A general rule for picking wildflowers is 1 in 20 - for every twenty of a certain wildflower there is in the area you’re walking, it’s acceptable to pick one of them :)
@@margaux5066 I think so! Pretty sure you can use whatever yarn you'd like, as long as you have a needle that works with whatever fabric you're adding the stitch to.
What you did with the strawberries is called appliqué quilting. My favorite way to quilt. If you’re interested in this, might I suggested looking up sunbonnet Sue/Sam. They are so CUTE! Again, another great video, Jenna!! You rock, girl!
You have such a strange sense of style and I can't tell if I like it or hate it. But what I know that I love is that you are always true to yourself and wear what you want no matter what might be popular or not. Never let go of your uniqueness!
You and I have completely different styles and I’m learning to sew, I LOVE watching your creativity. I’m amazed by the flower hammering technique, I am definitely going to try that!
Oh no! I thought I was done with botanical printing on fabric using dead leaves…but fresh flowers? I'm in! I grow a lot of flowers and this is definitely on my to try list. Thanks Jenna!🙏🏻
Jenna you make me so motivated to get back into my own crafty project! I’ve been in a depressed slump but you give me so much joy watching you make stuff! Much love ❤
I really like the two tee shirts. The fabric you picked for the strawberries was so perfect. The smashed flowers were very pretty, I like that you used a dandelion for one of the flowers. There are some very easy variations of the blanket stitch that I think you might like. Check out an embroidery stitch book from the library, especially one meant for crazy quilts. You will be so inspired.
Oh wow!! I would totally pay to hammer flowers into clothing (and get my stress out!) Especially if you come home with such a beautiful top - love it 💕💕
You are amazing! I am an elementary teacher and am thinking of showing this video to my class tomorrow. You are an incredible inspiration to others! :)
i love it jenna!!! so amazing how you always make clothes alive with your very own creative touch:< your happy dance at the end was the cherry on top🥹🤍
Jenna! This is brilliant! you are so creative. I'm inspired now to create my own version of this pieces. Also, the flower you mentioned, it is not an hydrangea, it is a hyacinth 💕
I LOVE EVERYTHING!! your videos are always so soothing yet chaotic and entertaining. had a random idea tho, imagine some embroidered flowers on the strawberry tee too. idk just an idea.
Your recording device is crystal clear. Beautiful colors and details are so sharp. Very pleasing to the eye! Fingernail polish remover for getting the marker out. Crotch opener is technically called zipper flap😂
Even if there isn't a zipper like with these pants? I'm not a native speaker but not even sure I know the technical term of that part of pants in my native language
@@DieAlteistwiederda the piece closest to the body is called a zipper guard if a zipper inserted or a button placket is buttons. The bit on top is not called anything - it’s part of the trouser leg pattern piece, but the folder edge is referred to as zipper / button opening.
Every single piece is so beautiful, cute, unique. I loved them all. I’ve never heard about the technique of hammering flowers onto fabric. It’s just beautiful. Just beautiful. ❤🌸🌱🌺❤
Hey Jenna! Always happy to see what you are up to.....More fun ideas! Gotta make that sweatshirt with the smashed flowers....love it. Your designs are always so happy. Thank you!!
LOVE the outfit! I love that hammering flowers on clothing idea since I'm surrounded by so many different flowers at work and been thinking of what to do with them aside from drying them in between books. How exciting enjoy Hawaii!
You are a creative delight! Never see flowers hammered on a top before although have dyed spun wool with plants! Your strawberries are super too! Aussie Lady!
Yayy, I love your thrift flips so much! You got me into thrifting again after years I stopped doing it and diying things how I like them! Love your work honestly 💖
the best flips you’ve done so far!! everything looks so good!! And I’m gunna have to blanket stitch some summer clothes now, its too cute!! Hope you have a good weekend :)
Got a little worried yesterday when you didn't post, glad to see you today. All I can say is those three projects are Super, Super, cute! You are so creative girl! The flowered shirt is amazing.
hot tip on the bike seat: find one with padding, so it's more like the foam you'd find in a couch instead of some engineered gel stuff. I LOVE my Trek bike seat that's like this and still have it even though the leather on top is cracking. I've tried other bike seats and this one is just so comfy.
You taking the hat and putting it on and an almost identical hat being underneath made my brain do a backflip lol Edit: the flower hammer technique is brilliant

Fabulous! Truly love them❤
Hey Jenna can you give us an update on how the flower hoodie has lasted!!! Like how are the colors a few days/weeks later????
Surely they'll just wash out and leave brown/grey stains...
i mean just wash it inside out on a cold setting and it should be fine
I really wanna know.
I really wanna know too!
I think if it's washed in cold water then use white vinegar as a fabric softener, the colours should hold.
I have never been more influenced than I've been by your use of the blanket stitch. I want it on literally everything now
I love it too! I'm new to this though, do you know what you'd use to do that? Is it just normal wool?
@@margaux5066 I think so! Pretty sure you can use whatever yarn you'd like, as long as you have a needle that works with whatever fabric you're adding the stitch to.

I used to do the blanket stitch thing on my hoodies in high school! That and I'd see buttons onto them. Good memories!
I highly recommend an electric kettle. They heat the water faster, and shut off automatically. I like that because I forget things.
Awesome outfit! Absolutely love it, and looks so cute on you. Great job!👏🫶✌️☺️
It all looks amazing, you are doing great great! Stay smiling Jenna ❤❤
Loved all of these! And I also loved seeing you walk up + back to the thrift store. I pretty much walk everywhere too! Its such good exercise! 😊
