- This man loves doing digs with his Camaro and I can tell why after watching it launch a bunch of times. Twisted and sideways out of the hole again and again looks like a blast.
At the end of the day, what I am really impressed with is how simple this combo is. Putting it into the 10s with only a stock bottom end LS1 and a 4l60 trans! - Авто та транспорт

Showing again what good chassis prep and a proper trans will do for a build. Power isn’t really an issue with these LS cars if you just want a quick street car. That 400-450 HP puts in a lot of work when it actually makes it to the pavement.
True on the trans. I notice some of the best running ls cars with a 4l60 all have a 4k stall or bigger. I got a 4k stall and performabuilt 4l60 in my truck and just that alone made it a different truck. Threw a built motor in it and it really woke the converter up after that
Hence why these are the best bang for buck cars of the era. 10 seconds N/A, it would take a boosted 03/04 Cobra at least 600+ to the tire to run comparably.
@@SpeedDemon88X I'm late but true. I started out cam only cast heads adj tq arm T56 373 gears bolt ons and correct. Without power adders I was getting by 03 cobras.

Like it high 10s on the motor seems to run extremely well enough to smack down just about any new stock super car in the quarter mile LS engines love high stall converters

@bhcamaro2002 got one for 400 bucks, gutted roller 2000 Cameron v6, red. Buying parts now little by little.
Nice times, im almost there but on a budget, stock bottom end ls1 188k miles 799heads custom cam tbss intake 95mm throttle body speed engineering headers quality converters(local converter shop paid 350) 4k 10.5 in stall on a 700r4 and 3.73 gears and founders performance suspension components, hit an 11.17@119, its easy and rather cheap to get these cars in the low 11 breaking into the 10s is when you start requiring a little more money and brain to set up your combo right
love the "scoop-less" hood. Always left my z28 that way

Definitley not stock id assume, look into a s60 rear end or a ford 9 inch for your setup i have the s60 with 373 gear with a ls3 t56 swapped 2000 camaro ss

What rear end is it? Definitely has some aggressive gears running out of rpm at 122 mph in third gear , but its geared perfect
More like not aggressive gearing at all. 3rd gear in my car takes me to 85-90 if that.

What duration does this cam have?
Sounds like he is bouncing the limiter going across the line on top end as well. Must have super tall gears to only have a like 125mph top speed.. cool car and build but idk have to have lil more top end than that.. if he does a 60 to 125 pull its probably over in 4 or 5sec go down some in gear and atleast have a 150 top speed and you can also try to get faster in quarter.. hard to improve when your are at top speed on the track

There's still 4th gear in trans his top speed is much higher than that. 1/4 mile you want to be crossing the line in the top of 3rd or your 1:1 ratio in the trans.
