I recall first seeing Miss Carrara in Condor Man. Fun movie as a kid, particularly memorable was the gang of Porsches led by the marble-eyed henchman. Glad to see she's still doing well.
So many captivating locations. It's great to see Bond fans gathered in sincere interest. The interview with Ms. Carerra, and how she went about creating and then becoming Fatima is fascinating. She created quite a memorable character. I have to say, even though I am not there, it is satisfying to see the entire group having so much fun. Enjoying the actual locations, the food and drink and most of all each other. Learning interesting facts and having a bunch of laughs. Here's to us! Cheers.

I love France so much! I would love to go back. I seriously need to watch Never Say Never Again....again. But I think I'll have a different viewpoint of it now. So cool to see Barbara Carrera there! Just amazing. I had read that she was the sweetest person. And I'll say it again, she will always be my Laser Lady.
001st🍸 Amazing i remember as a 10year old being really quite excited to see Connery back as Bond vs Moore in the "modern era" that was the 80's. & to have him in a chase scene riding a gadet equipped Motorbike was something we'd not seen Bond do before. Whilst in Monte Carlo did any of the group have the opportunity to visit the final resting places of Roger Moore & Director Lewis Gilbert both of whom are in the same cemetery almost next to one another.
I won $15 bucks at the adjacent Casino Cafe de Paris in 1997. Used it to buy a "Braveheart" milkshake at the Planet Hollywood
Fabulous to see Barbara again. She is the only reason to watch that crummy a*se wipe of a movie. She still has it. Wonderful to see a glimpse of her exclusive interview. There wont be too many more occasions to capture these brilliant stars at their prime. How lucky are you to have been there?
Absolutely stunning! I was an F1 fan for as long as I've been a Bond fan so when you guys were in Monaco all I can see was that you were the F1 corners like start finish straight, Massenet, and Casino Square. This is such a beautiful part of the world that I'm surprised more Bond films weren't filmed here. Forget Italy for a while and film in the Côte d'Azur!
Many fans seem to always knock Never Say Never Again, but they always seem to come back to it.
Not bad for a rogue Bond film.

Was in Monaco a few years ago and visited the casino de Monte Carlo. The Omega boutique is also there, and I purchased my SMP300m. That watch is tied to Bond, and has sentimental value.

Enjoyable segment David! But, too much camera motion, zooming in or out, it can make the viewer sea sick. Set the camera on a tripod or stand, and take a "still". The motion should be in the frame, not in the camera...

When i read Goldeneye in the title i thought this was going to be about Jamaica.
I did also. I was expecting Nassau.
