I love this. as a SAHM I have to constantly remind myself how much better it is for my mental health to get dressed each day, even though I can and do often wear pjs all day. it just makes me feel like a human to put on clothes, even in my house. it also encourages me to step outside with my son since I’m already in a bra and pants lol. but we are allowed to wear nice clothes even on mundane days!!
@@morganunraveled absolutely! I’m on the other side of motherhood now, where I’m reconnecting with myself outside of just being a mother and have realised all my fancy things are outdated, or don’t fit and they just never got used! What a waste!

The pocketbook made with beads would look great with any top , jeans and heels or fancy sandals! Cream or white top. Green. Orange. Add beads to black leather sandals to match. So so many possibilities!!!

I grew up in New Paltz NY, and every young woman waltzing down main street with their particular fabulous style was an inspiration - to have one's inner voice decide what to make or wear, without any worry about other people or their eyes or their assessment. You rock that playful dress.

Dang Jenna, that cream colored dress is super cute and well done. First sweater, love the colors, needs the sleeves of 2.0 sweater. 3rd top would be your "failure" which I think is hella cool.

For bags! If you want to crochet a strap but keep it from stretching out to an ungodly length, you can crochet with fishing line to help stabilize it. I've tried this with a couple bags that were also bag lined with cotton fabric and they turned out great! The strap works a bit better if its chained to the length you want it, if not a little extra because of some shrinkage, and then crocheted up for the width you'd like. You can crochet the other way, chaining the width and crocheting the length but the fishing line is a bit more noticeable and a tad bit harder to work with.

Everything is gorgeous and unique! And maybe just a tank top or something underneath that beautiful flower sweater with "holes" in it? You'll make it look great however you wear it!
