I used le labo’s tonka + Vetiver daily for a long time - awesome combo, fresh and deep, I think they complement each other really good. Recently I switched to Frederic Malle’s Uncut Gem by Maurice Roucel and fell in love - sharp, masculine and boy, does it develop during the day.
Loved this vid, thank you! Another house to check out is Floris. They have a ton of fanboys while still remaining just under the radar. Santal for everyday/evening, Bergamotto di Positano for summers/vacations and you're set. A bit more subtle on their projections and lasting power, but the layers are complex in a good way. And, no one else in the room is going to smell like you with these on.

Have all these fragrances. I think you would enjoy Initio Parfums (Side Effect and Rehab), Dior Prive (Ambre Nuit) and Maison Francis Kurkdijan (Grand Soir)

Moved on to RL Polo by 9th Grade. By then I was attending an all boys Catholic high school and had a cheerleader girlfriend. That over stimulated, perfectly proportioned Catholic School girl, would swoon when she smelled Polo on me. Yes, I was living the dream, every damn night! By my senior year, I was wearing Chanel for men. Black bottle, Smokey, great smell. Leap forward a few years. Senior year in college, I was still wearing Chanel. Today, I spritz Rugby by J. Press, daily. I smell freshly showered at work, without people looking at me like I’m a 55 year old with a 25 year old beauty in the basement. When I go out to dinner with my wife, who I call Lovey, I wear men’s Flower Bomb. Lovey looks at me, like she did when I was 19 😊. Signed, LtCol, USMC (Retired) and ex-Amazonian ;) P.S. Agreed. Floris Leather Oud is nice for the colder months as well. So sad they discontinued 1962.

No one nailed it more about Santal and now I know why I love it. Dill! I might be alone here but dill is my favorite smell in the world.

i highly reccomend you try diptyque vetyverio edt one of the cleanest vetiver scent. avoid edp though if u want clean

I think I've tried Noir Extreme (don't recall it) but definitely not Althaïr. I'll have to check them out!
