Great vid man but 2 things you don’t have to hit burn everytime you change a value it reflects it live as long as the car is on you hit burn when your all done and when you hit burn rev the car so it does not die on you

Hopefully you see this I know it been two years but do you remember where you wired your AEM wideband in? I tried using the custom extension provided with the ECU and cannot get it to work and I belive that’s why it can’t even get past idle
I assume by now you have this sorted. However - MSPNP2 the options port is needed to get built. You will run your afr ground to port 5 and wideband output to port 21. Cheers m8
Great job on this video, but what was with the coolant temp.And also you should be able to tune the cranking fuel so the engine does not have to crank so long before it fires. I,m doing an LNF in a Fiero w the Mega Squirt, have been thru all these problems also.

So I set my base ignition timing to 14. but it reads 22 degrees on the timing light and ECU/ in tuner studio after I turn fixed table off ?? Can someone help ?
Does anyone have trouble with rev hunting? Like it will bog down in neutral or when you turn on the AC. Sometimes it will also just shut off in neutral after driving.
After you connect the cable the USB port on the computer where do you connect the other end of the cable. I'd like to do this with my car but I have is an odb2 port available that I know of
Everything you changed on the fuel table got set back to normal right when you started the autotune........definitely not the right way to change your idle afrs
Megasquirt, biggest pile of shit I've ever encountered. Would not trust a lawn mower engine to be controlled by one of these managements. Had to troubleshoot a bmw m50b25 car yesterday running ms. Like really? You have to physically configure the pcb with jumpers and flying leads to VR crank sensor, if the ecu is set before for hall effect primary trigger. No engine protection fail safes whatsoever, $60 for a ms-dos level software what seems to be made by a garage nerd that should be free with full support and functionality that every other ecus have, a fucking serial port communication???

I just ordered Megasquirt pnp2 for my mustang and they sent a whole roll of nice vacuum hose and a tee. Why don't the Mazda guys get that included?

Pretty sure I didn’t have the coolant temp calibrated correctly

If you notice at 8:25 he hasn't calibrated his coolant temp sensor in megasquirt. It's giving a false reading.

I have that issue with it shutting off. Did you ever fix this? what was it

To tune the car, you are programming the ecu.
