My best friend & partner if 25 years past in 2015. I am so excited to have found you!! I'm absolutely reminded of the things Phillip and I use to do!! Thank you for the big smiles I'm smiling right now! I love you both! I will be watching! Much love to everyone, everywhere! Have fun & please be safe! The R's from Arizona
Since 1990, I traveled all over the world and collected silk scarves wherever I went because they were light, easy to pack and functional. Now I'm selling my collection of 500+ vintage silk scarves online so others can enjoy them as much as I do! But I'm keeping my Johnny Was, Hermes and a few others - just can't let those go.
The lighthouse painting was Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, Maine (a very beautiful, affluent town). It's beloved here and is the most photographed lighthouse in the world. It would be great for a booth here in Maine, for sure. I need to thrift in PA! ☺
Karen, Has Roger’s business/ profit increased since he is on your videos? You two go so beautifully together a stunning couple. Wishing you both a life of happiness, love and good health always. 💕🤗
I really enjoy your enthusiasm for thrifting! Your excitement level when you find hidden treasures is contagious and extremely endearing. Thank you for all your work to bring us these videos.
A little piece of HEAVEN. You got that spot on. Beautiful art work. Oh I never would have imagined you liked horses 😊. As a matter of fact my Rocket [ he was quarter horse sorrel gelding ] I had him for 8 years until he went to heaven in 2014 😥Mariachi the Palomino in the photo with me I got him in 2015, 😊 He's also a gelding, but once in a while he thinks he's still a stud around mares 🤣😅😂. Great video Karen, and if you ever take a road trip to Montana, we should be opening our huge store front in a couple of weeks, 90% vintage, everything from estate cleanouts, from furniture , art, hard goods to clothing. Great prices too
Love the artwork! I agree I wouldn't change out the mat. They had some pretty pictures at different places you went. Loved the matador and the beautiful platter. I use platters under my potted plants. They look good.
Karen, you know you should always take the big cart because Rodger won't do it and most of the stuff that he picks out goes in your cart so getting a cart every time should be the norm. And I'm very surprised that you did not get the two blankets in the linen section as I think you missed out on those sorry
Sunday mornings! I always enjoy coffee & a leisurely breakfast & going thrifting with Karen & Roger! Like you Karen, I have waited to put up artwork in my new place in the city as I transition from my Rocky Mountain rustic home. Between thrifting & pcs that I have been gifted from artist friends/family ~ there is quite a selection. The horses on your office wall look awesome & your painting in the Dining Room is perfect for that wall. Life is better enjoyed surrounded by 'Art'! Patty 🖼🎨💕 Alberta 🇨🇦🍁
Hello Karen & Roger, Your dining room picture is fantastic. Absolutely breathtaking. What a great find. Love watching the two of you thrift together. What a great team you are. I must say Roger you are hitting it out of the ballpark. Great finds, you definitely know your stuff. Great Job Both of You!
Tag is an upscale brand. I live in a very posh town, and a few stores carry it they make table linens and table ware. Ties are hard to sell since COVID, people work from home and the world has become more casual as well.
I just love this couple! I was skeptical at first when I first came across the channel. Only because I only buy and resell vintage. You guys are probably my favorite channel now. The respect you have for one another and Karen, you’re just so damn cute and classy! Roger is just a catch! Y’all are so lucky to have each other. ❤️
I always smile to myself when I’m thrifting because I hope to learn and become aware of quality items. But the items I feel or just like upon sight end up being Cato, Walmart and/or JCPenney. Oh well, thank goodness I can read tags. lol.
Your artwork goes so well with your beautiful home!!! I admire your self discipline in waiting to get what you love. I do think that if you’d gotten ‘you’ in the black and white skirt, ‘Roger’ in the sweater vest and the chicken for a small shelf somewhere in your office, you’d have a laugh every day. Thanks for sharing your shopping. Take care and thanks for always being cheerful and sweet. Your videos bring positivity to my day.
“ oh wow, I don’t even know which way to look first” That made me laugh, because I have said the same thing when I walk into a thrift store that has marvelous merchandise!
Bierstadt is featured in the Gene Autry Los Angeles Western Museum. I've seen his work, having shot a small film in the museum. Being a native Californian, I've lived up and down the State and have been to many of his places. He "advertised" the West by his paintings. The scale of the big vistas were always larger than what existed and he combined or fictionalized parts of his paintings, making Sierras look like Mt. Everest in size, with all "craggy" tops which mostly exist in Montana mountains, except Mt. Whitney area. He still does lovely work. Glad you love him. I like him. California doesn't completely look like what he painted. You-tube him...
My thoughts exactly! Mass production cheap pieces like that are awful. Originals by anyone breathe life onto your walls. I’m in OK where HL is headquartered so our GW’s are filled to the rim with that crap… too many talented people in the world to not try and possess originals. I love watching this couple, they are so cute together and happy love doing what they do together.
I saw original art by Albert Bierstadt at the American Museum of Western Art in Denver, Colorado last summer-it’s ethereal. Your patience definitely paid off and you’ll enjoy looking at that print for years to come. What a find!! xo
I used to live in Lansdale and I still have things I bought from the Salvation Army on broad street (gone now) but this store wasn’t here then. 2nd ave is in North Wales and care & share is AMAZING in Souderton.
Framing costs a fortune, I think I would just rematte the print. It looks professionally done, so this is another reason I would keep the frame. It looks beautiful in your dining room, enjoy. Glad to hear you are leaving it the way it is👏
I love all the same stuff that you do. And I love your videos. They are so fun to watch and thank you! You're right; the dining room art looks great just the way it is, now that we can see it in its new home!
Ohhhhh how I love Sundays & Wednesdays when Karen posts a new video! Can’t wait to watch!! ❤ Edit- your new art work is stunning. I knew it was yours by your reaction to it as soon as you saw it😊. When you know, you know!!
Beach Basket… green tag was AMAZING and can sell for $85 at Swoozie’s with all the Pom Pom charms etc. Been watching for years and this is only the second item I would’ve bought… other one was a Portmerion Botanical Teapot 🫖 Love your channel!!!💕🌸
Well hello to my favorite couple, Mr & Mrs Lavender Leazin 💜😂😂😂. What a wonderful video this Sunday. Thank you both for taking us thrifting in FOUR different stores. Karen, I am glad for you, to finally find the perfect painting(print) to hang in your dining room. And, it looks great there ❤ Blessings to you both, Dorothy from Boston, Ma.❤❤❤❤
We went to dinner in a town about an hour from our home last night. Of course, I had to stop by GW, with only 30 minutes to shop til closing. Your girl filled a cart!!! I was channeling you AND Roger…🤣🤣🤣
OMgolly, Karen, I had that jaws shirt that Roger is wearing. I was in the 7th grade when the movie came out. Rabbit hole LOL. Wear it to school and had to tape over the lady on top swinging because she was nude, her top was very graphic. I’m 60 now , that shirt brought back a funny moment. Love u guys. Great info videos
Roger is cool, he likes retro shirts, sports and old games, and Karen of course his face lights right up. Karen finds treasures all right. I love this show!
Nice thrifting day. Your new vintage picture looks good, it would of cost a lot to reframe , you could always just change the matting later if you want.
Hi Karen, I just started this video with you. I hope you do go to the bins next door! I don't try to do it all...I usually just find one bin that looks interesting and stay there, digging through it all...to the very bottom and I may find something, or even something great. I've never left empty handed LOL. When you showed the big painting you sold I remembered that. I was always thinking what I'd like to see, more than going thrifting in a store with you every time is a end of quarter wrap up...best finds, best sales, what you learned to do, not to do. It might take more time to put together but I don't get to see all your videos and a "highlights" would be great. It can be short like only 10 things, 5 finds, 5 sales which might be the same - or not LOL. Right now I am listing dresses I found at my local GW rack store. They were 5.99 which was very unusual for that store...most start at 7.99. I bought 17 of them!? I hope they do well. Ok getting back to your video now while I list some of these.
I know that tote was large, shipping nightmare, But for a Mother with kids, perfect!!! Coming into summer swim lessons, trips to the pool and beach, Nana and Papa's pool!! Any mother could fill up that awesome bag in a New York Second!!! Just saying!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
We love to see you in our Montgomeryville / Lansdale area! Thanks for stopping!

So glad Roger is getting more comfortable in front of the camera! Enjoyed the video!
I think the clear glass dish at 10:55 is for deviled eggs. There are 12 "holes" that are shaped like eggs. Would be nice on a table for Easter.
Thanks, never would have thought about it like that
Karen, Has Roger’s business/ profit increased since he is on your videos? You two go so beautifully together a stunning couple. Wishing you both a life of happiness, love and good health always. 💕🤗
Good question, it’s very sweet the way he talks in Karen’s videos; he’s not forcing it and it’s natural, great video!
I don’t think so 😊
What business does he have? Are they married?
@@AmandahugginkizzThey are married. He sells on Ebay

That oriental print cover-type thing is a tea cozy. It is used to cover a teapot with freshly made tea in it to keep it from cooling off.
Oh! The long picture with the birds!! I'd buy that!
Yes I wish you had bought that as well
I loved the mother and child artwork, I was surprised you didn’t picked it up
Loved the Madonna and Child at the first store❤
"WE love a good big will" lol❤ yes we do!!!
😂😂I caught that too! Yes we do!!
My newest saying
Tag is a brand….I love it. Sort of like Creative Co-op.
The big pottery piece is mainly for serving. You can bake something in the oven with it but no stovetop.

You were very lucky to find a A. B. print. I have been looking much longer to find one. He is my favorite Hudson River Valley artist. Congrats.
"Is this a Toaster Cozy or a Hat"...That's a phrase I never thought I'd hear either...I really laughed out loud on that one! 🤣

Another fantastic video. So happy for you to have found the artwork for your dining room. It's beautiful
I love pictures when I had my house now selling on facebook moved to 55 or older no room 😊
I Look at the buckles not at the belt first. It’s much easier to spot quality.
That picture is everything . I can see why you bought it. It looks great hanging on your wall.
Always , always grab the big cart.
So happy u found a piece of artwork for yourself ❤
Consider checking museum glass for your art. It’s worth it for favorite pieces.
Beautiful art find for you

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I learn just as much in the comment as from the videos. 💜
I loved the frameless painting hanging that had a yellow background with a vase and red flowers!
Love your print you found today. As often as you come across beauties like this I would never go to Hobby lobby 🥰

I was totally getting swept up in your excitement over your painting!
Roger is doing intros now. 😄 Gotta love it. Also, the bedroom is stunning. Thanks for another great video.
Loved the big beach basket and that blue casserole dish.
I had that blue house picture in a white frame. Loved it till we remodeled & changed our colors!
Beach Basket… green tag was AMAZING and can sell for $85 at Swoozie’s with all the Pom Pom charms etc.
Been watching for years and this is only the second item I would’ve bought… other one was a Portmerion Botanical Teapot 🫖

I loved that large beach basket!!
I don’t think someone would pay over 25.00 to ship ( oversized)
Would be a good buy for your antique booth
Unless, you can only sell vintage. The antique mall I'm in lets you sell practically anything!
Enjoying your road trip , the clear glass pedestal dish pattern looks like a one eyed owl!
