Yeah me too, suddenly this video pop up on my yt recommendation out of nowhere. Since i used to play this game a lot, i decided to watch again for the sake of nostalgia 🤣
So weird seeing this pop up random... Because more than a year ago, during a drinking night, I came up with a game that has similar characteristics. Wrote it all in a notebook as I continued with the beer. The name of the game was going to be "Prepper". I have no idea how far this one you are showing will take it, mine had a second part to it where the gameplay switched to more first-person-shooter type (after the nukes or whatever the end means), and that phase was about all you did in the prep stage... who you met, who you helped/pissed off, what you learned/built. The second phase would change things from a single-player, to a multi-player game. Is that guy someone who wants to trade, or hurt me... or maybe having knowledge that's now unavailable is worth more than what I carry. Maybe one day I'll learn to code (I'm 53 yrs old so don't hold your breath). I'm going to check this out on Steam for sure. Thanks for the video.

I was trying to remember what it was called, like 'What was that game where you play in 1900s something America and you have to stop the government from finding out your building a bomb shelter?' and then I see this in my recommend. Glad to be here 9 months later anyway XD
i watched this when you first made the videos and just got recommended it again, i decide id watch it again and I'm hooked. seriously underrated game and youtuber.
You can just move the soil plots outside and utilise full sunshine and the rain. Just remember to move them back inside (I just store them temporarily) when the agent visits.
14:57 I think the reason the agent doesn't like gasoline, is because it is need to run stuff, like a car or a generator, but the oil is likely fine because the house has an oil heater.
I just got this in a package deal with Infection Free Zone. It keeps crashing for me, but I wanted to see the game and found my way here. That was a lot of words to say: great vid!
The inspector might not like the gasoline because there’s probably the implication that you might have a vehicle to use the gas on. Since you’re not supposed to have a car or be traveling. That’s my take on it at least
14:51 I think it was mentioned at the start that the protagonist was prohibited from ever driving a car or even owning one ever since his failed getaway. It kinda makes sense why the agent was utterly suspicious of the gasoline.

He doesn't like the gasoline barrels because you're forbidden from owning a car. I hope that makes some sense.
