Set to purchase this bike, 2018 model, here in the states. Delivery is set for next week! I'm downsizing from a 2011 Kawasaki GTR1400 (Concours). As I get older I'm losing the need to go Mach 2 and I hope this bike meets my needs. I'm choosing DCT due to advancing arthritis and I hope it helps! Take care, great review!
I've had it a month, down from an FJR for both reasons also. This is probably the lightest bike that is still torquey and very relaxed at highway speeds and with DCT. The D mode seems luggy at first but once you relax and let it ride that torque curve, it's another world like the goldwing at one third the price.
Im thinking the same...I need a bike to tour the u.s.a. with and I like the fuel mileage..seriously thinking about a concours but the weight scares me...this Honda is a little under powered and Im worried about that...
I have bought one of these and I think it is a revelation. You really do not need a lot of power to have a lot of fun. This bike is smooth and has terrific torque, which is more important than raw brake horsepower.
Hello Sir. Thanks for the excellent review. I am seriously considering this bike but am doubtfull about the size. I’m a big guy, 198cm, 115kg, and was wondering how tall you are and how you eexperienced it. Thanks!
I was thinking about buying this bike, I think that you convinced me to not do that. I was looking for a bike that can be used not just around the city, but on longer trips and highways as well. Thanks for the review.
I am very interested in this bike. I had a Dodge Challenger SRT where I could operate in different modes and was an extremely quick shift Auto. I customized with with quicker shifting but softer suspension
As I don't know what kind of back problem you have, it's not easy to give an answer. You have to try one. By the way: on which bike do you have back-pain?
@@OnroadDotBike well I just sold my CTX700DCT Because of the laid back riding position, but the suspension was not that good as well, I rode a nc700x and the suspension was nice and soft but I read that the 750x is an improvement over the 700x.
Actually, you can take any bike for a world tour, even a Vespa, if you do not feel sorry for it, but only tourers designed for world tours will give you sufficient seat comfort / wind protection for you not to regret the tour just after a week.
Depends on where you will ride the world tour , on paved roads any bike is sufficient. I did 3500km this summer in 12 days on CB500X and it was comfortable enough. So I think 750x will be slightly better.
Szia!
Good job! De ahogy elnézek néhány görög/spanyol ilyesmit, ők megmaradnak az anyanyelvnél, és feliratoznak inkább.
What is really disturbing for me: on the new Gold Wing there is a perfect TC. So they can buy the best system, just as the other manufacturers. I don't understand, why the VFR or even the NC (not to speak about the AT) is not worth for the same!
I had the dual clutch auto nc 750 the uprated one ist time on wet road almost came of 4 times had Agents of SHIELD s06e10 checked only done less than 1000 miles tyres & psi spot on next time on wet on top of flyover behind car moving off no more than 15mph came off smashed panier off cut face (open face helmet) Checked on internet asked best tyres for wet only to find its hondas fault tyres made by Dunlop but Honda's ingredients warned if you want this bike make the dealers change the tyres before paying for the bike I contacted honda stating the above & the next day was told to go to dealers for my choice of tyres free ( thats Honda owning up to their mistake) were your tyres Dunlop?

I agree. Excellent bike!
Thank you for stating the differences in the past models and the current model. Very valuable information.

Very informative and well described. Thank you.
Thank you for doing this video. I am anxiously awaiting the release of the 2018 NC750X in the US. As of today, I can not even order one yet.
UnavailableUserID I am interested in this also and appreciate the video
I dont think you can get the 2018 with Dct anywhere yet. I am pretty sure this one here is the 2017
Хороший мотоцикл! А человек, сделавший обзор - просто бесподобен. Такой безупречный английский, что понял все до последнего слова. (Не сарказм)
Honda nc750x DCT awesome
Awesome HONDA Nc750x DCT 👌
This video was AWESOME.Really well done.Kepp going with videos.
Very good review. I take it it's possible to remove the screen. Or does this leave unattractive fitments? I live in a hot country.
4 screws to remove the screen

I have lower back issues but refuse to stop riding, in your opinion is the 750x a good bike for me?

@@karoslif the back position is much better on the NC then on the CTX.
@@OnroadDotBike thank you, I appreciate your response.
Good review..
How tall are you
Best chill bike
Good review, but I don't see anything about HSTC
Hi, how tall are you ? Bike looks pretty small beside you :-)
diomedea exulans 190 cm, 6'3"
Thank you for information !
nice made
What short to medium tours? Why can't it do long tours, say around the world tour?

Ez a video magyarul nem lesz?

Hát elég lenne egy magyar feliratot dobni...👍
Itt olvashatod és meg is nézheted a 2016-os tesztünket: onroad.hu/2016/06/10/honda-nc750x-2016-dct-teszt/ (A motor minimálisan változott most.)
Traction control??? on an NC 750X REALLY!?
OperationFoxley19441 Here in Denmark it can be very slippery 😎
Ah right! We in the UK don't get the traction control option so I was shocked! It's a great bike though.
Totally unnecessary, more dangerous than safe. :-(
I test rode one the other week, manual UK model, and it had the traction control. I didn't see any need for it, so turned it off!
OperationFoxley19441 hi if you buy one now it’s on there

TC button is a joke by honda. Same as on VFR800F, homemade. Honda is too lazy or too cheap to do it right.
