Fallout 76 is the type of game that you can get really into and put many hours into it, but as soon as a different game grabs your attention the hardest thing in the world is to get back into the game. I would know.
Fomo from needing to complete each season's is the only thing that keeps me from coming back, then I have a break until the next one comes out. There has been 12 seasons. I'm an scoreboard addict and I've completed all of them and been played since beta during the dark ages, level 930. Forever trapped, time is a flat circle, send help.
@@generic_tough_guy.4830 I believe I took like a 2 year hiatus from the game because I got back into COD for a while, then I got BF2042 and I enjoyed that more than most people. Then there was the Destroy All Humans remake that I just had to play because it brought back childhood memories, and then finally I just had to play GoW Ragnorok and to that I did. And it was only until about 3-4 months ago that I only got back into the game. But I again find myself in the same situation as before. I’m now playing through Fallout NV, finishing my playthrough of Jedi Fallen Order, and I haven’t even got halfway through Horizon: Forbidden West. Oh and Jedi Survivor, Starfield, and Spider-Man 2 are coming out soon.
Let me tell you in my opinion the best video on this channel is the Gauss Shotgun overpowered build. I don’t know why but that video had me in tears 😂. He was just one shotting every single enemy that came in his path. Plus it was really cool that he left a link to show us how to use the build(I mixed it with my own set of power armor & endurance cards). That shotgun isn’t as powerful as it used to be but it still packs quite a punch. It’s the main gun I use for everything(Plus it helps that I have a two shot Gauss shotgun) lol 😂

It all feels so lame and unfulfilling. Except that Bow and Arrow. A little bit of Skyrim in Fallout, Hell yes.

GRIND, grind G R I N D. Go back to Mantis, meditate and repeat. Do this on Jedi Master difficulty skip that story mode and Jedi Knight levels. Get every force power and upgrade, progress story and have enough saved up Force Points to buy everything. Now play on Jedi Grand Master difficulty. You are now a God.
Can't believe 76 is already 5 years old. I still vividly remember the reveal stream and getting bitterly disappointed to learn that it's gonna be a multiplayer game lmao
it will be interesting to see what they do for fallout 5, whether its solo only or some hybrid multiplayer, like small grouping only. it will feel so different being in an open world by yourself after playing 76.
i actually really enjoyed 76 after the wastlanders update which really helped the main story up to lvl 30, breaking into a vault with a giant drill, and discovering the remnants of the secret service protecting the U.S's gold supply was super interesting and fun. just wish there was more interesting main story content beyond all of that.
The game would be a lot better if it didint force you to dart around the map at all times but the game itself is actually suprisingly good despite it's reputation
pve content can only keep the game alive for some time but godly qol updates and mechanic changes , balances paired with pvp events or gamemodes can keep the game alive for years so you got three choices pve and maybe qol updates qol updates , balances and pvp updates milkin the game with recycled skins with different color schemes
@@johnmcguire5212 The department that works on updating F76 is separate from the one that makes their singleplayer games, making ES6 and Starfield wont affect F76's development and neither will F76's development slow down any of their other games
One thing I will say I loved about 76 (I haven’t played in like a year but still) it’s oddly inclusive. Like any time I played a a nuke would be launched it’ll always be in the bottom right corner bc that’s the highest leveled place, and it doesn’t interrupt newer players. Plus if you go to a railroad station you’re likely to find recipes because a lot of people drop repeated recipes in the suitcases for newer players. Hell one time I started a new character and someone had a safe zone space for new players on the main road that offered armor and weapons for cheap, and was lined with turrets so you’d be safe
@@CrackedConker if players are just dropping plans to get their weight down they would drop them on the floor, it's an extra step to place them in the suitcases. I 100% do it so people can find plans they don't have. who pissed in your pancakes?
It's funny, pretty much every facet of the Fallout community will say the most outright vile things about Fallout 76 and its players like they haven't had 5 years to get over it when the actual '76 playerbase is probably the most wholesome, chill, and welcoming group of people within the larger community

I am really surprised that 76 has survived this long. It’s cool that Bethesda didn’t just drop it after a couple of updates(which is a tradition for EA). Actually the main reason why I play this game is because of Kevduit & Oxhorn(and I thank you both 👍🏼). The stories and gameplay of 76 are really fun. I still play it today. Plus the music is pretty addicting
@@VeraTheTabbynx just ignore them. Oxhorn is a cool guy and he makes amazing fallout lore videos. He covers a lot of details in every game. He’s currently doing the full story of fallout 4(so far he’s almost done with the institute)
I tried to play 76 about 3 times in the past, and never could get into it, but i tried again a couple months after the Pitt came out and ended putting 90+ hours in and ended up loving and its now one of my favorite Fallout games. My only big problem is the lack of story updates/expansions because i loved Wastelanders,Steel Dawn, and the small bit in the Pitt, but it leaves me wanting more
I started playing FO76 again. Its actually fun now and i finally get smooth frames. Also, they added freecam mode for when you are building! That makes it so much easier and better
Hordes like 90% of the time spawn in the location that the enemy type typically spawns in, so if you know your enemy spawns then it's easy to find the hordes.

When they announced they were removing legacies, there was a few weeks where it seemed like every legacy user was using fatman's and grenade launchers to grief people in protest. The subreddit was complaining for weeks about it too, the screen shaking setting was directly caused by it all.

I started with 76 in early 2023, as it was 50p at my local game shop. I played, and had a blast. When I saw him killing mutants with the Cold Shoulder... it really brought me back to when I first got a fast firing weapon. I felt unstoppable.
i think an online fallout game is a good idea but it was executed terribly because it would be better if it was a co-op story that you invite friends to instead of being in an public lobby, because open world online games only work if it has a private lobby mechanic or is only a private lobby game unless its something like knights of the old republic or dc universe online because thats what the game is about.
I play on Xbox and the events are usually pretty full for the most part. The nuka world events are pretty fun and when the mutation events are going on it’s always pretty good. And you get the chance to get REALLY rare, nearly impossible to get, plans! This season is a bit of a snooze fest so I’m having trouble getting the score board done.

I go back to 76 every scoreboard... I like it and the rewards are definetly getting a lot better. It's a fun game for about 1, maybe 2, hours a day. It's easy to play alongside whatever your main is at the time.
horde is always located at natural spawn for the monster type. for example. if u have a super mutant horde and one of the possible place is grafton. just go to grafton because thats where super mutants naturally spawn. its garunteed to be in a natural spawn .
I never would have thought that anyone could have fucked up the ranger power armor but bethesda actually managed to do this, props to them for suprising me again
This goes for all Bethesda games but more for 76 since It doesn't have a grounded storyline like the others the story is there it just isn't as gripping as f3 or new vegas

It's baffling to see how few players are playing when he does these videos. Usually it's a madhouse at events when I play. Especially the Public Mutation Events. Absolute chaos with 20-30 players in a confined area.
I tried revisiting this game recently. Can't get into it. The grind is so insufferable. I don't know how there are people who have the tolerance to slog through this shit long enough to get to level fucking 800, let alone 100. I just can't do it. It's not fun enough to warrant that much dedication. There are so many better games out there that are more worth it.
This game feels like a fever dream. Cluttered confusing with no sense of continuity or direction. Hard to believe its even in the same Franchise as 2 3 and Fallout NV.
Everytime Kev uploads a Fallout 76 video, I feel the urge to redownload the game, I do, I play the game for about a week, then delete it. It's a rough cycle.
Coming from ESO, FO76 felt like a game demo. It's 4 years old and barely has enough storylines to last 50 hours of gameplay. I would not recommend it, if you're paying more than 10 bucks.
Speaking of how long we are from fallout 5 it still blows my mind I remember seeing rumors about Bethesda scouts in Boston like 5 years before fallout 4 even was announced

One of the biggest QoL updates you missed was the ability to finally turn screen-shaking off. It makes explosions and staggers much less annoying.

I think it is a combo of things. But namely, it didn't seem like he was playing with ppl who vibe with him well enough? I could be wrong.

Coming from ESO, FO76 felt like a game demo. It's 4 years old and barely has enough storylines to last 50 hours of gameplay. I would not recommend it, if you're paying more than 10 bucks.
Speaking of how long we are from fallout 5 it still blows my mind I remember seeing rumors about Bethesda scouts in Boston like 5 years before fallout 4 even was announced
