Today we are thrifting at Goodwill and perusing the booths at the antique center..
Come along!
The hunt is real! I spend hours and hours each week, combing through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions, flea markets & Antique centers ... to bring home the goods and prepare them for selling in my Ebay store, my antique booth and on Facebook Marketplace, which fully supports me.

I always take a picture of the tag color sign when I come in. Later on when I can't remember what color it was, I have it right there with me.

Oh noooooo that big handled basket would be great for all of us yarn lovers. Great for storing yarn by your comfy chair. So pretty piled high with yarn. I like the victoria lamps. I would just put them in your booth one at a time. Sell one and then put in the other because of the colour differences. Somebody is going to love them. The rosary box is cute, especially if you can find a rosary to go in it. Would bring a decent return.
Also a gift basket. I have started using them for Christmas gifts when I am giving several smaller things!

New to your channel...I don't know if you DIY? The cat cork holder can easily be remade by painting the sign. Wire cut the top and sphagnum moss and turn into a plant holder 😊 congratulations on getting a jump on the items...yeah!
I would take the lamps and sell separately for sure. They’re so beautiful, I think they would be a pretty quick sale. The basket I would have kept. The golf putter was a great find. I loved the print of the girl. Awesome find with the All clad pots! You did so well with your haul today Karen! Most everything you put back when I looked it up should have gone back! Yes, I would pick up the two lamps/lights. But I would sell them separately. If the buyer wants both, they could bundle and buy both as opposed to selling as a set and not giving the buyer an option.
Oooo that basket you put back! Baskets are (one) of my weaknesses. I use larger baskets in the living room and bed rooms to keep throws in to grab on a chilly day. Love the enthusiasm you both have . Like two kids in a candy store. Great teamwork !
I would get the lamps. One looks faded. Like was possibly closer to a window. If bought for personal use I would have them reupholstered or recover myself.
I am so glad you took the print of the girl! My mother had that over the bed in the "Grape Room," which was the guest bedroom downstairs. She was longingly looking at another print of a man who was sitting hunched over, seaside. It was such a lovely room. It housed an old phonograph of my paternal grandparents, my maternal grandmother's crystal clawfoot table, a wedding picture of my maternal great-grandmother, doilies made by my grandmother, a photograph of my maternal grandfather as a baby with his parents, and so much more. Thank you for this delightful memory!

Double YES on the lamps! Giving maximalist Victorian Barbie-core vibes. I could see both of the hung together in a cluster on a small wall. So cute!
Our Goodwills don't put carts out during business hours. They don't want people looking in them. If there is a cart out they will have a sign saying don't take from the cart.
The lamps are charming, the different colours are both lovely, powdery variations of the same theme. They can be hung enough apart of each other, so that the eye can not see both of them in one glance.
I would have grabbed that lead crystal dish, it can be used for anything, bathroom, bedroom or for serving fruit and nuts etc.

i would take the lamps and sell it seperatly, because maybe someone is either single or its just for the guestroom or another room, where you dont need two similar lamps. i love midcentury modern things abd every time you pass such things i feel sad. but i love most of your finds, great day!

When i first heard your voice i knew u were from long island im original from new jersey born and raised i now live in Missouri and people know right away where i am from even though i lived in panama city florida for over twenty years so we never lose our accents know matter how long we have lived away from up north love watching u and roger also like to watch the homeschooling picker katltn and matt

I definitely want the 2 vintage lamps that you bought! I think I would hang the lamps in granddaughter's bedroom, one on her headboard & one on her curtain rod to use as a nightlight for her, or maybe put on in my bathroom hanging on my curtain rod for a nightlight

I love those lamps.... I too wish they matched too. However after just recovering a lamp shade with my daughter, she just went off to college and couldn't find what she wanted so we recovered the outside with material to match her drapes - that we made, and it was not as hard as I thought it would be.
If you hung the lamps in two different rooms or even across the room from each other, I don't think anyone could tell. I LOVE them!!!

Lucky you to have Goodwil to yourself for at least a little while. Great finds. Not sure if anyone shared with you but Costco sells several Felina items for very inexpensive prices and they often put it on sale. I love the tanks and underwear.

Your 2 lamps go over a headboard. I have one and it works great. Works like a night light when one gets up during the night...just pull the wire and the light comes on. I love the one I have.

Yes to the lamps. Just sell them separately. Your Goodwill has such great things and prices. We don't have it like that at ours in Tomball Texas. Only things on the top of the clothes racks. No racks of just items. I hate it like that! Love it that you and Roger have such different things that you pick up to sell. ❤

yes i would buy the Boudoir lamps, i love that they are not the same, pink on the Female side easy peasy, and of course the are cheap and cute at the same time.
I like the small wicker chairs to use as plant stands. They look cute bundled in 3’s, especially if they’re 3 different sizes. I loved the Victorian light shades, even if they are 2 different colors. Someone may want to buy just one. I like the fact that you can clip them on to your headboard. I also love the wicker wall shelf you got. Great finds today! P.S- I would’ve left the body scrub & room spray behind, too! I personally don’t like to put anything with artificial coloring on my body. 😊

Karen, I haven't been getting notices when you have new videos but so glad I found you again! Your videos are always so interesting, informative and inspiring! Do you ever go to the Goodwill Bins? The "removeable" wallpaper isn't always very easy to remove FYI.
It is always nice to have two pairs of eyes, because on such full carts you are missing stuff. I know that so I always make two rounds. Not that my thriftstores are as full as yours. It is not like that in the Netherlands, but I find good stuff nevertheless. 👍🏼🙂

That large "Easter basket " would be an awesome planter on a patio and the chargers are beautiful as wall decor in a collage.
I love the idea your kids had. Even now sometimes I wish when I get somewhere I would be the only one there and I get to choose whatever I need and leave the rest.

First time watching you, enjoyed it, like the feeling you give off. As far as those two lamps, I don't like them at all myself, but I have a feeling they would sell very well. I would not put them both out at the same time, just one after the other one sells. Otherwise people will see it as a mismatch pair. But if they never see but one, they will be perfectly happy to find it. Lovely video.
Sooooo nice to be there without the crowds. 😀 We are iced in in N Alabama. I wish it was just snow. Everything is closed. Blue is a very trendy color this year so those bowls should sell.
If I had a booth, I probably would have picked up some of those nice red candles to display on the nice candle holders for sale in the booth. Probably would have charged for the candles separately. I would have bought some for myself as well.
I love those headboard lamps!!! I used to have one of those in forest Green....it wasnt that fancy ....but it broke during a move 😢 years ago! 👍
It's possible that one of the lamps was used and one was not so much, which may explain the coloration difference from the heat and glow of a light bulb. I feel you passed up a good buy on that large woven basket that you picked up early in the video that would have sold well in your booth ... It was especially well made, sturdy and would never paint such a lovely finish. At least I would have bought it if I'd seen it in your booth for $20 or more.

My dream to be the first to get to pick the carts !! One of my favorite Goodwill has multiple people waiting for carts like myself . And sometimes I get the good things but not always . You know you have a good item when you get remarks like that's great . You really scored lol love it love it love it !!! You always get some great and unusual items to flip . I don't think I've ever seen All Clad in my life but it's on my bucket list !

I believe that many resellers purposely relocate to the states that have the best Goodwill and thrift stores. Pennsylvania appears to be one of the states that has superior choices for resellers.
I really, REALLY need to go to your Goodwill because for the most part your prices are what Goodwill used to be and should STILL be! Great stuff ❤

So fun- I felt the rush of excitement! Those headboard lamps- I’ve had those and used them then sold them! They are great for reading if your headboard is tall. You both are just so cute❤
Pink Panther: the Pink Panther Image on a Carhartt cap isn’t surprising because the Pink Panther has been used for decades by the Owens Corning company to promote their construction industry products like roll and batt home insulation. That cap was likely a event promo or trade show giveaway, since many construction workers outfit themselves in Carhartt gear. I used to get similar hats back when I’d attend promo events for contractors, put on by suppliers, but the hats then were rarely of the Carhartt quality.
I have never commented on one of your videos but have watched you for years and do hit the "like" button.. I am in awe of your inventory system and basement and of you!!! Something in this video made me want to comment and now I don't even remember what it was. Sending anyway. I built a climate controlled building in my back yard that is totally disorganized, as am I. I admire you so much for being able to "do it all"!!!

Hi Karen…I’m not sure if anyone mentioned it, but beneath all the Valentine’s items I. The bottom shelf there was a porcelain girl with a slots around her skirt; she is a linen napkin holder and some people use them to display vintage hankies. If you go back you should look for her. I’ve been dying to find one of those. Thank you for your awesome content!

You are mistaken about the folks not collecting their wine corks. They are repurposed for lots of things. That cat was adorable and would look great with corks in it

Most of our Goodwills (central MD) are on the small side here, but the one closest to me lets you look on the racks. They appreciate you picking out things before they have to stock them, lol. Boy, nothing like a pushy reseller. Pack your patience and stand your ground!
