Great content as always. A few quick tips from a strong engine background. A little water in the oil of a run engine turns it into a chocolate milkshake right away. You might have to turn the crank two revolutions to hit your tdc timing pin. The cam is 2-1 on a 4 stroke engine. Hope these tips help. Keep up the great content.
Looking Good Matt ------ Sounds like a plan ------ How did you like this weather ----- Monday won't be bad either ----- Thanks for the Up-Date ------ Hope you have a Good Week ----- Rodney
Fun video. A couple of weeks ago we were getting an engine for another friend for his 29RPU. Got it running in short order and "hi 5's" all around. THEN...water peeing out of the block under the engine # stamp plate. There was a rust hole in the block downward from the water jacket area. Junk pile! Next. BTW isn't a "B" timing pin 10* ?
Thanks bud. I have a ton of them actually. This one will be swapped out for a modified pan going into an A with A flywheel housing. Just needed it to run one more time!
The rope trick works even better if you jam the rope in both #1 and #4 cylinder.
Never saw the rope trick! Great stuff! Go Seattle Speed Shop, keep moving forward!
Thanks! Will do!

Always jealous of your shop Matt! Nice work saving another one!
I spent 12 years building cars out of a 2 car garage and in the driveway! It's definitely something I'm super proud of. Thanks for the kind words!

I've heard of that happening more than once!
Had an A head freeze burst in the same spot ....I think there's a thin spot right there.
It's like Ford's first freeze plug.
I've seen several cracked there as well. Fords own freeze plug...I'll remember that! Haha
@@Seattle_Speed_Shop Better there than the block, right?

I have a good pan if you need one for a B.
