@@josephkreifelsii6596 I owned a 2001 Dodge Ram with 220,000 miles and it's the only vehicle I've ever owned that I literally never had to replace anything. I owned it for about 2.5 years. It died once (caused by a short in a flamethrower setup from the high school kid that owned it before me, so not Dodge's fault). I always wondered what that button was until then, it ran to a spark plug and an injector in the exhaust.

@@Puzzlepieces404...the super charger's rated displacement/volume that Dodge uses on the hellcats is 1.8L-2.0L depending on the model. So, the volume of their super charger is as much as the volume (displacement) of the engines used by other car makers. That's what that line was referring to...

i would agree i used to love mustangs and camaros. after seeing a hellcat charger passed by my neighbourhood, i fell in love with it and its not just the charger, basically every dodge vehicles they made. the hemi engine whine is undoubtedly the best thing i ever heard. also the design on their cars are just 10/10

Are they ? The designs are dated the Challenger and Charger are almost 10 years old and the most significan style change is a widebody.

Well at 840hp that really doesn't matter all that much. The RT's only weigh 37 pounds more than an SS and they can be made to scream for almost nothing. The weight can be trimmed down with a simple cat back exhaust. I was a GM guy my entire life and have driven some of the hottest cars GM/Pontiac has ever made. I still love my Camaro's but I am glad I made the switch. Plus the look is absolutely timeless at least here in the states. Both GM and Ford have forgotten their roots and why they're being outsold by Dodge. Neither company produces a muscle/pony car that looks American any longer and why I walked away.

Here's the thing, the Challenger is a timeless look and despite the same body for 10 years they are the only ones with cars that actually look American. Plus the options on their cars are absolutely insane. Like coming with a freaking air compressor in the trunk for flats. A 4 cylinder mode *MDS that actually works is also quite nice.
For reference- It is standard practice for a car company to stick with a body that sells well. Ford did this with the Taurus, Toyota with the Camry, Honda with so many cars I can't list them all, and of course GM. From 1993-2002 the Camaro, Firebird, and Trans-Am stayed almost identical with very minor variations in body styles.
@@Sinn0100 yeah it's weird. When Toyota keeps a design for 14 years it's timeless and beloved. When Dodge does it critics claim its ancient and needs to change. What they both have in common though is consumers love their Tacomas and Chargers and Challengers more than the competition. If you get the design right the first time you won't need to go around redoing it every 4 or 5 years like Ford or GM.

This is amazing! I love dodge and its awesome that you've got the classics too! I most loved the part where it had the DAYTONA CHARGER and said it was kicked out because it was too damn legendary!! And it is true. Only thing is why didnt you use the 68/69/70 charger mod by cascaduer 1313 you used his daytona
The Ford cammer engine was the same thing. Ford introduced it to beat Hemis and Dodge fans complained, so it was banned.
