This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 5 months ago about self development. Now I have 330 subs and almost > 100 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place.

      @@mitchwhite3139 Thanks so much!
I realized that the main reason for doing this is not about the success but the inspiration I've been providing some people with my stories while helping others do the same as I shared the lessons & experiences through making videos to have a sense of meaningful purpose. Therefore, I’m planning to quit nursing to pursue youtube full time as there are lots of issues in our traditional health systems as these don’t align with my values. It’s a huge learning curve but I love helping people through making videos.
Also, as part of my video creation progress, I’m switching to a better editing software and a camera so the learning curve is much higher and slows down the completion speed of my next videos so please hang on tight! I do appreciate your support and kind words! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :)

@@thefeloniousscot3955 I sincerely appreciate such kind words! When I was a kid, all I wanted was to have a career that pays well so I can buy whatever I want but now that I’m grown up and went through tons of setbacks from losing tons of people in my life, getting lost in the world with full of life traps, being ridiculed for pursuing my dreams, and so on, I can say that long-lasting happiness can’t be bought or earned because it comes from within us.
Continue to grow as a person and I’m so glad that you’re part of this journey! I’m hoping to upload my next one this month, which is more than an hr long. I’ve been working hard for many months now to present it in the best way I can while keeping in mind that I can never make it perfect. I hope that you’ll enjoy it! Thanks so much for your support!

I would add the act of “scripting” to this list as well. She sort of referenced it when discussing “over-riding” the negative thoughts/beliefs in your brain. Some from childhood. When I was a single mother, I had two journals-one for gratitude and one for scripting my new life. Two years later…almost 80-90% of what I scripted came to be. Even my 8 year old daughter was amazed🩷. I imagined at that time that “reality” was only my perception and that I deserved more and a better place. It was difficult at times, but it completely changed my life. Love and light to all 🙏🏼May your highest good come to you.

I did a VERY "ostentatious" vision-board; and I was living in very poor circumstances.
But amazingly I manifested a place to live that was completely to my taste & was as amazing as living in a gorgeous art gallery, with a raised large coy pond with a 5 foot Buddha's hand emerging from it.
What I used was the vision board and AHHH meditation (Wayne Dyer).

00:27 *🙏 Cultivating gratitude helps develop an abundant mindset, crucial for attracting desired outcomes in life.*
01:53 *🧠 Gratitude shifts the brain from a stress-induced "lack" mindset (with cortisol) to one of trust and excitement (with oxytocin), enhancing receptivity to positive experiences.*
03:40 *📝 Daily gratitude practice, such as listing things you're thankful for, helps embed positive thinking into your routine and mindset.*
05:17 *💡 Actions aligned with gratitude reinforce manifestation goals, emphasizing the importance of proactive steps towards what you seek.*
06:10 *🌟 Manifestation involves aligning thoughts, beliefs, and actions towards achieving desired life outcomes, integrating cognitive science principles.*
10:18 *🖼️ Creating an action board (vision board) aids in manifesting goals by visualizing desired outcomes and prompting action towards achieving them.*
12:37 *🎯 Specificity in setting goals on the action board enhances focus and primes the brain to notice opportunities related to those goals.*
15:56 *⏳ Manifestation requires patience as neuroplasticity reshapes brain pathways, influencing thoughts and behaviors over months rather than weeks.*
19:24 *🔄 Rewiring negative thought patterns involves identifying underlying beliefs and replacing them with positive affirmations to foster a more constructive mindset.*
22:11 *🌟 Affirmations should feel authentic to be effective; find phrases that resonate with your true self.*
24:14 *🧠 During tough times, control your mindset-it's key to staying positive and resilient amidst challenges.*

Tara talked about when a person gets enough new neural pathways developed, in one particular regard, then a stronger synaptic connection occurs. So good to hear that concept brought out. I’m a person w/ a PhD in brain based learning and what she has said is significant enough that all people need to understand that no matter what you focus on, positive or negative, you are building stronger neural pathways. So, stop those negative thought processes. Do not allow them to strengthen. They will wither and fade away the more you develop positive thoughts!

If you had a PhD, you would know that negative thoughts are not avoidable but also serve to our survival. I will not think about a man coming towards me in the dark with a knife in his hand that he wants to help me cut a cake. Thus, I am concluding negative thoughts are part of our decision making processes, our evaluation but of course, we should be introspective enough to understand the pattern our automatized thinking. But than we would live in an ideal world which we don't. Ops, I am being negative, am I not?

I appreciate what was communicated here. I would like to add that, the late Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) who was the Father of Holistic Medicine had basically advised and explained the same thing, and that what you focus on, you become. With the vision/action boards, other opinions from spiritual gurus advise to refrain from telling people your desires and goals you want to achieve. Reason being, is that some people get jealous and will try to discourage you. Be careful with who you share your dreams with. And when you do your vision/action boards, it's crucial to put a time frame you want to have your goals met. Is it 2, 3, 5,10 etc. years from now? Is it this lifetime? Next lifetime? Be as specific as you can be. With regards to health, Edgar Cayce said too that, "Mind is the builder, physical is the result."👌

One of the challenges of growing up without the privilege of love and support, nutrition, a roof over one's head, and/or money of any sort is that the reality of that situation makes it difficult to imagine any of that for oneself. This is why it's critical to help young people to move past that. At the same time we have to recognise that we created that situation for others through greed, turning our heads to these issues, or only focusing on ourselves and our privileges. Thankfully we're moving past this, but this must be something we all think about every day.

❤💚 LOA is a beautiful approach; I love it that she connects it with neuroscience.
She is a neuroscientest as well.
(She touches on the following point: which is great)
    There is a caveat:
The vessel has to be a healthy one for the meaning of ABUNDANCE to make you happy/ happier.
Many wealthy people end up splitting up their families after having after all their manifestations. They keep chasing new ideas on what's going to bring them more abundance, all the time refusing to deal with and look at what's broken inside.
Compensation for one's ills cannot come by attracting more things in one's life.
So many people attract abundance but it only lasts for a day. The next morning they wake up searching for the next thing.
Be happier healthier more complete inside before you go out searching for things outside.
    💚❤️

Firstly, would love to hear a deep dive with Tara and Doug on gratitude. What happens in the brain? What happens the split second we are able to just see it as it is (aka observe not absorb the event). What happens when we do gratitude in the mind (aka say thankyou thankyou thankyou but nothing in heart). What happens when we do the real gratitude... aka a tear in eye... aka heart expands naturally, aka a wave of tingles go thru our body etc etc... For me personally, my physiology is my truth indicator. I get a wave the instant someone speaks their truth. Not my truth, "their" truth. I love to see how the brain is working to afford this incredible compass we have. Secondly Tara viewpoint on gratitude versus grace and coming from a brain perspective (neurology) versus philosophical. Is grace and gratitude the same thing? Is grace, gratitude, love the same thing? all are not emotions for me, but rather a state of being. What happens in the brain? Thanks heaps for a wonderful contribution doug and tar.

    • @kerrymain2235
      @kerrymain2235 9 місяців тому

article continues: "For those of us who wish to cultivate gratitude in our lives, the path is not to simply recognize what we are already grateful for. The path is to recognize what is being done for us and given to us. Essentially, how we are cared for in this world.". ... How we are CARED for in this world. This statement works for me eg. brings me to the feeling of gratitude. I wonder does it work for others? or is it values based e.g. depends on ones values. Caring for others is high on my value list, so I wonder if that is why it generates the feeling of gratitude instantly for me.

It's not the brain, it's the Heart which actually produces reality (5 thousand times stronger than Brain).
The brain is a decoder of signals and functions more like an antenna (Pineal) and filter (RAS).
One can never go Quantum or Exponential by using the Brain alone.
Our Heart is the Subconscious and Quantum Instrument in our bodies and Love is the Greatest Power in the Universe 💖 (Love Your Heart).
The Truth will always elude one who has no concept of the role of the Heart and Soul and who is purely scientific. That's just the way God has set it up.
The Truth will 'make' you free.

It seems like every time I express gratitude for something it's taken away from me or just goes away. I have a long list of this happening. I'm afraid to express gratitude for anything that can be taken from me anymore, even things that are scheduled to happen, because sometimes they don't right after I've expressed gratitude for them. I only say I'm grateful for, like, the groceries in my refrigerator, what I had for lunch, the good work out I already had at the gym.

saying "thankyou" in our mind is not gratitude. our heart and mind needs to be aligned. when we truelly are grateful, our body responds aka tear in eye, heart expands etc. etc.. If we are saying gratitude and not being.. (being = where we are coming from), then in fact we are doing the opposite. The part of hte uncouscious really is not grateful perhaps, or really does not believe it is something to be thankful for... just doing it as told to do it.. does not cut it. energy does not lie. cannot fake it to you make it. nature is much more intelligent than that.. knows when we are being authentic with ourselves and not. If we cannot get to gratitude. no worries, the stepping stone, is observe it. you can say to yourself "it is what it is", and that will momentarily pause the part of brain that auto-judges...

    Bro,
I’ve been following many folk over the years and particularly like those who ask questions that translate into answers that we can understand and provide actionable points on which to improve our lives.
For the first time I’ve come across you today based on the clickbait image (which I almost didn’t click!) and really appreciate your style of probing.
    Thanks 🌸

The ‘simple practice’ for showing gratitude is called Praying.

    • @yourconnection9303
      @yourconnection9303 Рік тому +1

There are four types of prayer: 1) Confession: Recognizing and admitting your current state of life. 2) Thanksgiving: Expressing appreciation for the blessings in your life - fr. things like your sight, your ability to hear and smell, talk, walk, that you can feed yourself (literally), your friends, family, etc., etc. 3) Petition: Out of the spirit of your highest ideal, asking for what you need, help with reaching your goals. 4) Praise: Communicating the wonder and awe of creation - the sun, moon, stars, trees, the ocean, animals, etc.

    • @Skullswithdronesinside

Explaining neuroscience with the Bible. Why is the Bible the “one true book” even though King James tore it apart and had it totally rewritten to control his people this after it had already been translated hundreds of times (remember the game “telephone” as a kid? Sit in a circle and tell the person next to you something and they pass it on. By the time it reaches the 10th person, it’s something completely different. Translation works the same way. To say the Bible is THE truth, is to dismiss the most common religion in the world and their religious text the Islamic Quran, or the Hindus spiritual text, which is the most ancient of religious text, the Vedas, but because YOU were taught Christianity/the Bible is “truth” you can’t see anything beyond that. Its sad.

I think giving something over to the universe with pure trust is surrendering. I asked the universe to look after something for me, i let it go not thinking anything would happen, and two weeks later i was presented with an opportunity and i mean rare opprtunity and i got it. I believe that i received help from the universe ✨️ i have full trust, that no matter what circumstance you're in, there is always an invisible safety net.

I hope either Tara or Dough will answer this : If an individual already possess great human qualities like resilence, perseverance , self bekief, self regualation et., does that individiual need to intergrate the steps of manistefation in its every day life or since the person already an epitome of human values doesnt need it?

They don't necessarily need to attempt direct manifestations as they already embody a lot of positive qualities. You can of course, from that position of confidence, focus on feelings that are more specific to your desires (if that is what is wanted).
