I recommend the Victorinox classic SD which is a very small knife for people who just want to open a letter or something. A very short blade, it’s like $25 & it comes with a small scissors as well.

I'm in the left-hand club too and I always carry with me a stainless steel Parker Jotter with Schmidt Easyflow 9000 refill, a Hikonogami knife (with brass handle obviously) and few other bits.

I'm totally blind but still enjoyed that video. You sound good. Regarding the iPad and distractions, look into the notification settings as well as the focus settings. It's easy to eliminate the distractions you don't want. Treat notification settings as the bedrock and choose what you want in normal circumstances. Then, use the focus setings to fine-tune for various more special times.
For me, a big screen does nothing. Give me an iPhone an a Nuphy Air75 mechanical keyboard any day. Can't use AirPods Pro while wearing hearing aids but they're great when I'm alone. They can also serve as backup hearing aids if you amplify transparency mode. EarPods fit in overtop of my hearing aids. Shokz bone conduction headsets are handy while outdoors. A Braille display is the only really specialized gear I need. Everything else is pretty ordinary. Any sighted person could use it. A Bluetooth speaker, Leatherman Wingman multitool, small radio, flat water bottle and extra powerbanks round out my pack.

I'm a Benchmade guy but the Para 3 is still my ultimate EDC! Just can't beat the fidget factor of one.

@@dominicscalise it looks perfect, don't clean it. reminds me of terracota pots we had back in late 80ies and 90ies when i was growing up. i never thought much of them but here we are years later - asked my mom last summer if she would mind giving me some of the ones she wasn't using anymore. now i love the slightly beat-up, imperfect look

Do you put your Sony's in their case? I have them in the bulky case everyday and have considered taking them out but don't want them to get damaged
I’ve pretty much never used the case for space saving and simplicity. I just slip them straight into my briefcase. Have for years, and I don’t think there is a single mark on them.

Is this an American thing where people take up a table at cafe all day long instead of working at home or their office?
No, it’s this American thing where I literally say how long I stay at the cafe within the first 10 seconds of the video.
no hate man... but do you really go to a cafe and take up a table for hours to conduct your own business? Do they expect you to keep ordering food and drinks that whole time? Don't they care that the tables aren't turning over for new customers etc. @@dominicscalise
@@Wayne-ze7rs yes, I REALLY go to a cafe for HOURS and conduct business. Of course they don’t expect me to keep ordering food or drinks. And there is never a shortage of tables available when I’m there.
Back when I owned a cafe, I loved when my patrons posted up. They brought familiar faces and vibrancy to our cafes.
