Fallout 4 was always one of those games that you tell yourself that you will play for like 30 min, then you end up playing for over 8 hours, most of which you are just messing around
It's quite the opposite for me actually.
That was the case for Fallout 3 and New Vegas but whenever i feel like playing Fallout and try to give Fallout 4 a go, i usually spend 1 hour modding it to make it playable and then spend 1 hour or 2 of boring dialogues to just realize that it isn't enjoyable in the least and i would rather play the previous ones. :/
I'd love to enjoy the game but it just has too many flaws compared to its predecessors.
Fo4 is great but it definitely doesn’t beat fo3 or fnv
fallout 4 was my first fallout game, turned it off after the bombs dropped and i woke up in the vault
@@biodidu25yah the only reason I spend so long on fallout 4 is because of modding it, cause without the mods I think I would have given up on 4 along time ago, haven’t played the previous fallouts in a while, but Ile have to play them again soon

Ah, it's exactly as I remember it in 2015: totally vanilla with no crazy mods making it weird.
I am just waiting to see how badly the next gen update will break all the mods.
Probably make this look good in comparison.

I dont remember much of my first fallout 4 playthrough but the one vivid memory i have is of my first ever legendary weapon, an explosive pipe revolver i got from a ghoul. Made me fall on love with revolvers in games and carried me throughout my whole playthrough.

This game will always have a special place in my heart because my uncle died the day it came out and I proceeded to sink 200 hours into it in less than 2 weeks. Helped me get through tough times

My first fallout 4 playthrough I sided with the railroad, and at the end of the game, when you blow up the institute, Deacon was standing there in his underwear watching the bomb go off and that has always the been the vibe i associate with fallout 4 and this video captures that amazingly 😂

Holy hell, 9 years! It feels like just yesterday I was waiting 50 years to wait for this game to download on my tin can PC powered by 2 fucking lemons.
I have so many hours put into Fallout 4. I've barely ever touched the story. Only time I really did was when I first got the game. Then...I got into installing mods. Now I kinda just play the game like a weird Fallout life sim.
Wander off in a random direction after spawning in using an alternate start mod to skip the intro. Find a nice place to build a home, using another mod to let me make a new base anywhere I want. Then spend the next however many hours just wandering, and collecting stuff to put in my base. MAYBE occasionally doing a side quest or something if I bump into one.
7:22 I love that mod, and ANOTHER FROM THE HEAVENS… or irradiated skys.
3:02 - 3:44 I haven't seen this much democracy and freedom in one scene since Helldivers II came out

Love this game ( alongside F2, FTactics ), especially regarding the weight and feel of Power Armor. The HUD and the modularity of the armor with all the parts like T51, T60 etc Some thumping heavy metal! 🤘

Ayy, I was just playing heavily modded fallout 4. It crashed, I said "fuck it, that's enough" and now here we are.
If you want my best 3 recommended mods, that actually won't crash your game, they're Statue for River, Macho Claws and the You've done F'd up mirelurk sound replacer.
9:33 that's macho claws, btw. It gets funnier with the salem deathclaw mission.
Funnily enough, my first experience with fallout 4 was in the VR Port. Even more hilarious is that I had never seen anything about the fallout 4 ghouls, and somewhat peed my pants when I encountered them for the first time :)
I'm just bought some copies of new Vegas and fallout 3 after the show I wanted to go back to when I started loving this series and I'm so glad this show has breathed new life into this series

Deathclaw randy savages story always brings a tear to my eye, what a true vanilla moment
Laughed so hard when Preston told us about how another settlement needed our help that I nearly choked on a glass of milk

Visiting the Super Duper Mart was definitely among the more scarring moments of my first Fallout 4 playthrough 😂

I basically created a justice leauge with my companions. I had myself as the mechanist, cait as Grogna, RJ as The Silver Shroud and made a few up as I went. Made a hq at red rocket that had a lounge, power armour bay, comic "reading room" and a shit load of turrets. Nothing ever reached the walls. We also had vertibird transit for quick deployment. When you play fallout 4 as the Justice Leauge it is much more fun.

As someone who doesn’t know anything about fallout this was one of the most acid trip thing I have watched in a while
I started replaying on survival. There’s nothing like walking around for 30 minutes to get one shot by an alpha Mongrel and then starting it over again. Sneak is your best friend on survival.
