Days after trains were added to Create in 2022 I made my first "car" with them. Today I finally get to make one without any trains!

Minecraft becomes Scrap Mechanic (or Space Engineers) little by little.
We've already got Factorio (or Satisfactory, whichever one you see fit).
Yeah and the cars are as glitchy as rovers in old space engineers. And physics is like scrap mechanic on lowest setting.

I would say closer to stormworkers I play all of them and vehicles are somewhat closer to stormworkers than to space engineers or scrap mechanics and the base building depending on other mods is closer to either stationeers or space engineers

I love this mod so much, the only problem with it is that it's not compatible with my zombie modpack. The concept of having a mobile base while surviving an apocalypse just thrills me
Be so cool if the wheels could interact with the mobs and make them ragdoll

be sick if they made it so wheels knocked back and did damage to mobs, and they added spiked wheels that would deal extra damage without knocking them back. imagine the possibilities for mob farms or pvp

There's a nice game out there where it's like dayZ but 2d and turn based. It has a very bad learning curve though, but it's called cdda, check it out. It has the best vehicle creation system!
Have you tried DeceasedCraft? It has the Create mod as well as zombie survival

There is a way to make smaller contraptions. Either a command or an item, I think debug stick that spawns a small physic infused block

Quick advice as one of the smaller members from the Tank tussle server
There is inverted clutches and inverted gearshifts from a create addon mod, meaning you dont need the torch gate on your car!
Almost all the tanks and cars from the server use inverted clutches since its just more compact, and less prone to breaking, especially from damage

`4:40 One of the simplest things I could think of to make it turn would be to have two motors on the front, one for each wheel, and one motor for the two aft (rear) wheels. You have the rear wheels be the main drive and turn on one of the two front motors when you want to turn.
Basically it's tank controls to turn.

Finally, now can make a Scrap Mechanic in modpack, but we need a making the mods, the robot, the tools, block, and every other things of more
it will be cool if you use the engines from create the factory must grow!
Random tip: you can discard all of the mechanical stuff and just use the eurikra helm to move the car and if you tweak the settings you can make it go up slopes perfectly
create has been slowly taking over my modpack and I just dropped a car mod because "it didn't fit the create vibe", now I see this. I can only hope it moves to 1.19 at some point but man this is just getting better

what mod did he use to switch direction for the brass gearbox? 3:32 I lied it's create: connected BUT it doesn't say it's compatible with valk skies v2.2.1-beta.5 and needs beta.6 which DOESN'T exist for 1.18.2 which I think shalz is playing on. If someone could help, that would be awesome thanks

Try and see if drills on the car work or even make it float/fly

I really wish this was compatible with Fabric and 1.20.1, the Create Server I'm on would absolutely LOVE this
9:05 instead of using a clutch try using a inverted clutch. Basicly a clutch but you have to power it for rotation to go through, i use this on my car's and it works fine.
now, ima add a differential, gearbox and gasoline/diesel engine to that thing!

you should make a competition of designs and then make them smaller through the portal and race them
if you want to make more compact designs, i suggest using create connected or ender transmissions
