  • Those of us engaged with the #Bondfitnesschallenge are watching our food intake, but how do we navigate the challenges of business lunches where alcohol, rich foods, and high calorie deserts are the norm? In this video I show you how I make smarter choices in the battle towards the best version of myself by being strategic and thoughtful when embarking on the inevitable work meal scenarios.

The mantra of living like Bond, one moment at a time emanates from a concept of experiencing the joy of collecting small moments in life that add up to amazing journeys and stories....whether it's through style, locations, literature, fitness, and the movies themselves the world of Bond is explored through its people and their stories.
Ultimately though, The Bond Experience channel is a celebration of the James Bond franchise and the many people that form a true community. Our core mission is to create a strong connection in the Bond community amongst all the fans, regardless of interest or demographic.

I never try to control my intake at a restaurant visit or on holiday. Instead I'm very disciplined in my day-to-day lifestyle. This has worked for me for a long long time. Cheers!

As I am currently working with a trainer, meal prep is an absolute must. He’s also a body builder so his intensity with clients is even more hyper focused and disciplined regarding diet. His process has allowed me to lose about 15 pounds of fat while gaining muscle tone. I don’t want to bulk up but have lean and defined muscle mass which is rapidly happening as I trust has process and adjustment of macros. I did this reset after my mom died this past February as a way to cope and adjust focus. I try to avoid fast food or processed food and keep healthy snacks with me. My trainer keeps a cooler of prepped meals with him even when traveling. I’m told when I do eat out “you can step a foot off the wagon, just don’t jump completely off”! So far that’s been great advice especially when traveling and not able to prep. Thanks for these little well-placed nuggets…they really help!

I’m sorry but leaving that much steak is criminal! 😆

I will say don't be afraid of extra virgin olive oil, benefits are protection against harmful inflammation, lowers levels of LDL “bad” cholesterol, reduced blood pressure, rich in antioxidants, lowers risk of heart disease and protection against cancer. Plus, people ask why I look so young for my age (58) Olive oil! If you can get extra virgin olive oil, put it on that salad. Eating a Mediterranean style diet, I don't really have to think about what I eat because it's all healthy. Portion controls yes but I don'y have to say no to anything.

This is one thing that never made sense in Fleming's novels. Bond chain smokes, drinks, and eats heavy meals. Where does he have the energy and fitness for all the things Fleming has him do? On the other hand, spending $59 on a steak and eating only a third of it is a waste of money, even if it's on expenses.

Checking the menu beforehand is definitely the winner. I do that before any company outing. I just like to be confident in what I'm ordering before I get there 👍🏻

It's good to see a Bond Fitness Challenge video. Good techniques. Although I don't think I could eat half and then take half home. Taking your food home is not the done thing here in the UK.

David, Businessmeetings are my no 1 reason why my diet goes down the drain. My takeaway: do not justify why you are eating his or that way, instead, eat tactical. Check options in advance. Navy Seals: Proper Proprietary Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance (7P). My personal add on: skip breakfast so you can consume more calories on the event you are going to attend, which works well for me. Best, Tim 😎

Back in the age of steam when I was in the trade, my cocktail of choice was always Campari and soda (or in my case tonic). Have the bartender stick with one oz of Campari & zero sugar tonic.
You can drink that “adult kool-aid” adding ice and tonic over time all night long. This is not a Negroni - no vodka - but the red from the Campari and the lime slices say cocktail not mock-tail.
Honestly, in today’s world most clients or colleagues are not going to feel upset if you drink a non-alcoholic drink. If you are drinking with Russians…well, that’s another type of Bond experience. 😱

My technique for navigating food temptations is generally that I schedule one cheat day a week. If I end up straying, that's motivation for an extra workout session.

The menu ahead is a big key. I've been doing fewer ounces of leaner meat, and I try to go for brocoli or esparragus.

This is nice, for I guess CEO meetings. But for the rest of us 98 percent, any kind of business meeting comes with everything preselected, bagels, donuts, coffee. Bond always indulges in the delicacies provided to him. He'll work off the calories in other ways.

Just adjust macros via your weight or desired weight. Being in shape like Bond isn't easy, I have done this diet for almost 18 years and have kept the BF off.
Have to also keep the Bond attitude as well when conversing in a dignified manner "Rolex? Omega.. Fabulous"..
