@@sigmacall4148 Yeah, maybe because The Witcher franchise has a very big focus in the narrative and story telling, while Monster Hunter just focuses in the combat system and progression. One is mostly narrative, the other one is more "mechanical". I love both games for different reasons.
I'd imagine, that due to how well he is treated in Monster Hunter, Geralt would probably consider staying in this world, if it wasn't for Roach, Yen and Ciri

damn, seeing geralt fight in a cinematic cutscene is something i didnt know i needed. in witcher 3, the cutscenes didnt had many action scenes, so its really great to see geralt fighting
In all fairness while I do love Geralt's story being over as in, he's laid down his roots finally. A DLC/small game where he's ended up in another universe would be... quite good.

Many friends and foes pondered the question for years, the one with only knowledge of where the witcher had ran off to would be Yennifer, but the young wizard has kept her mouth sealed on the subject. As for me, Geralt would come to visit me time to time, and for once, the man did not have the constant stare of hatred, rather a grin on his face.
Didn't close his eyes when passing through portal, didn't bang all female NPC ever created, didn't duel every character for a round of gwent. 3 strikes, this geralt is fake!
I never take the geralt skin off and even before this I named my hunter geralt so now it’s only fitting haha. It’s funny while doing the raids and what not you see these crazy names on the hunt then you see geralt haha
The scene from 6:26 on is the main reason I capture more often then slay monsters. They may not speak our language and live the way we do, but they are intelligent creatures who understand the world in ways we can't. They also have the ability to show gratitude, empathy, even remorse. I will always move to capture instead of slay where the opportunity presents itself.
it is real, theres even a quest to fight a ancient leshen and the warning it gives you before entering is something to the tune of "this is simular to death march difficulty in the witcher, be prepared" . it was one of the most fun and difficult fights in the game for us.
Considering Geralt is kinda the Eternal Champion just like Elric or Corum of Moorcock but from a different writer it's really cool to see him in Monster Hunter! I mean why not? It can happen! 🙂

Honestly i feel like a pukei pukei would be useful in the witcher series,a small,camoflauged predstor that spites copious amounts of poison that can possibly kill a leshen,they would be quickly domesticated as a form of hunting animal
Even this crossover looks better and more interesting then netflix series, who made a damn disney fairytale, with 99% miscast, without good plot, or understanding what witcher's universe is, or... Ok it has one good thing-Cavill's muscles.
