I totally agree! The NC is not an adventure bike. I visited more than 30 countries with it in all kind of conditions from desert to forest to snow and ice but I never had an adventure with it… it was always so boring to see this beautiful places because I was on a NC…😉🤣. I also met some people who are traveling the world on scooters they are even worse. They saw the whole world on a scooter 🛵 what a waste of time… if only they would have a BMW1250GS for 30.000€ than and only than they would have an adventure :)
oh darn it! I just bought a scooter and took it around my town, and thought I was having an adventure! guess not! I will return it as soon as possible.
Was heading off to bed when I saw this video pop up. (It's a little after 11 pm in Victoria BC Canada.). I wanted to get to bed a little earlier than usual since I am going on a non-adventure early tomorrow morning. We will ride from the bottom to the top of a fjord, into the farming valleys, over to the old growth forests to a large lake, and then veer off into the mountains gaining and then losing hundreds of meters of elevation, eventually making it to the western side of the island looking across the Pacific Ocean. From there we will ride the curvy coastline through incredible twisties to get back to the highway home. It'll take the better part of the day and we will be exhausted when all done. I hope my NC750X is up for this non-adventure! Thanks for the video.
I only ever ride for pleasure and every ride is an adventure. I just love riding my NC and matters not if it a local ride or something further afield, I always seen to come home with a smile on my face. I am fortunate to have a Honda Crosstourer as well but my NC is a keeper. Great vid once more.
I swooped my NC700DCT for a CBF600S and to date every time I see a NC of any kind, I look at what I used to have. You only sell a NC when you go and get another.

At the start of video I was like - "Is this guy for real?", but I kept watching and found out it's sarcasm :) I mean I don't want to have "adventure" bike, I want a Goldwing 2023 - but I can't afford - small purchase (or small loan from my father) of ~36,000 USD to buy one. Those people who are suggesting to buy African Twin, etc... I'm glad that you are rich and can afford it - not jealous at all, but I hate when they rub it in to those who are riding what they can afford. Good video :) Made me smile :)
I was really hoping you would tell my why this IS NOT an adventure bike but man, all you did is convincing me that this IS the definitive ADVENTURE BIKE. Having a comfortable, relatively cheap and practicable ride that takes you alsmost everywhere except for maybe the Mt. Everest or through Sahara is absolutely great. I prefere having "smaller" adventures more often and enjoy riding reather than waiting for the big ones that never come ... If you have 20k for the Africa Twin, great, it's a wonderful bike, will you drive it every day? Probably not... Spending 9k on the NC750x gives you a bike that you can use every day, you will have adventures whenever you feel like, maybe you just take the long way from your office back home or enoy a spontaneous trip to the next lake for a swim?! Whatever you like, whenever you like at no cost and almost no risk because it's a great bike that just drives really good...
Bought my 2023 NC750X DCT as, due to a foot injury I can no longer ride a manual change bike. Wow what a revelation, my 40+ years of biking can continue, let the adventure carry on. Every time I go out on a bike it’s an adventure, you never know what is round the next corner. Having had a 1200GS and a Triumph Tiger 1200, going to the NC was an odd but necessary choice so I could stay on 2 wheels, first ride was 170 miles, 75 miles to the gallon, no chicken strips on front or rear tyres and it was effortless riding😊 I agree it isn’t an out and out adventure bike, but then an adventure is what you make it ride safe everyone 👍
Another great video about the Honda NC 750 X. I bought one at he beginning of July this year and I love it! And I should blame you for buying it. I saw this bike at my motorcycle garage and started looking for tests and reviews. And saw quite a lot of yours and got really enthusiastic. I had a VFR 800 but that wasn't really my thing. Hardly took it out for a ride anymore. But now I spend lots of time riding my bike. It really suits me. And because of your videoos I got inspired to start to go on an adventure again. Go abroad and see beautiful places. You're lucky to live in Australia and have so much space to explore. Was lucky to visit Australia several times and I really love it. Seeing this video can't wait to go there again. But thanks for letting me know the NC isn't an adventure bike. Have to find new roads to ride on which are less adventurous... Have a safe ride...!
I wish I had access to the type terrain that you have in NSW. I live in Dorset, UK, and have very limited off road areas to have “adventures” in, however it doesn’t detract from the NC’s ability to make me smile every time I ride it.
Howdy. I really enjoyed your "review". Great dry humor. I thought you were doing an actual review until you said "an adventure bike needs to have at least 150 horse power" ! And of course they need to be twice or even three times as expensive ! May I ask a serious question of you and the other NC750X owners out there ? I heard one reviewer say as a tall guy he felt a bit cramped on the NC. I'm 187 cm what do you guys think ?
Revisiting this brilliant video and reading the comments, I just had to comment on this. I have owned a R1200GSA, a Moto Guzzi V85TT and are now riding a 2018 NC750X. Of the three I have to say the Guzzi fit me best, just a hair above the NC. The GS was not comfortable for me on longer trips. We are all different, I am 189 cm tall with quite long legs. I can ride all day with no discomfort on the NC with stock everything except for larger windscreen, hand guards and an aftermarket silencer. It is a very good bike with good handling, but fits my relaxed style of riding with low down usable power. Having had more than 20 bikes, I would say it all led to the NC. Reliability, service costs, practicality. Go ride one if you appreciate these things.
Good stuff ! And I can prove that a BMW F750 GS is uber happy touring the roads and highways as well. Never had a bike before that has cruise control ! Keep the videos coming !
I completely agree! I have an royal enfield classic 500 which isn’t a real motorcycle. Its not as if almost all of india uses these to travel trough unpaved roads in the mountains. So definately also not an adventure bike. I am looking into getting the nc700 to right now. So it’s good to now what i’ getting myself into😂
You are so right brother about the NC750. I'm saving since 10 years to buy an at least 350 HP adventure BMW bike that weight at least 400kg to go on adventure. I hope one day I can buy my adventure bike. Meanwhile I'm waiting I will keep driving my car. Because if I can't afford an adventure bike I better keep driving a old Renault car 75hp diesel engine. Yes, well said. But the question is will I trade my beloved NC for the upcoming Transalp CRF850L or CRF750L??? The manufacturers always like to dangle something new to grab your attention.
You could have the same adventures on the new NT1100 with the right tires as it has the same ground clearances etc as your pre ‘21 NC750 (albeit without the frunk). So no need for any Africa Twin or Transalp/CFR/Other if you’re not aiming to cross rock fields etc.

Sold my 2016 NC DCT in 2019 for an Africa Twin. I really miss the NC, seriously considering going back to one. Press label it a commuter, its an awesome all round: Adventure bike!
Yep, the suspension is short and too soft, little ground clearance, 17 inch wheels, DCT, heavy, but its good road bike. Why Honda put it in as a adventure bike was fill the gap that the Transalp 750 filled. Honda should move it to the standard category

I'll be honest I have a feeling this is sarcasm but I'll be honest I want your opinion. I'm looking for a new bike to use as my daily commuter (my current bike is a 2014 cb1100. I'm considering getting a 2021 model of the nc750x) is this good for that? Ps it is my only transportation and I live in south carolina. So usually no snow but humid and rain and heat and other times just normal weather
Hmmm. There are so many great bikes out there, I can’t tell you what would be good for you. But ... the NC is an excellent “allrounder” that will give you zero problems and be cheap to run for 100’s of thousands of miles.

I know I read it's more fuel efficient.
I don’t have any personal experience with the DCT. But if I was buying yo commute, it would be my choice. It’s a solid and reliable technology that Honda have been using for a very long time.
Issues? -Check service history that the valve clearances has been done at 24,000km. (Although it’s easy to do yourself) -Check rear wheel bearing for movement (many have failed at 20,000km due to substandard part. - Check chain wear. The OEM chain was crap. Many of us had to change it at around 20,000km. Having said that, these have been the only issues I’ve had in over 80,000km. It’s a very reliable bike.
I dont know if i want a nc750xdct or the crf1000dct. There are only 14kg difference. I like the Case in the nc the less price and less consumption. We get 2 Euro per Liter in Germany next. The Crf is a Africa Twin. I had the Rd07 before i became a father. The 238kg with dct is scarry. At the Moment i have a 800gs from 2008 with 207kg. With four diferent Whindshild and lot of noise in ear. It sucks so mutch. Driving more than 300 Kilometers is terrible. I look for a quit comfortable bike with dct to drive to work for fun or to travell once a year through Europe. So German is my Motherslang if anything is wrong writen.
Sometimes the NC750XD becomes to an adventure bike. Especially when you put some luggage on it. Then the 300kg limit (for a true adventure bike) can be exceeded as well 😂
Haha, like you my poor NC750X hasn't taken me on one adventure......., it's taken me on many.....and will continue to do so in a unhurried, fuss free way 👍
As you mentioned in your video, I'm not if you have to have at least 150 BHP to call it Adventure bike. Because if that is the case, what would make out of Honda Africa Twin from 2017 with only 94BHP?
hahaha ... great! ... well done! :-) ... for me the NC750X is a wonderful adventure bike because it offers to me everything i need! ... OK - it is not designed to do long and hard Offroad-Touring - but - I am also not designed to do long and hard Offroad-Touring! ;-) ... maybe next year I will do some touring do different countries in Europe - and my NC will bring me there!

I thought I detected a certain level of comedic cynicism here..... I would though say that is not like you... Having had two NC750X's I do agree that they are not an "adventure" bike.... where adventure is considered, in this case, to involve riding off road and into the "bush". I mean, as you say, totally unsuited to the task! I too failed to have any "adventures" on my NC's, simply using them to ride to Northern Scotland, around England and of course Spain and Portugal, or as we would call it, bits of "Europe"..... I have ridden similarly on the BMW R1250RT I had for 17 months, covering some 20,000 miles and not once going off road. My current ride, an NT1100D has already covered over 22,000 miles in just over 13 months, again not one of them technically off road, there may have been some short transitions over gravel or earth, which were necessary to turn the bike around, but hardly an adventure! So I am seriously considering another change of ride next year and was thinking of an NC, but now that I have watched your well reasoned video, I sense that I may need to up my game and buy either an Africa Twin, or perhaps a new Transalp, but then, if I don't ride either of those as required to have an "adventure" would it be a pointless exercise? I guess I will probably continue with the NT until the time comes to change and then move back to a lighter non adventure bike, probably another NC750X, given that it seems, by your excellent video, to meet my needs as a road going machine. Keep up the good work with your non-adventure rides and their accompanying video productions which keep us all reliably informed about your erm... sensible choices.
Man alive! Who even invented the term “Adventure Bike”?! An adventure does not have to mean riding off road. Ergo, whether or not you have an adventure on your NC750 - or whatever - is down to your own imagination and gumption.

Well I'm a proud owner of a NC750X with 77k on clock. Recently up to Darwin from Brisbane. And have traveled around a bit. When you loose track of time even what day it is. Only knowing your going in this direction. No planned time to start or stop. And your just having great fun traveling with your mate. Then its all a Adventure and always will be. May the kilometres bring you peace.
You don't need an adventure bike to go on an adventure...so long as you enjoy the journey you have embarked, that's already an adventure ! ! ......Nice video 👍😊

Here in England I don't have adventures on my NC either 🙃 but I have known monsterus BMs to have adventures to the supermarket and back. An adventure is what you make it people have been round the world on a Honda cub !

Every bike I owned was an adventure bike, even a 50cc at 16 years old that were the only bikes allowed by law in South Africa. I cheated and put an 80cc motor in mine.
todays motorcycles are so capable that they could actually be used to do multiple things. BMW GS for daily commuting, Vespa for touring, even Honda cub for cross country adventure.
Thanks for that. I have a CB500X and so many people as so keen to tell me it’s a street bike and unsuitable to use off tarmac. That’s strange because I regularly use it on gravel, mud and grass. I’ve even ridden it through deep water and both up and down steep hills on loose surfaces. I don’t understand, they insist on telling me it’s a road bike but (so far) it’s coped with everything I’ve put in it’s path. It’s so confusing.

My NC750, the version before the one featured in this video, safety took me over 50000km of South Africa's worst gravel roads. From the Cedarberg to the Eastern Cape, not suffering as much as a puncture.
I actually bought my 750 today, fetching it tommorow from the dealership and taking it down to SA’s west coast from Pretoria in 2 days time. Looking forward to it.

Thank you for the sarcasm!!!! I love it! You don't need to have a 1 liter powerhouse to have an adventure. Is the NC750X perfect no, but it's good enough for everyday riding as well as going on "not adventures" on dirt roads on the weekend. NGL, at first I was mad before figuring out you were being sarcastic. You don't need 150 BHP, a high seat height, or an expensive price tag to go on an adventure. As an ADV rider myself, I get tired of some of the elitest mentality that comes from more expensive ADV bike owners. Thanks again

Hey mate, I love your postings. I’m in the UK and I don’t have an NC, I have a Harley Ultra because me and the missus ain’t as small as we used to be! But I believe the NC is the best all round motorcycle on the road and I aim to get one soon for when I’m riding solo. Keep up the postings, they’re great!

I got a manual one new in 2017 and did 9 countries 18,000 miles in 12 months all over Europe returned around 70+mpg with me 2x 35 litre panniers, 2x 8 litre wet bags on the crash bars and a backpack. Never missed a beat only 2 bad points I found were standard tyres only lasted about 3,000 miles (soon changed for dual tread tyres) and the seat was like sitting on a kerbstone to combat that I used to take a break often. Never had an adventure either lol ! It really was the bike I should never have sold but I thought I was trading up to a Ducati Multistrada but missed the trunk and fuel economy (did miss the power of the Ducati though to be honest)
Oh, come On! Be a Man!! go and buy a 30k BMW GS! And then spend another 2k on essential protection accessorize that should come as standard on those huge Boxer engines, make sure you have a winch and the ability to call the army and bring their chinooks helicopters to help you lift the Motorcycle up every time you fall, that's a real Adventure!............... seriously, Great Content😉
Took delivery of my 2022 NC750x DCT today...never test rode it. All the information I got was from You Tube. Never seen a negative vlog yet. Only did 30km on it so far and suitably impressed
True. But unfortunately I’ve never been disciplined enough. Whenever I’ve owned “fast and powerful” I have either lost of come close to losing my license.

I got a Nc750x, i go for 2000km tours sometimes. you got alot of storage but i agree its not an real offroad bike. it is good in gravel roads and little river. but thats what i need :D i dont wanna go on fancy offroad trails and in europe you always have a gas station nearby.
Love the commentary Mate. For those who are manipulated to buy those big brand names and models, "You were over sold" I love my 2009 DL1000 V Strom and have done over 6000km on what was "not an adventure" but obviously IS.
ah okay "at least 150hp" so bad that a lot of the modern big bikes cut the power when you switch to offroad XD and really bad for tenere 700 and so on... ADV depends. a lot big ADVs a more Sport Tourers than ADVs. For a lot of people real ADVs have a weight less than 160kg and still a carburetor. So yes the NC is a Crossover bike. But 1200GS and so on are only modern Tourers with the possibility for terrain through a lot of electronics. In the end there will be always the one guy who is a little bit more adventurer than others...
I have been travelling now 90 000km with my Honda Click 150cc in Southeast Asia. I have been planning buy Honda NC750X DCT and give my Click for my wife.
I find people that think one bike can or should do it all amusing. I've been riding for over 56 years and have seen bikes become more and more specialized as time passed. My advice is buy a bike for what it can do. Stop worrying about what it can't do. If you want a bike for track day fine, get another for the road, and another for the dirt and be happy.
Planning to take my Nc750x around the NC500 next year for an adventure. Now I know it’s a trip and not an adventure. Appreciate the video allowing me not to be disappointed in the future
FFS, why does adventure class even exist, who says an adventure is green Laning or off-roading? I went 3000miles 15 nights under canvas, 12 countries, all on tarmac, are you saying that wasn't an adventure? FFS let's stop hijacking the word adventure and call them what they are cross-overs, they're your 4x4 of cars, and like them rarely get taken off-road and are wasted on most, who are just copycat Ewan wannabes. The nc750 makes an excellent touring bike, and all bikes that can tour are adventure bikes, but it's no cross-over, end of rant.

I think the crosstourer will become a “classic” as I understand Honda aren’t making them anymore.

Bought my 2023 NC750X DCT as, due to a foot injury I can no longer ride a manual change bike. Wow what a revelation, my 40+ years of biking can continue, let the adventure carry on. Every time I go out on a bike it’s an adventure, you never know what is round the next corner.
Having had a 1200GS and a Triumph Tiger 1200, going to the NC was an odd but necessary choice so I could stay on 2 wheels, first ride was 170 miles, 75 miles to the gallon, no chicken strips on front or rear tyres and it was effortless riding😊
I agree it isn’t an out and out adventure bike, but then an adventure is what you make it ride safe everyone 👍

Another great video about the Honda NC 750 X. I bought one at he beginning of July this year and I love it! And I should blame you for buying it. I saw this bike at my motorcycle garage and started looking for tests and reviews. And saw quite a lot of yours and got really enthusiastic. I had a VFR 800 but that wasn't really my thing. Hardly took it out for a ride anymore. But now I spend lots of time riding my bike. It really suits me. And because of your videoos I got inspired to start to go on an adventure again. Go abroad and see beautiful places. You're lucky to live in Australia and have so much space to explore. Was lucky to visit Australia several times and I really love it. Seeing this video can't wait to go there again. But thanks for letting me know the NC isn't an adventure bike. Have to find new roads to ride on which are less adventurous... Have a safe ride...!

I wish I had access to the type terrain that you have in NSW. I live in Dorset, UK, and have very limited off road areas to have “adventures” in, however it doesn’t detract from the NC’s ability to make me smile every time I ride it.
Howdy. I really enjoyed your "review". Great dry humor. I thought you were doing an actual review until you said "an adventure bike needs to have at least 150 horse power" ! And of course they need to be twice or even three times as expensive ! May I ask a serious question of you and the other NC750X owners out there ? I heard one reviewer say as a tall guy he felt a bit cramped on the NC. I'm 187 cm what do you guys think ?
I think I was that guy. I’m 190cm. It’s more cramped than being on at BMW but it’s not too bad compared to a lot of other bikes.
Revisiting this brilliant video and reading the comments, I just had to comment on this. I have owned a R1200GSA, a Moto Guzzi V85TT and are now riding a 2018 NC750X. Of the three I have to say the Guzzi fit me best, just a hair above the NC. The GS was not comfortable for me on longer trips. We are all different, I am 189 cm tall with quite long legs. I can ride all day with no discomfort on the NC with stock everything except for larger windscreen, hand guards and an aftermarket silencer. It is a very good bike with good handling, but fits my relaxed style of riding with low down usable power. Having had more than 20 bikes, I would say it all led to the NC. Reliability, service costs, practicality. Go ride one if you appreciate these things.

I completely agree! I have an royal enfield classic 500 which isn’t a real motorcycle. Its not as if almost all of india uses these to travel trough unpaved roads in the mountains. So definately also not an adventure bike. I am looking into getting the nc700 to right now. So it’s good to now what i’ getting myself into😂
You are so right brother about the NC750. I'm saving since 10 years to buy an at least 350 HP adventure BMW bike that weight at least 400kg to go on adventure. I hope one day I can buy my adventure bike. Meanwhile I'm waiting I will keep driving my car. Because if I can't afford an adventure bike I better keep driving a old Renault car 75hp diesel engine.

Tempting - if Honda ever get around to actually making one.
You could have the same adventures on the new NT1100 with the right tires as it has the same ground clearances etc as your pre ‘21 NC750 (albeit without the frunk). So no need for any Africa Twin or Transalp/CFR/Other if you’re not aiming to cross rock fields etc.

Sold my 2016 NC DCT in 2019 for an Africa Twin. I really miss the NC, seriously considering going back to one. Press label it a commuter, its an awesome all round: Adventure bike!

Yep, the suspension is short and too soft, little ground clearance, 17 inch wheels, DCT, heavy, but its good road bike. Why Honda put it in as a adventure bike was fill the gap that the Transalp 750 filled. Honda should move it to the standard category

I'm considering getting a 2021 model of the nc750x) is this good for that? Ps it is my only transportation and I live in south carolina. So usually no snow but humid and rain and heat and other times just normal weather
Hmmm. There are so many great bikes out there, I can’t tell you what would be good for you.
But ... the NC is an excellent “allrounder” that will give you zero problems and be cheap to run for 100’s of thousands of miles.

I don’t have any personal experience with the DCT. But if I was buying yo commute, it would be my choice. It’s a solid and reliable technology that Honda have been using for a very long time.
I'm looking at a 2017 NC750x DCT at a dealer. It has 29,000km. Anything issues I should be looking for? TIA
Issues?
-Check service history that the valve clearances has been done at 24,000km. (Although it’s easy to do yourself)
-Check rear wheel bearing for movement (many have failed at 20,000km due to substandard part.
- Check chain wear. The OEM chain was crap. Many of us had to change it at around 20,000km.
Having said that, these have been the only issues I’ve had in over 80,000km. It’s a very reliable bike.

I dont know if i want a nc750xdct or the crf1000dct. There are only 14kg difference. I like the Case in the nc the less price and less consumption. We get 2 Euro per Liter in Germany next.
The Crf is a Africa Twin. I had the Rd07 before i became a father. The 238kg with dct is scarry.
At the Moment i have a 800gs from 2008 with 207kg. With four diferent Whindshild and lot of noise in ear. It sucks so mutch. Driving more than 300 Kilometers is terrible.
I look for a quit comfortable bike with dct to drive to work for fun or to travell once a year through Europe.
So German is my Motherslang if anything is wrong writen.
Sometimes the NC750XD becomes to an adventure bike. Especially when you put some luggage on it. Then the 300kg limit (for a true adventure bike) can be exceeded as well 😂

As you mentioned in your video, I'm not if you have to have at least 150 BHP to call it Adventure bike. Because if that is the case, what would make out of Honda Africa Twin from 2017 with only 94BHP?

Having had two NC750X's I do agree that they are not an "adventure" bike.... where adventure is considered, in this case, to involve riding off road and into the "bush". I mean, as you say, totally unsuited to the task!
I too failed to have any "adventures" on my NC's, simply using them to ride to Northern Scotland, around England and of course Spain and Portugal, or as we would call it, bits of "Europe".....
I have ridden similarly on the BMW R1250RT I had for 17 months, covering some 20,000 miles and not once going off road.
My current ride, an NT1100D has already covered over 22,000 miles in just over 13 months, again not one of them technically off road, there may have been some short transitions over gravel or earth, which were necessary to turn the bike around, but hardly an adventure!
So I am seriously considering another change of ride next year and was thinking of an NC, but now that I have watched your well reasoned video, I sense that I may need to up my game and buy either an Africa Twin, or perhaps a new Transalp, but then, if I don't ride either of those as required to have an "adventure" would it be a pointless exercise?
I guess I will probably continue with the NT until the time comes to change and then move back to a lighter non adventure bike, probably another NC750X, given that it seems, by your excellent video, to meet my needs as a road going machine.
Keep up the good work with your non-adventure rides and their accompanying video productions which keep us all reliably informed about your erm... sensible choices.

Well I'm a proud owner of a NC750X with 77k on clock. Recently up to Darwin from Brisbane. And have traveled around a bit. When you loose track of time even what day it is. Only knowing your going in this direction. No planned time to start or stop. And your just having great fun traveling with your mate. Then its all a Adventure and always will be. May the kilometres bring you peace.

Every bike I owned was an adventure bike, even a 50cc at 16 years old that were the only bikes allowed by law in South Africa. I cheated and put an 80cc motor in mine.

todays motorcycles are so capable that they could actually be used to do multiple things. BMW GS for daily commuting, Vespa for touring, even Honda cub for cross country adventure.
Thanks for that. I have a CB500X and so many people as so keen to tell me it’s a street bike and unsuitable to use off tarmac. That’s strange because I regularly use it on gravel, mud and grass. I’ve even ridden it through deep water and both up and down steep hills on loose surfaces. I don’t understand, they insist on telling me it’s a road bike but (so far) it’s coped with everything I’ve put in it’s path. It’s so confusing.

My NC750, the version before the one featured in this video, safety took me over 50000km of South Africa's worst gravel roads. From the Cedarberg to the Eastern Cape, not suffering as much as a puncture.

Is the NC750X perfect no, but it's good enough for everyday riding as well as going on "not adventures" on dirt roads on the weekend. NGL, at first I was mad before figuring out you were being sarcastic. You don't need 150 BHP, a high seat height, or an expensive price tag to go on an adventure. As an ADV rider myself, I get tired of some of the elitest mentality that comes from more expensive ADV bike owners.

Hey mate, I love your postings. I’m in the UK and I don’t have an NC, I have a Harley Ultra because me and the missus ain’t as small as we used to be! But I believe the NC is the best all round motorcycle on the road and I aim to get one soon for when I’m riding solo. Keep up the postings, they’re great!

I got a manual one new in 2017 and did 9 countries 18,000 miles in 12 months all over Europe returned around 70+mpg with me 2x 35 litre panniers, 2x 8 litre wet bags on the crash bars and a backpack.
Never missed a beat only 2 bad points I found were standard tyres only lasted about 3,000 miles (soon changed for dual tread tyres) and the seat was like sitting on a kerbstone to combat that I used to take a break often.
Never had an adventure either lol !
It really was the bike I should never have sold but I thought I was trading up to a Ducati Multistrada but missed the trunk and fuel economy (did miss the power of the Ducati though to be honest)

Good stuff. I have a 2020 NC750x and absolutely love it, it does everything i need it to do.
It’s a two-wheeled CR-V. Nothing wrong with that unless you need to get across the Darien gap on the way to work.
Took delivery of my 2022 NC750x DCT today...never test rode it. All the information I got was from You Tube. Never seen a negative vlog yet. Only did 30km on it so far and suitably impressed

I got a Nc750x, i go for 2000km tours sometimes. you got alot of storage but i agree its not an real offroad bike. it is good in gravel roads and little river. but thats what i need :D i dont wanna go on fancy offroad trails and in europe you always have a gas station nearby.
Love the commentary Mate. For those who are manipulated to buy those big brand names and models, "You were over sold" I love my 2009 DL1000 V Strom and have done over 6000km on what was "not an adventure" but obviously IS.
ah okay "at least 150hp" so bad that a lot of the modern big bikes cut the power when you switch to offroad XD
and really bad for tenere 700 and so on...
ADV depends. a lot big ADVs a more Sport Tourers than ADVs. For a lot of people real ADVs have a weight less than 160kg and still a carburetor.
So yes the NC is a Crossover bike. But 1200GS and so on are only modern Tourers with the possibility for terrain through a lot of electronics.
In the end there will be always the one guy who is a little bit more adventurer than others...
I have been travelling now 90 000km with my Honda Click 150cc in Southeast Asia. I have been planning buy Honda NC750X DCT and give my Click for my wife.
I find people that think one bike can or should do it all amusing. I've been riding for over 56 years and have seen bikes become more and more specialized as time passed. My advice is buy a bike for what it can do. Stop worrying about what it can't do. If you want a bike for track day fine, get another for the road, and another for the dirt and be happy.
Planning to take my Nc750x around the NC500 next year for an adventure. Now I know it’s a trip and not an adventure. Appreciate the video allowing me not to be disappointed in the future

FFS, why does adventure class even exist, who says an adventure is green Laning or off-roading? I went 3000miles 15 nights under canvas, 12 countries, all on tarmac, are you saying that wasn't an adventure? FFS let's stop hijacking the word adventure and call them what they are cross-overs, they're your 4x4 of cars, and like them rarely get taken off-road and are wasted on most, who are just copycat Ewan wannabes. The nc750 makes an excellent touring bike, and all bikes that can tour are adventure bikes, but it's no cross-over, end of rant.

I accidentally put my NC in sport mode. The adventure stopped. Once i put it back in Drive; everything was okay again.
