You could have tried making an early Autogyro, which would have an offset propeller for lift, and a fore propeller for directional movement. In the back you'd have your stabilisers to control where you're pointing.

Fun fact: tilting the helicopter to the front or back is exactly how real helis are driven forward and backward
Well, it's more that the rotors constantly tilt in a way that makes the heli go in a certain direction. When the tilt of the rotors is constant, the heli is stationary. But yeah I guess that does cause the tilt of the helicopter

This is one of my favorite SMALL channels, really enjoy the content. Usually I’m not a big fan of SMALL channels, but I’m a *big* fan of this one.
If shalz had an editor these video upload schedule would go crazy
I would love to see a mod that makes explosion & fire particles for when aircrafts collide with anything, it would look really cool when you crash (11:40, for example) also, it would be cool for in air combat with cannons and stuff.

Absolutely stellar video! Helicopters are a proper pain to build and balance properly, but planes should be easier to make, theoretically.

I'd recomend in the future researching how helicopters work and their engineering next time, the rear rotary prop is important for stabilization and steering

Look at the anglog levers and am not sure what reserves them but it allows you to have a strength of all 16 levels of redstone from a single lever. rather then have zero and full power!

To think a Multi-Billion dollar company will never amount to the capabilities of Mod Makers. This is the first I’ve seen of this mod - an entirely buildable/editable structure with fluid physics included… that’s insane!!

there is a reason there is a propeller on the back of the helicopter. with it you can turn so with the copter you built first if you had built a vertical propeller it would go forward and you can turn it

Finally, someone thought about a helicopter with two rotors. Do so few people know about the Chinook?
You should add another propeler to the back, and make it so it tilts forward, along side tilting backwards to go backwards.

You could just use a rotor vectoring to make it go forwards/backwards left/right and put 1 motor at the back to roll. Also you have to put the centre of lift in the same place as the centre of mass.
If you can't do the helicopter try quadrocopter

You could ve tried to use a gantry with a weight umderneath to balance the nice looking helicopter

Recommendation: you both build one with guns on (create big cannons) and then battle to the death. It would be a tad bit easier with boats instead of helicopters though tbf
As amazing as this would be, because of how Valkyrien Skies works, the projectiles of Create: Big Cannons go through the vehicles as if they aren't there. You'd have to hit the driver of the vehicle.

You should do one of these but with airplanes (like small Cessna planes) I saw my our original airplane one but you used rails instead of perpellers
You should have done something like the Osprey, it’s a helicopter that has two propellers on the sides that you can have move to go forwards and backwards

I think if you use VS seats, and have players sit down, their weight doesn't effect the flight.
*choose your death trap:*
a helicopter with no tail rotor, making turning the helicopter to the sides impossible
*or*
a tandem rotor helicopter that isnt made in a way you can turn it to the sides
