Just FYI to those that ever plan on going to HK and crossing over to this mall, DONT go with the hawkers that approach you outside or inside trying to lure you. They 99%of the time aren’t the shop keepers, they’re just middlemen and get commission from these shops. You’re not getting the best deal when these guys bring you in. Edit: made my post before I even went 4 minutes in, glad Colin mentioned it too.

Once you are led in by the scouts, you’re automatically going to be categorized as a “水鱼” which in essence means your “easy prey/sucker”. Anyone that gets brought in by these guys will automatically get the cash cow prices and viewed as a newbie. Walking in without these guys gives off the impression you’re not “new to the scene” and didn’t fall for the hustle. You have waaaaaaaay better chances of getting a good price doing it without them. Know the market prices of what you’re looking for. Set a over/under of what your willing to pay and the quality you’re willing to live with. Worse case you walk away as there’s 100 more stall in that mall alone that you can also buy from. Not all these knock offs come from the same factory. Some come with A+ materials and some are basic flea market Canal Street junk.. if you want a 1 for 1 copy.. you’ll pay big $$$. I’ve been going to that mall since 2008 so Ive had my fare share of that madness in there.

I watch videos where they're expecting $5-$10 just because it's from China and fake. I genuinely like how reasonable your prices are because I too would pay around that same price.
I use *amzclothes* as my commuting clothes, and I have no problem with it. It is a comfortable jacket, the version is very good, it has not lost its shape, and there is a special pocket on the inside of the clothes, which is very convenient to put some change without worrying about losing it. I don't need a backpack when I wear it out. I love it so much

One will open up by the streets few minutes from "grand skylight hotel" then the police would raid it and stop it then again, opening up nearby the transit station once the metro stops its business operation. We had to go down some sketchy ass stairs then bam! There it is. It's huge. 1 floor long indoor strip. Very hush hush. Starts from 11pm to 3am I think. Check the details on some Chinese social media and you'll find it bro. They bargain harder there.

I lived in Thailand in the 80s and spoke decent Thai, I loved bargaining. My Thai girlfriend let me do all the bargaining because I got better prices than her. They always put on major skin tax, and I respect them for doing it. I am retiring to the Philippines in 10 days and look forward to having fun bargaining.
