After i watched the Fallout show i have started playing again and dude its like actually so much fun. Maybe not a 10 out of 10 game but still its quite good right now.
Whatever you do DO NOT MOD this game. I had thousands of hours into it and had been running a mod that made things like magazines a different color so they were easy to see (as an older gamer with not the best vision this helped a lot). I had been using the mod for well over a year and had never had an issue/warning then was permabanned for using it. No first strike, no warning, no temporary ban. Just a heads up to anyone thinking about it.
So I recently got friends to try it out and I could say that I have given my fair share of time in 76 and have definitely seen most of the game could offer, have around like 1.3k hours in the game and at lvl 700. So when I got my friends in and showcased them I noticed that the starting area changed and they added new shit that I have never seen before since I don't really visit that part of the woods, so my group of friends ended up enjoying exploring again together, like how we found a cultist cave with blood rivers inside it.
My friend always makes new home in new spots and has the tendency of changing spots twice within a week and I've only built in four spots since launch and two of em are on ledge's of cliffs. Currently one is new a crashed airplane and overlooking a small Town in the center of a valley, yep just gonna pull a chair out and play a banjo to admire the view. It's not the best game but it's not a bad game... At least not nowadays assuming you got friends
I have to agree from playing the game since day 1 and seeing both it and the community grow has been weirdly nice, the community is genuinely filled with some of the nicest people in any MMO
I love 76 and have 350ish hrs in it, but the one thing they changed that I didn't really care for was making stuff no longer zone-leveled- makes everything a bullet sponge and means I don't really feel as powerful when I walk around in the Forest anymore. Maybe interiors could be leveled to the player, but the exterior enemies being all based on zones if they wanted to split the difference. But yea its one of my favorite games and imo the best modern Fallout game.
1:00 actually how the fallout community sees it LOLLL I personally think all the fallout are worth playing and awesome in their own way. Also remember the multiple delays for wastelanders ;-; Good times.
The community for this game has been so wholesome so far. I started brand new 10 days ago and I've been given free stuff, helped with clearing monsters and people messaging me saying if i need any help to just message them. I've never seen this from anywhere else besides maybe OSRS (Which can be toxic)
Eyyyy, that was a great overview. Cracked up at the part about things added and removed--imagine how much content if they didn't take out nuclear winter? Very real on the good stuff & flaws Thanks for including my Haunted House CAMP & you do great builds too!
I tried to get into 76 recently when it was on sale but it just didn’t click. It isn’t bad per se, but it doesn’t capture the same feelings as fallout 4, which it feels the most closely related to.

I played Fallout 76 when it came out and I lost faith in the series. I came back to it because it’s on game pass and the show, it’s night and day. It’s so enjoyable I actually got my gf into it and she’s never played a fallout game.
I’m old fashioned. I prefer offline games but F76 is a blast. I’m level 260, I’m excited for the brand new map, & it’s fun giving new players some extra stuff. The 76 community is really cool. The main story is repetitive but the lore of Appalachia and the DLC stories are pretty good.
Fallout 76 is absoultely not going to be for everyone, but I firmly believe that it has become a truly good (possibly even great) game. Yes, it absolutely deserved to get dunked on relentlessly for it's abysmal launch. But, people who STILL insist that Fallout 76 is terrible are full of shit, and likely haven't touched the game in years.

Kinda sad to think we’ll most likely never have another multiplayer fallout again. I love the other fallouts but there is something so amazing about being in a wasteland with other human being. It actually feels alive and it feels like it’s healing. Easily my top 5 games of all time.
My favorite part about FO76 is how limited the inventory is. Everything needs crafting components so you're constantly picking up junk but OOPS, your stash back at base is full. Not to worry though, you can just buy the Fallout 1st subscription and have unlimited storage space for crafting components! They literally created a problem and then sold people the solution. I can't get behind scummy tactics like that.
you know what you dont need like 80 weapons and different armors in there and you dont need thousands of mats if you wanna make something go out get the mats make it then go back out when you wanna make more shit also fallout 4's building much better than this, with mods cause fallout 4 has the settler system and the supply line systems like that which 76 doesnt and yes you can build these games and shops but for who to man those shops who's gonna play the games or instruments
Fallout 76 is pretty fun and the story is pretty interesting with the whole Scorched plague and the whole Mothman cult Pretty cool that Bethesda actually saved the game instead of abandoning it like how most developers do if their live-service game fails

I was one of the few people who LOVED Fallout 76 at launch. Like, the art and sound were excellent, and it made many improvements to Fallout 4's gameplay.
Exactly i liked the lack of npc's as it gave a sense of desolation with you feeling like the last group still alive after the scorched wiped out everyone the holotapes allowed you to hear everyones hope when joining a faction then their slow defeat and final last stand

Like it looks better but no real end game as they slowly drip content whilst further pushing atomic store, sounds like at most they got it to F4 base level. Which while a massive improvement from start its still quite a deeply flawed game.
Agreed. That’s the reason why I stopped playing. Having a max cap of 1200 is ass. They basically force you to buy the subscription fee for unlimited space lol. I have a full storage and full inventory, I can’t even fast travel or go anywhere because I’m encumbered. This is literally why I picked Fallout 4 up a few weeks ago.

Nothing wrong with vanilla new Vegas. How are you so into 76 I can’t get into it. And the camps kinda sucks that you can’t keep the camp were you put it.
I started playing few years ago reached level 28 then stopped but I've picked the game back up recently and I'm hooked I'm now. I'm in the 80s for level and grinding for a jet pack for my power armour and the other usual stuff like gear weapons ammo caps etc. Although been struggling with the nuke mono whatever its called mine side quests and the people I've tried it (team+randoms) could just put a dent in it but we all kept dying and gave up. I realised that its probably best to wait it out for that or find a high level team. But overall really enjoying the game in its current state.
the problem with the other fallout games is that if you simply play long enough you become unstoppable. Not something a survival game like this is going for. It is essentially your levels and perks being a resource you need to manage instead of just growing indefinitely and snowballing you into no longer having any challenge in the game.
@@claytopolis I understand where you are coming from. I agree, it's good for the longevity of a game. But I come from RPGs where lvl 20 you are pretty much a god and you can smack dragons.🙂 I was a bit spoiled with Fallout 1,2,3, and especially 4 with no level cap.
I bought it back when it was 5 bucks, you can regularly find it on sale though and I have to say it still is one of the most fun games I've played in a while and I keep coming back for update. The player base for the most part are rather helpful and friendly which is odd considering the content, but hey its there! I can't count the amount of times when I started players just dumped crafted gear on me, or when I was doing a pipegun playthrough ("Wait you're building a build for those? On purpose?"). Id suggest playing it if you haven't, especially with the new influx of new players from the show.
I remember that Fallout 76 launched as a MMORPG that everyone had to roleplay in. The story that you experienced was one you had to make. Sounds like fun on paper but you have to understand the average gamer mentality. No one roleplays unless absolutely forced to, and most of the time they roleplay psychopaths because it's easier than building a well-thought character. I hate multiplayer roleplaying, but I might still get Fallout 76 to experience the world of post-apocalyptic Appalachia.
The "average gamer mentality" is of an absolute psychopath because the average person is an absolute psychopath and a dumb one, too. This is why sandbox games aren't as popular, because the average player would have to actually use their imagination.
Not really. The developers thought that the game wouldn't need NPCs because Fallout players would talk to each other. They really didn't understand the Fallout fan base. It's made up of introverts. The game became good after Bethesda accepted that and added NPCs to the 76.
In terms of gameplay I’d agree but in story idk. FO4 was very meh and FO3 had a pretty crappy ending without the dlc. Like imagine making a dlc just to correct your shitty ending 😭.
Honestly, I know it’s not 3 but after seeing players talking about New Vegas being better I decided to retry it. I can’t get into it sadly, Fo4 > 3 > NV
Is taking 5 or so years to become playable really worth celebrating? It's like you bought a brand new car, then had to wait years for all the parts and now you're able to drive it
Is it worth celebrating when someone who's been an addict from a young age finally manages to get clean after years even though a lot of people are clean their whole life?
you can just buy it, the microtransactions are just mostly cosmetics. there are some (very insignificant) p2w features like buying scrap materials and XP boosters type stuff, but they're just a waste of the premium currency to spend on
It's not pay to win. Atomic Shop items are 99% cosmetic and the remaining 1% of stuff are small boosts that they might give out for free daily. Everything else is earned through actually playing the game, completing quests and doing public events.
I havent played yet but ive heard that the community helps out newbies and there is a lot of collaboration. One can hope the real nuclear fallout would work like that.
What a like about fallout 76 and kinda fallout 4 is the talk about rebuilding and letting go of grudges. 76 and his storyline aint new vegas but seing community fight together after the bomb and fell is kinda like the player helping each other to keep the game till bethesda fix it
I still fucking hate it. It’s crazy to me how ppl see how expensive and ridiculous items are in the atom shop after paying for a game and say “I’m ok with this”
the atom shop is NOT the entire game you can absolutely play your entire playthrough without EVER opening the atom shop and you'll still most likely be well off by level 40-50
76 has been a pretty good game for a while. The Wastelanders Update was essentially the definitive release of the game. It began the rise to where we are now.
I remember playing in January of 2019 and I was so bored I joined a group post on Xbox, and I've had so much fun with those people fallout 76 will always have special place in my heart.
I started playing fallout 76. I haven't made it that far yet though since I am too deep into eso. XD But from what I have seen its rather enjoyable now. The locations are really well done and I enjoy just finding little pieces of lore in them. Also glad there are npcs I honestly would not understand the games world without them.
Its not good, its passable. There are still tons of p2w mechanics and the community is so bored they will do whatever they can to make new players believe its not in a shit state. There is no lategame or anything to do past the point where most games would have tons of content. Also most inconviences are able to be bypassed by opening your wallet

Can be a lil slow at first but gets a lot better- I might even say I’m enjoying it more then FO4
Ah, more youtuber cash in. Most of these clips are pre update, the game now crashes like it used to in year 1 all the time, it's still boring, the game has gotten easier and the noobs still struggle so you end up having to carry events. I played 76 for the first time probably a couple months after release, played a couple days and maybe got to level 30 before i was bored.
Just got into this with a friend and loving it. The community is great and I'm loving exploring the map at my own pace.
You know it’s gonna be a fantastic day when Kev uploads not once but twice

Very real on the good stuff & flaws
Thanks for including my Haunted House CAMP & you do great builds too!
I tried to get into 76 recently when it was on sale but it just didn’t click. It isn’t bad per se, but it doesn’t capture the same feelings as fallout 4, which it feels the most closely related to.
Ahhh my house was featured
I have finally played Fallout 76, I have been playing for less than a month and I especially loved the map, for me it is the best in the saga and I also joined the enclave automatically, tremendous game, I have been missing

I played Fallout 76 when it came out and I lost faith in the series. I came back to it because it’s on game pass and the show, it’s night and day. It’s so enjoyable I actually got my gf into it and she’s never played a fallout game.
I hope she leaves you.
The amount of pure joy I got seeing my camp in a kevduit video is amazing. 🤩
And yes Fallout 76 is still worth playing.
I agree 100%
Is it really good tho, i donr trust ppl make video but actual player that aren't bias can, so is it good? Or at least decent to play? I want to try it
@@joserijalkasyasyaf9723 i dont like it, way too many grindy elements, the world is empty, 0 roleplaying elements, perk system sucks ass. but try it yourself dont listen to anyone about which game is good, which one is not. buy gamepass, try it, if you dont like it refund the price of gamepass. be aware tho, there are like 3 resolutions in total in the settings, might have to fuck around with the settings file, depends on your monitor. just bethesda things

They're not full of shit its just their opinion. Not every game is going to be for everybody, that's not how life works. I played to like lv100 around the time The Pitt came out after not having played since launch and it was strictly ok, and I really didn't understand how ppl could say its a GOOD game now, cuz my honest opinion is that its not. The game just wasn't for me, and that's ok.
I came back to Fallout 76 after 4 years and wow it's so much better. I had so many random high level plays randomly come to my camp and drop me stuff to help me out. Fantastic community.
A common trend of games with disastrous launches getting somewhat good years down the line

Honestly, I 100% understand those who refuse to play F76 purely out of principle; it should ABSOLUTELY NOT have launched in the state it did.
Agreed. They put in the work to make it worthwhile, but that shouldn't ever be the case, especially when folks have to drop $70 on it at launch
I get what you're saying but the game launched 6 years ago. Holding onto hate that long is extremely unhealthy.

Well, I played a lot without 1st, and while inventory management may be annoying sometimes, it is pretty easy thing to do.
That's my BUILD at 6:54 - I love this game, and it's got issues but building is 75% of the reason I still play! Nice to see soo many people in it.
Fallout 76 is pretty fun and the story is pretty interesting with the whole Scorched plague and the whole Mothman cult
Pretty cool that Bethesda actually saved the game instead of abandoning it like how most developers do if their live-service game fails
One time someone played a mysterious stranger on me by killing a group of enemies I was struggling with and disappearing without me getting to see who saved me
Have you heard of the Bear and the Bull?
RETRIBUTION!!!😂

I got Fallout 76 from Prime, and I'm excited to try it. I'm glad Bethesda kept improving the game and added NPC's. It's crazy how they thought that no NPC's was a good idea.

What has changed in the past 2 years? It was extremely boring the last time I tried it. ZOS is also trash nowadays.
Okay you convinced me I'm going to play 76 tonight
I was one of the few people who LOVED Fallout 76 at launch. Like, the art and sound were excellent, and it made many improvements to Fallout 4's gameplay.
Exactly i liked the lack of npc's as it gave a sense of desolation with you feeling like the last group still alive after the scorched wiped out everyone the holotapes allowed you to hear everyones hope when joining a faction then their slow defeat and final last stand

Gotta admit Kev from like 9mins on you sound like Todd Pitching the game back when it first came out "16x the detail, dynamic weather whenever you look, and every person you meet is a player." Like it looks better but no real end game as they slowly drip content whilst further pushing atomic store, sounds like at most they got it to F4 base level. Which while a massive improvement from start its still quite a deeply flawed game.
Just got back into it, this and siege are two of my favorites games I played at the peak of their hype and now they're back
Glad to see we finally got to have the 16 times the detail we were promised.

Got back into it recently. The stash limit is still shit. :/

Sheet im hooked now not the im bit lol
I like RPGs where you grow. Are you truly growing with cards? Where is the RPG when you assign cards?!?!?
the problem with the other fallout games is that if you simply play long enough you become unstoppable.
@@ragebyte then this isnt a game for you i guess.
It was the wild west in the early days. So many destroyed houses. I quit 76 about 3 years ago.
The one thing fallout 76 does really well is it’s world. By far my favorite map from any fallout game and it’s not even close.
I joined yesterday and after playing for like 10 mins a high level player came and just started giving me everything I could need
So... basically, WE have become the alpha testers... and we pay THEM for it...hmmmm. I dont like that feeling.
Not really. The developers thought that the game wouldn't need NPCs because Fallout players would talk to each other. They really didn't understand the Fallout fan base. It's made up of introverts. The game became good after Bethesda accepted that and added NPCs to the 76.
Fallout 4 > 3 and I’m tired of pretending it’s not
In terms of gameplay I’d agree but in story idk. FO4 was very meh and FO3 had a pretty crappy ending without the dlc. Like imagine making a dlc just to correct your shitty ending 😭.
yea
Many people who prefer 3 over 4 are likely over the age of 40
Yeah way better 😊
Honestly, I know it’s not 3 but after seeing players talking about New Vegas being better I decided to retry it. I can’t get into it sadly, Fo4 > 3 > NV
The thing that has always been great about Fallout 76 is the community, since the game launched everyone playing has been so nice
Is taking 5 or so years to become playable really worth celebrating? It's like you bought a brand new car, then had to wait years for all the parts and now you're able to drive it
It was good like a year after launch imo...I actually didn't like wastelanderds
Is it worth celebrating when someone who's been an addict from a young age finally manages to get clean after years even though a lot of people are clean their whole life?
A car and a game are certainly comparable yes I admit you're clever
Yeah. It would be worth it if the car cost sub 100 bucks.
It was decent 1.5 years after the release.
Over 1600 hours on steam. Completing every season since season 1. Got even one of my best friends playing it with me. It IS good.
I’m thinking to buy this game but is the game pay to win or can I just play it without paying a single buck after I buy the game?
they are giving away free licenses to people who have amazon prime accounts. Its on prime gaming.
you can just buy it, the microtransactions are just mostly cosmetics. there are some (very insignificant) p2w features like buying scrap materials and XP boosters type stuff, but they're just a waste of the premium currency to spend on
It's not pay to win. Atomic Shop items are 99% cosmetic and the remaining 1% of stuff are small boosts that they might give out for free daily. Everything else is earned through actually playing the game, completing quests and doing public events.
You can progress entirely free, most paid things are assists not requirements (Plus you can earn premium currency through quests!)
Seeing Evolve brought back so many memories
Def not
Guess you'll never get to see how good it's gotten. What a shame.
