One lamp had a finial missing. Just noticed it.
If you have a steamer that works well for disinfecting pillows. Other items too like baskets or handbags. Steam kills more bacteria than washing in the washer does. And it's quicker!
Wow, I didn't know that about steam! Thanks.
Another reason to get a steamer! Thank you!!!
I just throw mine in the snow for a day in -20 degrees!
You can have beach decoration in the landlocked. Middle of Tennessee, ask me how I know...😂
"What I'm basing that on is.. nothing" 18:55 😂😂😂
This is officially now my new favorite phrase! I just adore you! 😂😂😂
What stands out the most is how hard both of you work!! Every day for hours you are sourcing. I appreciate all you do to bring us wonderful videos. It is a joy to watch the two of you, your shared passion of reselling, and your love for each other. May God continue to bless you as a couple, and both your businesses. Use lots of hand cleaner as you shop, keep yourselves healthy this winter season.
Love how humble and kind he is at all times. Refreshing.
Your hauls lately have been LEGENDARY! You and Roger together are unstoppable. 😊love watching you both!
I love Rogers answer..."You're the Queen" ❤
I believe the long, shallow bowl is called a dough bowl.
FYI, Salmon Falls just announced they are closing their doors and are not making anymore pottery. It was a good pick up already, now it might be a great one.
Roger: “you’re the Queen”
Good answer Roger!!!!
Merrill shoes/boots are well made and comfortable. Some items are made to be light weight.
Hi Karen❤ “You’re the Queen”🥰 is he for real? So kind and he is definitely invested in you!
The rest of the video was great too😁
Of course he's interested...she's married to him 😅
@@karenkuhr5698 Invested, which is different from interested😁
Yes it's the smalls that usually get the rent paid.....the bread and butter. When I get my print out at the end of the month, most items are under $25. Lots of $5-$10 items that i source from the bins. Also don't sleep on books to help pay your rent. I do well with vintage cookbooks, 50's handyman type books, quilting books, etc.
I love that you talk about your thoughts outloud, the price, how much you could charge for them.. etc. Not a lot of sellers do that, and it not only teaches and helps people understand the process, but it shows you really care about each item! Love it
Good morning! I just went to my mailbox box, in the pouring rain, to ship my eBay packages. One things for sure, seller on eBay isn't for the weak! Karen I can't thank you enough!❣️
I use silver plate pieces for elegant Christmas decor
My “personal” opinion on Scandinavian blue collectors plates, with exceptions, would be to imbed them in a fireplace surround or other country, farmhouse setting. In a hundred years they’d be irreplaceable.
whose the queen?..."you are" so sweet!!!!!
Hi Karen, your videos are always educational and entertaining! Regarding the old fad of having tea parties, there is now another trend. Women are buying cups and sauces of all different patterns and are using them at bridal showers. Guests use the cups and saucers for coffee or tea during the shower, and then they may take it home as their party favor.
The blue plate from Denmark , was Royal copenhagen very attraktive and pricey
Hello, I just received my package from you.I have to say it was the most well package items I have ever received .The skull Challis, and skull trinket dish are great.Cant wait to use it next year for my Halloween decor.Thank you so much!!!
I thought that abacus was actually an under-desk foot massager! An abacus usually has that separated section of beads on one side, doesn't it?. Eh, what do I know... But I do believe, from what I could see, that the framed picture of the woman in a gown with a bird on her hand is an angel.
Fun seeing you two find, research and scrutinize items!
Sweet little white rabbit!
Tip for buying thrift lamps; unless you have spares, always check if finials are present, especially with matching lamps. Different finials can spoil the look.
You can buy extra filials
I'm worried that she won't be able to match thus style finial.
That coffee cup that said Omnibus is made by Fitz and Floyd.
We had a pottery vase like that when I was young (70’s)
The "queen" art piece is actually of an angel---she has wings.
It was sold by The Bombay Company.
HOW GOES THE BOOTH? I DO BOTH ALSO-EBAY AND A BOOTH, ALWAYS REMEMBER IN THE BOOTH IT IS NICE TO HAVE A MIX OF SOME NEWER ITEMS. I HAVE BEEN DOING A BOOTH FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND I FIND THAT SOME CUSTOMERS ENJOY NEWER ITEMS AS WELL AS THE ANTIQUES. GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY!
The frame takes over the queen picture.
Fun stuff you two. Can't wait to see "Down the rabbit hole" all set up with the smaller items....Good luck
My husband loves our cars. We have nice fast cars. When a man over 50 buys cars, they love their cars. Lol
Use white fingernail polish dotted over the “1” as it will be less streaky and when dry use black fingernail polish to paint “3”. 12:01 When all is dry put a small see through transfer (similar to the garland already there) over it all to camouflage slight imperfections and voila !! Takes maybe 1/2 hour total.
Oh the interaction between you just makes my heart Happy the love that you two have in the balance of your beautiful relationship it's a joy to watch never mind the thrifting part you two should have a reality program on how relationship should be
Always love going shopping with you two! Thank you for taking me/us along! ❤
You two are so cute together!
I myself have wore my merrills for 5 Canadian winters hun..still in great shape and I've never slipped on the ice. ❤😊 love you both❤❤
The King and Queen of Goodwill. Hilarious!
Karen, I’ve started buying to start selling on EBay. I’m SO excited!!!! You have a great business model, I’m using all of your suggestions.
If you run into any problems on the bay, I'm a poster on the ebay forum and we can help
Good Luck!🍀
I was happy to see a new post. Unfortunately, I don't have time to watch it now, but it gives me something to look forward to
We visited the Rt 30 Lancaster GW today (Weds) for the first time & was overwhelmed by the size of that store. We only looked at hard goods as I was hoping to find a small shelf with no luck. Now I totally understand how Roger and you can spend an entire day there sourcing. Some day I'd like to have the time to wander thru and really look at everything.
I love finding cards at the thrift store
499.00 or 1099.00 for that counting game. Enjoyed.
I love hockey games! So much fun!
Salmon Falls salt glaze pottery. A lot of people collect it. Unfortunately they will be closing permanently in the near future...the end of December I think. 😞
Hi Karen love Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️
Merrill’s are usually lightweight but very durable and comfortable!
I got a good laugh out of Roger when you you ask him about that long fork HE Shuged his shoulder so cute.Sweet when he called you a gueen..
Actually, on top of being an antique dealer and just having closed my vintage clothing store, I have been an event planner for 20 years and I design many events using antique furniture, old doors, mirrors, crates, so many things... And yes it's a ton of work, but my point is antique teapots antique cups are extremely popular today for weddings and showers as well as the big Alice in wonderland themed trend going around for a few years now. I would pick pretty ones up for the booth. Ask the vendors how they do...
Roger is a King! He was deemed to cross your path at the perfect time to make your life complete! Both of you bring blessings to your viewers by seeing you enjoy being together and sharing life together!
Love goin* shopping with you and Roger , I learn and I enjoy like I was shopping
I love the harlequin hat box you did not pay attention to...
Don't those off-white and orange pillows make you think of a rib cage? Would be great for an MD who treats thoracic/bone disorders. I can see them on his couch in his waiting room..
😁
Pierpont good for dried flowers I like mine
Again loved your content! Happy Holidays to you and Roger.
I so enjoy going thrifting with you, Karen! Your comments are insightful & fun!
The pottery piece with the blues are by Salmon Falls Pottery in New Hampshire. I have much of their pottery.
Hi Karen, can you share Roger’s eBay store? I am interested to look at what games etc that he is offering! Thank you!
I think that teacup and saucer was Royal Albert Old Country Roses, it’s a good seller!
You guys are adorable! My favs to watch!
I just picked up Salmon Falls pottery with a cow motif! I love salt glaze and I love that shade of blue. ☺
Hello Karen and Roger. Thanks for the video.
My daughter was at that hockey game on her first date♥️ new eBay seller here 👋
My husband and I live in the UK and Tottenham Hotspur is the football team that he supports, tell Rodger that the top would cost a lot over here! He definitely got a bargain 😀
Roger now is doing a haul … what a difference a year or 2 make.. soon he’ll have his channel 😂… I look forward to your videos if you 2.. Merry Christmas to both of you ..🎄😊❤️.
Love to see your bright shiny face!!! I so need a Karen Lavender clothesline fix todayyyyyy!❤
It is so entertaining to watch The Queen and her trusty companion, at work. I'm in a large city and our metro area does not have a single thrift store with selections like these. Our shelves are usually bare. Competition is so fierce with literally sometimes dozens of resellers working the same stores. It's not much fun! Thanks for an enjoyable view!
I need to come shopping in your neck of the woods. You're Goodwill's always have lots of good stuff. I'm in Delaware and we have nothing. Love watching your video's very informative and learn a lot from the both of you. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Safe, Warm New Years.
“You’re the queen”! Awesome!!👍🏻
Love your videos. You and Roger are so cute together. I know what you mean about listing the same item on more than one platform then having to hurry and cancel on other sites when it sells. I once sold an item to the same lady both on Ebay and Etsy. I explained to her that I was the same seller. Of course I cancelled the order on the site I had it priced lower. Fortunately she was ok with that.
You two are so fun to watch! Thanks for taking me along with you!!
Some tea cups and saucers can be good check them. Also I sell a good amount of brass.. some brass lamps can be good too. :) I love watching your videos :)
Such a gorgeous hardworking couple. You inspire many
I'm not sure how it works but I think you can cross list with list perfectly and list perfectly will take down the item as soon as it sells on one of the platforms.
Love to watch your videos from Pittsburgh PA❤
The lady print reminds me of possibly a Longfellow poem or other long forgotten character in an historic story.
Tea parties are coming back. People are setting tables, photographing them then giving the items to their friends when they leave. Also, there are businesses that specifically throw tea parties for children and adults.
I think the little wooden box would be a nice recipe box
Not sure on the glass lidded pedestal bowl, but vintage yes, no chips no cracks I hope, empoli possible!!! A good find, if no damage.💞💞🙃💞💞
Haha! Did you see the pink ceramic bunny suit?
I put back an old porcelain lamp at the Goodwill where I go. Went back later and of course it was gone.
Barcode was invented in the form it’s now in 1973
Karen, that apothecary jar is far more thin, delicate glass than what Westmorland did. His glass was heavier pressed glass of the day. Yours is also newer than Westmorland's, though it is still vintage and very pretty.
I dont think that piece was Westmoreland glass. I collect milk glass and that piece was not but it was pretty.
The small crock is Salmon Falls pottery blueberry pattern I believe on the one. The other don’t know a pattern
I just learned what MCM stands for! Thank you! I leaen something new from all of your videos 🎉
What does MCM stand for? Thanks
@barbaradeweese2078 Mid Century Modern
My grandmother had ‘New Amsterdam’ pieces. I believe they were like a quad-plated copper. (My brain hurts, I’m going back about 55 years). I don’t think hers was a gold mine, but I hope your are
It is good to be King!
Love the video ❤❤❤
Good stuff !
thank you for putting the plated things back,, whew
Awesome watching you and Roger together! Truly love you guys!
The Helen Berg Salmon Falls 2003 Stoneware Bear has some value, good choice! Love watching you both!
I pick up paw print pottery it’s just the brand. I believe they’re local to us in PA. Nothing to do with animals although I’m sure it could be used as a dog dish! Lol
Who's the queen? You're the queen! Do we love a cute couple? Yes we do!!!
Bless you!! 💜😃😘
@@lavenderclotheslineu r blessed!
Yes silverplate aesthetic movement 1860-1900 love these, have several
I grew up in Dover NH and that is Salmon Falls Pottery. My family still lives there. According to my brother they went out of business. They had a place on Salmon Falls (very neat). He says the left overs in his garage. I don't know that for fact but if you ask my brother...he knows everything. Lol
We still have a yearly tea party for ladies , you must wear a hat … the mugs are beautiful I have the teapot and cup and saucer
Burgundy Hydrangea: there are versions of burgundy hydrangea. I have always found it interesting that the colors on the same plant can very if the soil PH is changed.
I have that cute green tea forte cup - love it
It is a tea forte cup with the birds and top for tea
