  • As always, thank you for watching!
    This came up a little late! The next one will be uploaded much quicker ^^;
This one was a lot of bin diving in different used stores, but I think it's a fun mix. Let me know in the comments if you've seen any of these.

.Hack Legend of Twilight was one of the first manga I discovered when I got into manga. I never read it but it still makes me nostalgic.
I have that same Pumpkin Scissors boxset! We ought to do a buddy watch so we can talk about it

Thats so cute ^^ It is funny when even seeing something from your early read/watch days brings back memories. Oh I would love that! Especially if we can buddy watch it ^^

I loooove Diebuster. It has some of my favourite character designs in anything ever. Seems to be a really marmite show though. Curious what you'll think of it.
Soul Eater is something I need to get around to. It somehow passed me by, despite my being its exact emo-kid demographic when it came out.

Excellent, I love hearing when people enjoyed shows I haven't yet seen (makes me excited to finally watch for myself haha) and yes! The designs are so sleek, just from what I've seen of the show and even when I was flipping through the little booklets here. Looks fantastic.
Soul Eater is just fun, it has a good dose of creepy mixed with some really silly. It's a big range of emotions but somehow works well together. Give it a couple of episodes to really get going though haha. The nice thing is how it will always be around, so you can get to it whenever.
      Thanks!

Ah! Yugo The Negotiator I remember buying that anime on rightstuf way long time ago lol. I remember enjoying what I saw. Think the premise was interesting. Some moments bored me a little but a decent watch imo. Zetman I remember seeing clips and dvds for that anime. Always thought it looked really cool, it gave me a bit of a guyver vibes. Great pickups Val!

I never expected to even find Yugo the Negotiantor, so this one was crazy to run into for me ^^ I'm happy to hear it's good!
Guyver vibes! What a good way to describe Zetman, man I need to watch it still, lol
      Thanks Ronin!

Now that Ash's jouney has ended I'm flirting with the idea of eventually making my way through more than just the original 276 episodes of Pokemon. I doubt I'll ever do it but I didn't really expect Ash's journey to ever end so maybe? lol
Blood Lad has really great style and art, I enjoyed it at the time.
I used to own Living for the Day After Tomorrow but never got round to watching it before I sold it. It has always stuck in my mind though so hopefully one day I'll try it. Is only 12 episodes afterall.
Oh Zetman is pretty cool! Basically a tokusatsu inspired show (no surprise) but with a quite mature story. It's quite bloody in places.
Yugo the Negotiator is a good series, basically has two arcs and yeah the second half is stronger. I liked it, certainly a more unique series.
I'm planning to watch Aim for the Ace, then Gunbuster and then the sequel lol. Should be fun, can't wait for the Gunbuster Blu Ray to come through.
Love love love Pumpkin Scissors as I probably mentioned previously but yeah it is a great show. Oreldo is so cool and the military designs are just great. Pumpkin Scissors has been cheap forever, like you say sometimes those older Funimation sets cost the earth and sometimes they cost less than lunch lol. Fortunately Pumpkin Scissors is great so it was worth it either way.
Those .hack sets have been on my to get list for ages, I should try to get them soon. I have fond memories of Legend of Twilight, it sorta broke down some walls for me with Anime. I watched Sign and while I liked it somewhat it didn't really impress me overall but I decided to watch Legend of Twilight since I had that also (these were both old artbox sets). I was pretty unsure about Twilight, the character designs are obviously on the cuter side, the artbox was bright pink and I just remember being childishly embarassed somewhat to have this set. Anyway I watched the show and frankly had a great time with it, fair to say I left any and all those childish preconceptions behind lol. This was like way back in 2008 I think, pretty early on in my fandom. I have watched Sign's first episode again not that long ago and I totally agree on the atmosphere of the series, genuinely think I would like the show much more now compared to back then.
Ah Soul Eater, one of those series that I just never fell in love with despite wanting to, though it's very good for sure. Loved the OPs and especially the Stance Punk ending. I'm probably one of the few people out there who loved Excalibur, I remember thinking oh man this character is redeeming my enjoyment of this show and then I looked online and it was like his inclusion was bringing about the endtimes or something lol
    Great Haul Val!!
