7600 hr is equivalent to ~316 days straight of nonstop playing. If someone decided to play for 8hrs a day like a real job, it would be 950 days of 8hr shifts.

I doubt that there’s anyone even with that challenge yet. I know people who have thousands of hours in games, but those are usually speed runners or they play games that are actually worth playing for that long

'this is one of the most messed up things I've done' precedes to lure people to his camp to make them wanted and kill them with nukes. I survived multiple nukes cause of my build hence why he had to shoot us. I was the one in the brasshelmt with the broom heads ontop at 12:55. I had so much fun helping with this.
I also helped with the exam and I loved how there were people fighting in the background for a good amount of the exam which forced kev to goto a private server... and when I say fighting they were arguing over wether the power armor user was cheating as he had so much damage reduction.
During the smores part we all tried to help Kev find the ingredients only to have kev give away too many smores and force him to make more man the server lost it, too bad he didn't put that in the vid

It's fun when you have 2 friends who have done most of the stuff and they hook you up with some things then you look up some quests after doing most of them then get nice power armor then realized there's nothing left in the game lmao

Got to be honest I have just now got back into 76 since it was released. I have had more fun in this game than I ever had. Starting new and playing with a friend or two has been a blast. I do know that one day like you it will end but right now I am definitely enjoying the ride.

the insane thing to me is that you know that the fucking stream took MANY hours and all he got from all of those challenges was basically the equivalent of $5.20. Honestly, i just with they'd bring back the atom rewards for daily quests, the seasons themselves are cool for giving, what, like, 15 bucks? but you could make like, a good extra 5-10 or so a week from challenges.

It's straight up stupid that with some of these you *can't reset them* or *any of them* to be able to continually earn atoms for free.
It would make the game playable if you're wanting something from the atomic shop but can't afford the atoms..
*Killing enemies with specific weapons and weapon types* would be a great example for resetting challenges
Yeah but if we could reset them then Bethesda would miss out on those delicious microtransactions in the atomic shop xD

It would be a grind to get 1800 atoms for the lastest Power Armor Skin or 1500 for a Camp Slot or Shelter, you could either spend a lot of time slowly grinding the challenges to earn enough free atoms to buy them or spend your money to get it then and there

You get free atoms from every scoreboard, though. Sure, it takes a while to amass thousands of them but it is possible.
I found that restarting with friends after a long break is alot of fun
I'm lucky, I met a endgame player who has been helping me with the game, the best part of this game definitely is the fun you have with friends.
I really do like how the map details look compared to the standard pipboy. The graphical detail is much cleaner than I thought it was as well

That test bit was the funniest thing I've seen today.
The "Build 7600 Structures" was surprisingly simple because it actually means "build 7600 walls, floors or roofs".
The biggest challenge is getting that far without getting annoyed at the stash limit.

It's a shame there really isn't a ton going on for 76. 80% of what's been added has been removed. The community is amazing and there could have been a lot done but it just really fell flat and is neglected.
This isn't destiny 2, they removed nuclear winter and legacies that's not '80%' of content by any means.
These videos hurt my soul now. I found Kev through Fallout 76. But my account got hit by one of those backdoor hackers a while back and they took all my shit and deleted my chars. I ended up getting my account back under control but the damage was done and Bethesda refused to do anything about restoring my account. Sigh I cant even watch these now.

I agree as well. I might reinstall it because of Kev even though I don't really like survival/grinders. The game did improve by a lot. Sadly not when it comes to the micro management aspect - as shown by the friends list, Jesus...

@@hermos3602 The beta was not my cup of tea. Since it was too much like Rust or Ark and too little like FO. But now it's pretty enjoyable it they keep adding story content paid only through the atom shop. But boo, evil incompetent Bethesda! Right?

Even just running around playing with friends is what I find fun about the game. Yeah the story isn’t the best but hoping into discord and just talking to people hours on end doing events is something I enjoy about the game

I remember when jumping down from mountains killed me. Good times. Now I jump down from the tower estates and walk it off.
I have said this elsewhere -- but I think when FO76 reaches end of life, there should be an event where the Enclave or Zetans or (other) get control of the nukes and totally destroy Appalachia. Players can log in one last time to see it all turn to ash in nuclear fire. That would fix any canonical errors and be a very Fallout ending to the game. The players could try to help or hinder the nuking force which would then have a slideshow for the choices they made (Maybe Knight Shin survives because you kicked him out of Appalachia), Maybe because you released Crane, he spreads the Scorch Plague elsewhere, etc.).

Two of the hardest challenges to do are revive players in water and use 3 stimpack diffusers as the plan is a very rare reward in the pharma event

Finally, Kevduit has found the FUN
There are some challenges you can complete in less than an hour if you know what to do, some to do in less than 20 minutes and some that... you just don't complete unless you make a decision to do just them for your foreseeable future, like the kills with specific weapons.
How do they not make the game better they could do so much
Ive been playing on and off since launch. The challenges are holy grail to me, keeps me coming back in a way, and for some reason, really reminds me of playing old Fallout games single player. All I play are Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, gave up on everything else, dont really have the time even for those but I dabble. Maybe ill see that 7600 challenge in a few years if its still active, cus I know I'll be playing I run through every game on console every few years. 🤣

There is fun along the way, although, it's limited, as I'm usually on my own. Sometimes I'll join a group, or join by a random person I met. I've been in a group that killed the Scorchbeast Queen.

To complete the 7600 hours, you would need to play 24/7 for nearly 317 days.
Sounds like you where having fun and i had fun with my friends till all the dumb Dlcs popped out i have to work so when I got back on during covid every enemies was too hard. Great content.

clearly the fun in fallout 76 is to play it with friends.
i have tons of fun just goofing around. i have a few good buddies i see daily. we do boss fights and regular stuff. we also have a lot of fun tampering with our stats and finding new ways to whupp asses. i hoard tons of weapons. i'm after those rare outfits. i trade legacys. i cheat a little. build glitch camps. i have several characters and play on 2 ps4s at once. this adds quite a bit of fun as well. i have a bunch of different builds. haven't messed with junkie yet but pretty much everything else including "bloodzerker." the funnest part of all is meeting cool new players (some are NOT cool) and helping them on their way. i just figured out the "attack camp" today. this is super silly with 2 ps4s. there's a lot of haters and "whateverers" out there, but i love 76.
