome cause they are just the definition of a tribal deck. Love them all.
Slivers are great! Thought sadly they are a bit infamous for getting out of hand if you give them an inch. I actually have a friend I am teaching commander atm and we've been primarily playing precons, but he does want to play "high power casual" commander games at our LGS. I've been able to hang with pre-cons with higher power groups, but that's mainly due to experience. It would be nice to have my friend play confidently in higher power casual games with confidence and I think Slivers are simple enough to learn.
I love Slivers bc they work together, one for all & all for one, also bc my 11 year old son is obsessed with Slivers & wants to make a Sliver deck. His "behavior chart" reward is a pack. He only wants Time Spiral Remastered (and only packs w/ Slivers on them)...
Slivers was my first typal deck. I still have the all foil premium sliver deck that came out and converted it to commander. I still love playing it now, all these years later.

Always wanted to play Slivers but some of the cards are way out of my budget. I like the concept that each sliver has their own thing but works together. I would love to slam some slivers in my game group. The reason why we didn't is mostly because of the most salty player, but he's playing a well functioning eldrazi deck and I want to return that power level
