Andy - Love the videos but this one was good and bad. Good that you tackled a hard issue and have some unique ways of approaching it. Bad in that you didn't directly correlate the numbers from your lines to what you entered in the TPS for WOT view. Also, you mentioned something about how you "scaled" TPS to make the line straight, but you didn't tell us what that meant or if we should do the same. So, from that point on, wasn't really sure why I did the stuff at the beginning...it wasn't clear. Then at the end, it wasn't clear why we were looking at the slope on the end and what we should do if we see it not in the smooth arc that yours was in as it was obviously already tuned. Would have been better to show us each extreme - too lean and too rich, and how to slowly correct for it.
Hey Andy. Great videos very useful thanks for taking the time to make them. Quick question at 12:55 you refer to something you set on the previous screen to help with noise on the signal of TPSdot and MAPdot. I can' quite tell what you are referring to. Is this just turning on a little bit of smoothing to the signal in Megalogviewer? Thanks Ed
I was going to setup datalogging but I do not have „next_spark-tooth“, is this something you programmed? Can you please let us know how to get this? Thanks
Hi Andy, we bought a megasquirt pnp 2 that was previously installed on an 89 to 93 fox body mustang 5.0L. Can it be made to work on my 1993 Ford Thunderbird SC? It has the factory supercharged 3.8L V6.
Hi Andy. I really appreciate all these videos! Thank you very much! If your Accel enrichment is off, would tune analyze live lean out those cells? The reason I ask is when I run tune analyze it leans my motor out to a 16.0
Andy, at about 8:23 you mention that the green line essentially makes up your new TPS at WOT curve. However, I am having a hard time correlating the numbers you show in TunerStudio to the green line. 3,000rpm shows to be about 30% TPS according to the green line, in TS you entered 55%. Is that right?
No problem yet, I have helped a few people out 'unprofessionally' tuning on their Haltechs and Megasquirts, but I'm about to do my own MS3x on a 7M-GTE turbo 3L so I will have lots of time to learn to properly learn AE and not be afraid of it.
Hey Andy! I watch all your videos and they are very informative. My only question pertains to your mic, it always sounds muffled or far from where you are, are you using a lapel mic or just the camera Mic? Your work is outstanding though 😊
Oh, that's why it sounds like you're on the phone. I use a cheap $20 bluetooth lapel mic plugged into my gopro and get pretty good audio. Just use a cable extension if I need to move around.
A lot to take in. But I now have a much clearer understanding in AE. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for this video. It helped me out a lot with understanding how it works and now I feel better about tackling my AE.

Agree, I don't quite understand the method here because of the same things you pointed out.
Can you please explain how you get the green and yellow lines in the RPMvsTPSvsTPS histogram? I’m stumped.

Many thanks for your videos!
Could you please tell us how to add 'engine cycle' to the log viewer? I cannot find it neither in MS nor in HD version.

Ditto... None of that made any sense. Or how he made the next curve off of that data. I'll just stick with what my basemap has I guess
Where's the follow up video?
It's a ternary operator, not IF statement, btw.
Would really like to see this subject as it pertains to a turbocharged engine.
What issue are you dealing with? Can you post a data log?

I am using a $20 Bluetooth Headset and a Samsung S8. If I ever start making money at this, the equipment can improve. Thanks for watching

I don't suppose this works on OBD1... as in... 1994 Z28? The program that is.
Why does Andy sound different than he does now? Almost like a completely different person.
Sound and different microphones is a real pain to deal with. Later videos were mostly done with a Bluetooth headset.
pay attention from 14:00 i will never for get that bit of into
