    This is a really good video for me. Thank you. I'm hopeless at actually playing this game (not too great at modding it either :)

      Better than me. If I listened to some of the comments, I am horrible at the game also. So, the convoys have begun. It will be interesting to see how the routes and where they send them. Only seen that one convoy that went to southern denmark so far. BTW I love the german sea plane with 4 torps. I am totally not going to abuse that once I find the main fleet.
      For the fighters and strategic air, I highly suggest pushing the leave timer up to 300 or 360 so the fighters have time to hunt down the bombers. At 70 or so I can just fly away and get away every time.

    The phrase you seek on aircraft lineup at airfields would the "Order of battle" if I recall correctly.

      It is just a minor annoyance that planes are sometimes first and sometimes second just switching places with the same plane.

    AFAIK historically, no Allied convoy entered the Baltic Sea to Russia 1939-1945. Subs did enter and exit with minefield hazards to both sides into the North Sea. The Polish surface vessels DID make a breakout for Britain in '39 as did their subs with some successes.

      Thats what I thought. I think the objective of the game should be build the two russian ports in the north to both level five airfields and ports.

      @@DublinMarley Agreed. RR and trucks (Ice-trucking via Ladoga's lake) got Leningrad's its supplies. Archangelsk and Murmansk make MUCH more sense

      Just because it never happened doesn't mean it couldn't. This is alt history and that's the challenge.

    The zero Engineering and Fuel supplies *only* applies to the Allied campaign - not the Axis. This makes the Allied campaign more difficult because you have to convoy all the supplies not only to the Soviets but also to your own smaller ports. It is also the way that the Allies are only able to build a rank 5 airfield at Leningrad by using convoys through the Baltic. Yes it will be a hard game (maybe impossible). The Axis game has all the usual supplies in Leningrad, Murmansk, and Arkhangelsk. It's just a question of the Axis making assaults in the usual way to win the game. The Axis doesn't have a Baltic problem so it would be certain victory if the Soviets had no supplies. Let's face it, nobody can rely 100% on the AI sea missions It's all mostly RNG. But as the Allies you can make all the decisions on what goes where

    The mod was already posted when I realised you were gaming the system :) I'll increase the timer for air battles but it'll be next time. Why don't you play without the cheat? It might be a closer game :) EDIT: Changed it to 180.😁

      That works. I can do that but I would rather just exploit loopholes in the game so they can be fixed and the next players will have a better game experience. 180 should cause some damage.

    Am curious why Bordeaux is not a naval port for Occupied France, nor is Danzig/ Gdansk for Poland.

      Its a numbers issue. Too many ports/airfields will really unbalance the game to airpower. It is already air heavy as it is. Cant put them all in. I wouldnt mind removing the channel ports on both sides to increase the distance between bombers.

      @@DublinMarley Okay. Butt this what happens when you play with alternate histories in the pick and choose dilemma--which to keep and which to discard (Just watched Dr Felton's vid on last Allied landing in France April 1945 at Bordeaux)

    Just been testing the patrol bug problem. It's never happened to me. I just tested v 2.23m2 and ran it for 14 days with all bases patrolling and there were no problems. I also tested the version before v 2.23 and the same thing - no problems. So ????? I can only think it's a peculiar set of circumstances that triggers the bug, but I don't really know -yet.

      It only happened in the second episode. I restarted from a saved game and it never happened again. Since then and the new version hasnt happened once.

    this mod will be useless as soon the real atlantic mod comes out..with that torpedo stuff you mentioned

      The version of east indies that I am running has torpedo deflection in it. Been saved and burned several times by it already. It's a prerelease version.

      I resent that. My mod is *already* useless. It can't get any worse no matter how many other mods come out. 😀
