I think this is one my favorite videos you guys have done although you do make such great content. 😉😉 I have been married 40 years and watching you both in this has been a joy to see you knowing each other....... and its a reminder to me that it wouldnt hurt to revisit many of these questions with my hubby as well.... I am a long believer in many of the same ideals you both live by and love to watch you share your thoughts and ideas.

Shawn if I got the chance to actually meet you for real, not just see you and say Hi barely, oh my goodness I would just want a hug and have a million questions to ask about a million other things besides gymnastics. Parenting style is a huge one for most families.
I'm the set expectations boundaries tough love and consistency. My husband looks at it as they are only young for so long so we'll set boundaries later. That sets up for lazy, unmotivated, entitled kids. It confuses the kids. We did it my way with our son and he's our angel. My husband wanted to do it his way with our daughter and she's the devil and our son says well if she gets away with it then i don't have to do it. So we're going through that conflict. My husband is seeing his way isn't the best option. So now we're in correction mode but they are older now so it's more difficult now that those dad contradicting mom behaviors have been learned.
You really need to look ahead with all parenting decisions. What's funny & cute now may not be in a few years.. Don't start any behaviors that you think you can correct later.
If you ever have a thought that some day that a behavior won't be ok then it's not ok now. I hope that makes sense.

ha ha ha! When you said he wears his underwear all week. When we are on vacation it is a running joke that my husband wears his underwear a couple of days then he turns them inside out and wears them a couple more. I pray he is joking but sometimes I wonder. This man is obsessed with cleaning but while on vacation he turns into someone I don’t know! Lol

I am with Andrew, the original version of The Untouchables is amazing, then Hollywood remade it in 2017 called it The Upside and ruined a good movie. Watch the original even if you need the subtitles, you won't regret it.

I dunno about y'all but find ALWAYS moving away when talking on the phone such a red flag. Like, okay, it could be a "respect" thing in some cases like on very important matters but, ALWAYS? I dunno, i feel it could be used as an "excuse" for some "other things" But then, if "other things" do happen, I can't say I could blame this guy, this woman is so domineering. The way she cuts him when he's trying to say something, or the way she looks unconvinced or giving the "here you go again" looks. I hear a lot of people saying she's such a humble person but I beg to disagree. I feel and see that she's too proud of herself, she has a big ego. I mean, I get that she's competitive, being in sports at such a young age, but so was he. And you can see that he shows a lot of patience for her. Well.. patience can only get you to a certain point. I'm not saying that they're headed for disaster but rather, maybe they need to work harder on the relationship if they wanna last long. Talk, adjust, give-and-take. They're a cute couple, I'd hate to see them separating one day. Just sayin.
It's so true Josh there is an agenda there that seeks to normalise behaviours that are clearly unlawful immoral and plain disgusting. I so agree that because she is a woman there is a different set of standards. This is just plain wrong and hypocritical. If a man was doing and saying these things on stage or on the Internet or grooming young girls, he would be called out and dealt with under the laws of the land. Does this person see this disparity and is and has been confident in exposing young kids to filth and totally inappropriate grooming behaviour. If this is comedy if this is feminism if this is how modern women should be then as a woman I'm ashamed. Oh to have her in front of Judge Judy ha ha. Adams parents should press charges and she and her ilk should be removed from all social media. We all were horrified at the child abuse that was carried on by religious representatives in the past. It was carried on in secret, and are we now to accept as normal the odious behaviour anything at all on social media. There has to be a line drawn. Children have to be protected. Those who abuse their innocence who neglect groom and manipulate children should be called out. Profiting from children should also be outlawed. And minority unlawful and gross behaviours should not be allowed to ruin innocent children. Parents should be alert to what their children are interested in.
