Honestly, I adore both Tiff and Vicki and I love the way they are together on screen. It's one of the best reasons to watch. Johnny has grown on me, and of course we all love Jason Potato.

Scott Baldock I agree that LR should've given it it's own name rather then putting it in the RR lineup, but the AWD version does indeed have the off road capability known to the brand.
Too many blind spots and visibility poor. Unfortunately it isn't very practical either. Boot space is only capable of accommodating a couple of designer handbags and a toy dog. Parking is a nightmare, again due to poor visibility. Bizarrely, radical design was chosen over common sense when LR went ahead and built this. This isn't your regular mud plugger. More of a puddle jumper to be precise.
stephen driver I agree entirely. After all, the styling was lead by Victoria Beckham. LR was never known for function over form, especially with the Hipster intended Evoque. The Subaru Forester XT-Touring, at 2/3 the price, is a far better vehicle and value, but not on your list if you're the type to care more about turning heads at the valet parking line than owning a practical, reliable, functional CUV.
Alan Akeister Crap. LR loves to tout how they hired her for styling consultation. My point earlier affirmed stephen driver's statements of how the vehicle seemed to be designed towards the cues of those who never go off road and tote around toy dogs, and I'll bet that the vast majority of your claimed 112k were sold to that market, along with Hipsters and metrosexuals, which again LR admits to marketing this vehicle to specifically. Also, no one said it was so bad. In fact, I specifically said that the AWD version is quite good off road, although 99% of owners will never use it as such. What we did say was that it's a poor value, and that functionally, there are many better choices, even at much lower prices. Regardless, surely you don't expect anyone to actually take your opinion on any vehicle to be an unbiased expert one, given your specific profession.
Vicki is too adorable XD As for this "Range Rover," when I heard 2wd, I just assumed it would be RWD and figured although odd for a Rover, maybe they're going after the BMW and Porsche RWD market. I actually had to stop the clip and replay when Tiff said it was FWD :| Land Rover/ Range Rover lost a bit of respect from me with this one.
I agree. I first thought it was FWD when Vicky started on the track. I think I saw the front tyres spin, I dindnt want to believe I didn't repeat but then Tiff confirmed it is FWD. Fo r me no problem in it being a 2WD, the problem for me is being a FWD, In a Range Rover!
Vicki has made is clear to anyone who has seen the show more than a couple times that she hates driving off-reading, yet it seems like she is the one behind the wheel any time the team takes a car off-road. I don't really have a point, I just thought it was kind of funny
TheTreyVidz it's cheaper than the 4wd one so more people can buy it. Plus as said in the video better fuel economy and for people who just want one and spending 99% of its life on the road.
so good but their rival programme BBC two's Top Gear did end of road test with the Range Rover Evoque and it's done by selecting it to off road in the terrain response system and for Vicky she should have used mud ruts mode
summary of fifth gear team reviews; reviewing a british car: "it runs like crap, its expensive, not enough space in the back seat but thats all okay i give it 9 or 10 maybe 11 any other car: omg its so smooth on the road, its price is good, its epic, however it sucks i give it 7 or 6 or 5
Johnny Wrong Of course. But if you compare FWD and RWD in this type of condition, RWD is harder to control. And without a drive shaft, FWD could be lighter, which is also good on a road like this.
Johnny Wrong FWD in a car that isn't meant to be a sports car is by far the best way to go. Snow, hell even rain, can upset a RWD drive car to the point where it becomes dangerous.
Love the car, test drove and fun to drive.. HOWEVER, only if the roof would open up,....this is the only thing that stops me from purchasing. panoramic roof? what's the purpose without the open air???
+Carlos Because it has better fuel economy, and is better for the environment. For most people, who never take their expensive range rovers off road, 4wd is actually a constant disadvantage.
I share your point actually, where I live 2wd SUVs are very popular but even though they're cheape, lighter and comsume less fuel they are still heavier than a normal car they do less miles to the gallon, they are less stable and for the price of a 2wd suv you could buy another car better equipped more spacious more stable and less thirsty
Range rovers even in their AWD variant aren’t real off-road cars, no low range, no lockers, crappy ground clearance and needs a new set of grippy off-road tyres
All these FWD SUVs are just crap. I was super close to getting a BMW X1 sDrive, but then I found out it came in FWD base spec. I was so surprised about that as most base SUVs use to be RWD. Nowadays it seems that has changed. So, said screw that and got a 3 series F30 for the same price as the X1 instead.
Everybodies entitled to a little "offcourse" cry now & again. Shame it happened on youtube *grin*, with such a large puddle to mop up. Remember guy's. whichever young lady has the last laugh, laughs longest *wink*
Bit of a pointless review it’s 2wd not designed for off road so what do they do! What a waste none the wiser if you were interested in buying one. 1/10 is my score for the reviewers.
"A simpering cabbage!?" I love you Brits! That is HILARIOUS!
Honestly, I adore both Tiff and Vicki and I love the way they are together on screen. It's one of the best reasons to watch. Johnny has grown on me, and of course we all love Jason Potato.
"Simpering cabbage." ROTFLMAO!
That is possibly the best insult I've ever heard.
Kudos to Vicki for overcoming her irrational fear. Not everyone can do that, leave alone on camera.

k3rrons i thought rwd aswell! Fwd=Failure Wotdafuq Dumb

I want what Vicky is smoking. Awesome stuff...
Where are Vicki's eyebrows?
Vicki has made is clear to anyone who has seen the show more than a couple times that she hates driving off-reading, yet it seems like she is the one behind the wheel any time the team takes a car off-road. I don't really have a point, I just thought it was kind of funny
What is the point of a 2wd range rover...
TheTreyVidz it's cheaper than the 4wd one so more people can buy it. Plus as said in the video better fuel economy and for people who just want one and spending 99% of its life on the road.
For people like me you live in NYC and don’t need a 4WD car and are trying to budget on fuel economy and a cheaper car
It snows all the time here though. I feel 4x4 should be standard on all cars.
Oprah Winfrey No it should not, it uses more fuel and in most places it is not necessary.
None. If you want fuel economy and a nice on Road feel, why would you buy a Range Rover? It’s just stupid!
i feel Range Rover shouldn't make a Fwd model at all. They should at least pretend the car is off roady. Even Subaru doesn't make a 2wd impreza.
At some point, 2wd set up is better than 4x4.
+Ahmad Ihsan at what point of an off-road situation would 2wd be beneficial over awe and by the way awd and 4x4 are different things
probablynovideoshere Subaru is boring anyway.
probablynovideoshere yeah they do. The japanese market has a 1.6 FWD Impreza
@@svein-haraldribland8559 yep no sti
Why did you not reverse it up? It's a rear wheel drive car backwards
Vicky is the best part of Fifth Gear.
and Tiff too
on 2:13 is that an airbus beluga on the background?
Nope, that is a guppy! :D
If Rage Rovers going to make a 2wd Evoke it should be rear wheel drive. Thanks.
no
so good but their rival programme BBC two's Top Gear did end of road test with the Range Rover Evoque and it's done by selecting it to off road in the terrain response system and for Vicky she should have used mud ruts mode
The one in Top Gear is the 4WD version. This one isn't.
@@farishanafiah8461 which one is it for Vicki
I like this video much more than I like the Evoque.
U guys need MORE AND FREQUENT youtube content
I love Vicky & Tiff.
I guess Ranger Rover was selling 2wd cars and needed some PR. No way in hell that car deserved a 24.5/30.
Why do they even make SUVs in 2wd? What's the point
+chromatics kent
People will buy them, so companies will make them. Simple as that.
Besides, how many 4x4s need 4x4 from their owners?
chromatics kent better fuel economy wierdo
I LOVE Range rover products
That laugh at 04:07. 😁
I really do enjoy your show
Making all that drama about off road driving but on Wrecks to Riches MPV episode 2 she went on a Land Rover experience and seemed to enjoy it!!! Hmmmm
Damn, I thought you guys were giving it 5...
Wait a wrong wheel drive range rover so fwd on an suv!? Might as well get a Toyota or a Honda.
Oh Vicki...

This isn't Top Gear review.
yogobogo thanks i fixed it:D
3:53 vicky goes into labour lol
Wanted review on the car
I don't get why viki is afraid to hurt a car she doesn't own and wont have to pay for if it gets damaged, I would have thrashed that car around
Where is Jason
00:25 57.6 mpg that does not seem right.... Mileage similar to a 250cc bike? :D
British Gallons are larger. It's very economical but not highly unusual.
Divide British fuel economy ratings by 1.2 for US
Land Rover PR: The Macan is kicking our ass, quick . . . find an Evoque that doesn't directly compete and have 5th gear review it.
0:12 doesn't he mean Range Rover evoque
2WD is one thing, but FWD? Nah.
RWD on a muddy hill? Now that's something I would like to avoid.
Calde Ailis Anything but 4WD and you've no place on a muddy hill.
Johnny Wrong Of course. But if you compare FWD and RWD in this type of condition, RWD is harder to control. And without a drive shaft, FWD could be lighter, which is also good on a road like this.

+Fasta Rasta her point? she said what if WATER COMES INTO EXAUST???? how stupid you must be to say something like that????

loves their reviews ,,.but too much drama ,,she cried// who cries seeing a little hill..
Has the far better Jaguar Ingenium engine now.
Where's jason
But, wait... weren't you 4?
I honestly don't know why you would buy a 2wD evo when you can get a 4wD for a bag of sand more seems pointless to me
+Carlos Because it has better fuel economy, and is better for the environment. For most people, who never take their expensive range rovers off road, 4wd is actually a constant disadvantage.
+Victorhuhu Exactly I can't understand why people would by one for them very reasons.

+Victorhuhu But I do bring my Range Rover off roading.
vicki the simpering cabbage. i had no idea lol. like they said she is so fast on tarmac...
mulher ao volante perigo constante
Range rovers even in their AWD variant aren’t real off-road cars, no low range, no lockers, crappy ground clearance and needs a new set of grippy off-road tyres
Maybe the lower-end Range Rovers. The Sport and the standard Range Rover do have low range gearbox and lockers.
All these FWD SUVs are just crap. I was super close to getting a BMW X1 sDrive, but then I found out it came in FWD base spec. I was so surprised about that as most base SUVs use to be RWD. Land rover discovery
Why would anyone want a 2wd
Some people never go offroad, so the 2WD Evoque make sense after all.
My aunty wants one
