I watch all the by-act-quest uploads, so there's not much of a drive to want to rewatch it all again.
It sucks because I want to contribute more to the "minutes watched" count UA-cam allows creators to keep track of, and I wind up feeling bad. haha

I believe you have mentioned that the warrior was the canon figure of the first game. Is the necromancer canon for Diablo 2's events or just your preferred character? Enjoy your narrative either way. Especially working in the throwing knives into the death of Andariel, little things like that makes the camp seem far more present that way.
Is D4 already released? And are you going to create a video of it?

Real nice loved your OG diablo story playthrough it kinda made me fall in love with the game again. I even made your paladin part of our dnd adventure as a retired npc with a serious hate for demons and his flail is the quest reward. Love your videos man keep up the good work.

You should really do book reading job with your voice and love for stories.
So far, the only thing I'd change is whether you always want or need to have the mid-quest conversations! While the times you have a comment or a joke to shoot back at it, it works, other times it seems a bit like unnecessary padding and does not contribute to the story! Otherwise, these are excellent playthrough-stories!

Your narration is outstanding, more deep and entertaining than modern movies. Very professionally done and Blizzard should be paying you at least 300k per year to do this full time for them. I’m sure that they would benefit from people purchasing some of their older games like this, Warcraft, their MMO, even StarCraft. I kind of want to purchase Diablo again and play through with my gf after watching these.

It's cool that they made it 3D, but they forgot about light sources.................. All the torches are still dumb sprites, not light sources. So everyone's shadows are not affected by them...🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Its been really fun revisiting these games with you. I recently got back into diablo and your videos have been the perfect companion piece for playing. I have also been binge watching during downtime at work or when im not playing at home. 😅 i know most of these videos are old by now but its easy to see you put a lot of time and effort into them and I for one really appreciate it. I just may have to check out some of the other games you do lore videos for.

I wish Diablo would go back to a less flashier and more gritter gothic horror style of the first game. But with game like Path of Exiles and Lost Ark I don't see that ever happening. People want flashy over the top powers. But I feel that this comes at the price of the theme of horror and hopelessness. With D4 looking more and more like MMO rpg version of D2 I feel the story will be even more an afterthought, which players will disregard for Ending content, daily rift and other boring mission. They will give you incentive like daily login reward so that some will keep coming back. It will be a boring loop of grind for a new set of gear through repetitive raid boss and dungeon. Before a new season comes out and then people star doing the cycle all over again.
Like why the hell is the world of Diablo overrun by demon there are hundred of thousand of asshole running around killing demons left and right. (all the other players of an MMO). Like in a normal single-player story. A tragedy befalls the good people of a village, you a brave and maybe foolish, warrior embark on a quest to save these poor people from a fate worst then death. In an MMO you literally have thousand. well million of players connected to that world running around killing anything that can possibly be killed outside the Village and City.
Immersion wise, how does it make sense that there are more powerful hero in this world that is apparently falling apart like in the million yet there are just a few NPC left.
If I had the money to create a MMO RPG I would have all areas outside of city as instances like in the first Guild Wars. In the city you could see other players if they are in the same server and instance they would show up as random NPC which you could speak to and if they or you accept them in your game, then they would appear in their true form. Otherwise they would look like generic NPC fully robed and hooded kind of like a Christian monk. No people running around spamming spell and shouting shit and multicolor, with a dozen crazy non-lore friendly skins and weird cash shop items and pets. Breaking all immersion.

I don't know how much can u cheese diablo lore, it's just repetitiv videos again and again... but now it's diablo remasterd and same lore videos again and again. Your videos are every day on recommended, same video lores with maybe twist of words and nothing else. It's like watching naruto but with 80% episodes are fillers that we saw 1000 time. Game lore my ass 90% of videos are diablo. But i will give u this gj on cheesing diablo so much ;)

Damn they watered down the ambience of the Asylum that was the creepiest part of the original game for me. Hearing mentally ill patients getting tortured in the back ground.
I could have done without the narration in between missions. Just put in the cutscenes and the NPC conversations. No need for the extra narration. Cut the fat.
Your videos are honestly the best of any Diablo lore videos I've seen. This video was great, and I'm looking forward for more. Its great watching this as I play Diablo 2 for the first time and being able to get a greater understanding and feel of everything.
This is dope man, if you're going for a little more immersion, you could use a controller to play so it doesn't show a cursor when moving around. Just a thought. Great work!
Playing this I never realised that the Intro to Act 2 gives a clue to the reveal at the end of Act 4: "You know who I seek: my brother" (No Spoilers here though!).

IMO they should have done a Diablo 1 remake first. It was so much simpler and easy to get in to. And could have been a decent mobile version. I would have bought that all day long for $20.
Meanwhile in lobby "tal armor 4 scrip" and then like 10 other trade groups. Normal and nightmare lobbies are ok. just "ok". Game is great tho.
