The hunt is real! I spend hours and hours each week, combing through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions & flea markets ... to bring home the goods and prepare them for selling in my Ebay store, and on Facebook Marketplace, which fully supports me.

The wooden dish with music box is from Germany. Edelweiss bloom carved on top.
Used for cookies. When the plate is picked up to pass it plays Edelweiss. From 1960s

Hi, Karen! I just received my 4 Syroco wall 4 seasons plaques!!! Love them.I’m waiting to hang them until I get my bedroom and bath repainted. All 4 were packed very well. I’m so excited!

If it was me and I met the glass artist I would’ve bought a couple pieces from him and had him sign his name and date on the bottom of each piece in exchange for me purchasing the pieces, like have him scratch his name on the bottom or just his initials and date. Just an idea. Love your videos! Long time subscriber here!

I have never met anyone her age that looks that fabulous and is brilliant at living life and enjoying life,and what a find that wonderful Roger is,me and my sister's are in our sixty's and nope,none of us can take on all that she does,she's amazing,adore her and Roger and her sweet daughter.

@@LindaKayHolevas , I have dry eye disease from Hashimotos Thyroiditis,and started using organic castor oil on my eyelids,it has helped a lot,it's the one for your lashes and eyebrows in the makeup section at Walmart.
Great tip: grab all the $2 swim suits at Goodwill! Here in Arizona, it has been $1 Thursdays for years, but I heard they are going to $2 also. Thank you for this educational video. God bless you!

Great prices at the garage sale! Love how that seller at Root's had little basil plants for sale; it really add a European flavor. Love when you do pulls, Karen. Those 2 blouses looked so much alike, it was easy to confuse them.

Im a little bit jealous of you! I live in Northernwestern Oklahoma where we have wind and blowing tumbleweeds 🤦🏻♀️. Of course we have a couple of garage sales in my hometown of 700 people, so when i say "a couple" i really mean 2 garage sales that are over with by 10 am 🙅🏻♀️
I haven't been to a garage sale in 15 years and have never been to a flea market! There's zero, zilch, nada flea markets around here or within 150 miles!

I have seen where a woman started a business selling tumbleweeds,it started as a joke,but then it took off and was successful, people sent pictures in on how they decorated them for Christmas.

I would have gotten the weird shaped blown glass that the man blew. So cool and only $5 for ooak!! Stunning. I was surprised when he said he blew it. I also love monkey pod and have a bunch to list!! That tray was beautiful.

Little painted toll tray reminds me of the trays the waitress would bring to the restaurant table, with the bill, back when you paid for the meal with cash, before credit cards came into common use.
Chinese Sailing Ship: I liked the drawing of the Chinese rigged Junk, with the battened sails. I used to see them in Hong Kong harbor during port visits. The way they rig the sails on a Junk is very interesting.

That plate you passed up was an oyster plate. Worth a lot of $. Rare to find.
Hi Karen, sometimes having the original frame with artwork increases the value a lot, even if it's a bit on the ugly side. Some art, like Tretchikoff prints, can be easily double if you have that old frame chosen by the artist on it. Check before you change or discard the frames people 🌼

Those colored glass oil lamps were very pretty and caught a glimpse of a clear one at the 5:50 mark that I would have grabbed as well . Also, the vintage looking little scale at 7:14 was adorable.

i made this comment and twice it has been removed. Not sure why. i'm trying to let you know about the gold rimmed cake plate with the ruffle incase you see it again in the future. the maker of this art glass is called- ANNIEGLASS. You would see it signed and dated and comes in platinum and gold and sells for a lot of money. besides the cake plate there are regular dinner plates that are very large and they are all very heavy.

I don't know how you manage to do so much with ONE HAND! I detest having to take glasses on and off. A solution to needing "reading glasses" is to get prescription, graduated, tri-focal ("NO-LINES") lens eyeglasses from an ophthalmologist. They are not inexpensive, BUT you can have 3 different prescriptions on each lens, specific to each eye's need. Over-ther-counter "readers" do not accommodate for prescription differences in your two eyes. I need only reading/computer glasses, so the top third of my eyeglass lenses are non-prescription ("clear") for driving, the middle third is for computer-distance work and the bottom third is for reading a phone or a book. It takes a bit of time to adjust to wearing them, but you can put them on and wear them all day if you like.
Quite awhile back you bought a cute rejoice plaque,but I could never find it in the search.

Wicker Bench: I would say for it’s for young children. Once you added a 3-4” thick cushion, it would be about the right for small children. Even a bench made for adults is only about 16” high, to the seat top.

@@angeladol6140 Could very well be for dolls, since they are about interchangeable (if well built to take the weight) for a big doll and a 2 year old. I have sold many doll benches and rockers over the years and the scale/size varies with the intended doll size. When my grown daughters were little, I made a few cradles and high chairs for their favorite dolls.
At time 12:32 those brownish ceramic birds were California Clemenson Distlefink. Not huge money

Hi Karen, I've been following you for a while. I love your videos. I know you are really busy with the remodel and upcoming wedding, but I'm hoping that you can help me.I am stumped. I've seen you buy quilts, and you seem to know a lot about them. Homemade quilts are definitely outside my comfort zone. My question is, how can I research the beautiful quilt I bought? The things that grabbed me were the 3x3 1" pierces that are part of the squares and the hand quilting. Almost perfectly straight lines of hand stitches and embroidery type stitches around the outside.
It looks like it is 85"×67"? 9x9" squares with 2.25" stripes between. My crude measurements could be off. I've only found a few flaws where the fabric has frayed or stitches that have broken, but with a quilt this busy, it isn't easy.
I would start with a Google image search for pattern and then research how to tell high quality hand stitching VS overseas mass manufactured
