I love these smaller projects. But to tell the truth, my favorite parts of any of your projects are vapor blasting and your paint talents. Wztching you mix your paints and the seeing the lovely outcome is like magic to me.
Thanks again for another great piece of restoration. I can see how the old stuff was made to be rebuilt - this is proper sustainability,! I am most impressed that leather seals of the right size are still available
Finally someone not wanting to save the 'patina'. I love the look of a new paint job. Liking the short video too. Reminds me of when the channel first started.
Lovely little resto, i'm liking these little projects in between the big ones. That vapor blaster does an awesome job, though I gotta admit I was a bit shocked at the amount of gunk the Deox C pulled off the metal bits! Good work with the lathe, maybe you could find an old one and restore it?
Thank you, really glad you are still enjoying my little side projects. Yeah I was surprised too as the steel really didn't look that rusty just goes to show how appearances can be deceptive.
Thank you for watching :) Yeah I love the vapour blasted finish it looks good on camera but im real life the quality of the finish it leaves is unreal!
Sacre Bleu!!! 😳😳😳 It's me Dad's old footpump‼️‼️Never thought I'd see that again. OK well it wasn't THAT exact one, ours was red for a start but ohh the memories it evokes of our old shed at home.❤️❤️❤️ Apart from the countless bike punctures and car tyre reflations and the sterling service it gave to us and all the local kids bikes (it was a known and valued resource that endowed my brothers and I with enhanced popularity around the estate), our Kismet was not without a modicum of infamy! Dad pumped it nightly to inflate a lorry innertube that was used to nightly aerate our fishtank until one day... pump, pump, pump... ENORMOUS ROOTIN' TOOTIN' RIP ROARIN' BANG!!! The noise was loud enough to bring the neighbours to our door! Had Dad shot Mum??? Were the kids next??? Nope. The fishtank innertube had let rip with a sonic boom 💥 The CR250 was awesome Sir, but this resto, for me, was mind blowing!❤️❤️❤️
I recently restored my dad’s red Kismet Baby foot pump. Came out very well, better than new. Made the leather seal out of a piece of leather chair sample. Pumps to 60+ psi.
Awesome little pump! I love that you give it as much attention to detail as you do the big projects. On a side note, UA-cam just now alerted me that posted this video nine hours ago....it's 16:28 Mountain Standard Time US.
Whether it's a 10+ episode epic or an 18 minute quickie, all your videos are amazing, informative and entertaining! Keep it up and bring on the next project! 👍
Another brilliant restoration great to see a footpump brought back to life again instead of being thrown away, well done looking forward to your next video
You never cease to amaze me the amount of attention in detail that you put in every restoration from the big to the small. You have an amazing skill set and cannot wait to see what the future holds. I do have a question, what kind of paint stripper do you use? Methylene chloride strippers are banned in the USA and it would be nice to get some of what you have.
Awesome restoration and very thorough as usual. I just recently restored my grand fathers floor Jack from the 70’s. I can’t wait to see what the next bike restoration will be! Take care!
Remember the other day you posted a poll asking if you should change things? I voted leave it as is at the time, but I do have a suggestion now. Sandblasting is so satisfying, don't cut away from that. I'd watch sandblasting all the live long day, and if you don't believe me go have a look at how massive the pressure washing scene is on UA-cam. That's my input. Good vid as always bud.
Oh and one more thing, which I hope doesn't sound like rough criticism, the scrolling text along the bottom that you sometimes do, I feel like I'm either watching that or watching the content, can't do both. If it was me I'd just voice it over so people can watch the video and absorb the info together. Promise that's my last one!
That wet sand blaster is very cool. Is it more gentle on certain metals? Is that why you used 2 different sanding techniques? You have an awesome set up and you definitely know your stuff. I enjoy watching what you do. You also do some amazing work.
Nice little project bud. Keep up the great work and your shelves will be groaning under the weight of pristinely restored objects of pleasure. Not so sure about the nose and chin making an entrance as I do like the anonymity aspect. I do miss the narration though. The Scottish burr has a nice soft tone to it. I am not used enough to the different accents to pick out where in Scotland you are from but it is pleasant to listen to. High praise for wearing "proper" overalls and I think the workshop dustcoat is developing a beautiful patina. I was always told to be wary of tradesmen who just work in blue jeans as only "cowboys" wear Jeans! Nothing shoddy about your work.
Stunning work as usual pal, hope you are managing to resolve the issues you were experiencing with the view totals, keep it up dude, awesome to see people not just throwing things out as they are old 👍
Thank you, Yeah im working on it as we speak just experimenting with different settings, video types, length, keywords, phrasing etc etc. Tbh i much prefer to use restored old items as 90% the quality is so much better than what you get these days especially stuff like this pump one quick restoration and its good to go for another 50 years pumping.
Haha yeah you know i like to tease you guys with my anonymity lol. A powder coating set up is on my list of toys to get right after the lathe and possibly a milling machine oh and maybe a 3d printer too lol
Perfect little resto. The vapor blaster leaves such a nice finish on metal. I wish I had one, haha! Anyway, looking forward to the next big project (MC) and also seeing more lathe work. Great job!
Nothing earth shattering, just a good laid back ASMR enjoyable, minor mechanical factory restoration. I wouldn't expect anything less from RRC. .The part that blows me away the most???. RRC reaches into a parts bin and pulls out a (still in the package) brand new 1950's Kismet leather pump seal!!!! Like dude! Where would a guy even know where to look or know what to ask for to find a scarce replacement part like that?
First, a joy to watch as always. Second, some personal, perhaps nitpicky feedback following on your posts about viewership. I do enjoy the one-and-done projects every bit as much as the series projects, if not more. I miss the voice narration. And while I appreciate the value in cutting the time back, it feels here like you cut out some steps (selecting and thinning out the paint, parts washing) you would normally show; maybe there's a compromise of a little more time added, but showing a shorter amount of some steps (which I think you are already doing)? Just some things I noticed which I am sure you have thought about.
HI, thanks for the feedback and you are 100% about needing the voice narration back and showing more details again but with the past few videos I've just been doing a bit of experimenting to see what still works and what doesn't to get an idea of how to film and edit my next big project. Thanks for the feedback and advice.
Mr RRC. Just curious - what generally happens to the items that you restore? Do you sell them on? Im also curious if you get paid to restore things or do you buy them on ebay, restore them and sell them on?
Great stuff!! Looking brand new. You probably do not have the equipment to do so, but I would recommend to powdercoat this, for I think it will last a lot longer with this foot operated pump? But defenitely liking the endresult! 👌
Always a pleasure to watch your restoration work, thanks ! May I suggest you to replace the scrolling text by some static one ? I find it very long and difficult to read (but maybe I'm the only one).
Everytime I hear the soundtrack at the beginning, I think of the Mars Rover. Lol this is what they used on their videos. Anyway, I'm ready to see what you did with this
These little projects are good to keep us entertained in between the larger projects! As always, it's so relaxing to watch you work!👍🏼🤙🏼
Thanks so much! :)

I’m a 63 year old woman and I absolutely love watching your restorations.
You sound like my kind of gal!!
I love these smaller projects. But to tell the truth, my favorite parts of any of your projects are vapor blasting and your paint talents. Wztching you mix your paints and the seeing the lovely outcome is like magic to me.
Holy moly that water blaster is to die for! And I don't know about others but I never tire of watching you plate stuff!
I’ve just found a Kismet duplex master in my Dad’s shed. It’s the bigger one with the flat coil spring.
Your resto’s are inspiring, well done Sir.
Don't throw away that tube! That has still live in it! I mean, literally, something is living in that...
I admit I never thought I'd be enthralled by a foot pump restoration....only on RRC! Thanks 🙂
Thank you so much, Glad you enjoyed it :)
Lovely little resto, i'm liking these little projects in between the big ones. That vapor blaster does an awesome job, though I gotta admit I was a bit shocked at the amount of gunk the Deox C pulled off the metal bits! Good work with the lathe, maybe you could find an old one and restore it?

Lovely job dude thanks. I love that you weren't tempted to polish the brass, the vapour blasted finish looks great!
Thank you for watching :) Yeah I love the vapour blasted finish it looks good on camera but im real life the quality of the finish it leaves is unreal!

Love it, looks like my humble little video managed to evoke some big memories for you :)
Yay, another back to basic project - I love it! Great restoration mate! 👍👍👍
Thanks buddy that mean a lot :)
Another quality video! It's always a good morning when an RRC video pops up in my feed 👍🇦🇺
Реставрация как всегда на высоте! Зачёт!!!
I recently restored my dad’s red Kismet Baby foot pump. Came out very well, better than new. Made the leather seal out of a piece of leather chair sample. Pumps to 60+ psi.
Nice restoration , colleague. Keep going to recording videos and keep growing your channel . Perfect content and all . Support 👍🔥💪
The vapor blasting fascinates me everytime. Looks awesome.👍
Thank you! Cheers!

You're too kind :)
Happy you've gone ahead restoring stuff and uploading videos 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you :)
Love the little projects in between !
Oh God... I'm so hooked on this channel 😂😂😂
Awesome little pump! I love that you give it as much attention to detail as you do the big projects. On a side note, UA-cam just now alerted me that posted this video nine hours ago....it's 16:28 Mountain Standard Time US.
I like the 'small' projects! Great job on this pump!
Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it :)
That's my favourite of all so far!
Hi. Another brilliant video. Thank you for sharing 👍
Thank you for watching :)
I never thought that blade would ever look that good
Hard work and beautiful new look. 👌👌👌
Thank you :)
Great video as always. I have to be honest when I first read the description I thought it said baby food pump, I'm glad I was wrong.
Another impressive restoration.
Whether it's a 10+ episode epic or an 18 minute quickie, all your videos are amazing, informative and entertaining! Keep it up and bring on the next project! 👍
Very entertaining love your work even a foot pump keep em coming great thanks👍😊
Thank you so much :)
Oh and thank you for not playing crap music in the background!
Amazing job my friend congratulations
Hope you narrate more, it really helps me understand the process
The narration will be making a comeback soon ; )
Wow!! I have very fond memories of losing parts of my shin using one of these, to pump up my bicycle tyres as a youngster. Great work!!
Love watching these videos so calming and satisfying to see them being done! , look forward to the next one every time! Keep up the great work!
Awesome finish, as always. The perfect foot pump to accompany you on your Ducati track-days. Thank you for sharing, all the best to you.
Thank you for watching :)
Another brilliant restoration great to see a footpump brought back to life again instead of being thrown away, well done looking forward to your next video
Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it :)
8:54 Congratulations for the new tool !!!

Thank you :)
Love these little projects 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you like them! :)
Another great resto. Keep up the good work.
Otra vez con vida! Muy bueno!
Awesome restoration and very thorough as usual. I just recently restored my grand fathers floor Jack from the 70’s. I can’t wait to see what the next bike restoration will be! Take care!
Excellent as always! Your talent knows no bounds!
Thank you so much 😀
Could you please make the loud machines quieter in future videos? Thank you, love your work.
Looks great, well done.
Thank you! Cheers!
Another great restoration, Awesome! 👏
Thank you :)

Love the lathe... and you experimenting with it. As always, I enjoy your channel and what you do.
Very satisfying.
A very nice Job Love it next very good Video done ⭐🌹👍
Always good quality video's keep them coming
Awesome as always, I like you just “happen to have a” new seal in your supply’s lol.
love to watch you work
Thank you :)
That wet sand blaster is very cool. Is it more gentle on certain metals? Is that why you used 2 different sanding techniques? You have an awesome set up and you definitely know your stuff. I enjoy watching what you do. You also do some amazing work.
Lovely job yet again 👍
Thank you :)
Keep on posting. Great videos
Thanks, will do!
In restoration 'patina' is just another word for lazy!!! 🤣🤣 This is why I love your channel.. You do it RIGHT!!!
Профессионал 👍🔥
Lovely as always!! You should make an how to zinc plate video😃
Its on my very long list of videos i need to make haha

Cheeky glimpse of the face! Love the extended resto. You should get a powder coating setup.
Haha yeah you know i like to tease you guys with my anonymity lol. A powder coating set up is on my list of toys to get right after the lathe and possibly a milling machine oh and maybe a 3d printer too lol
Very well done thank you 🙏
Thank you too!
Dayem... the wet peeling cabin - washer Thingy is AWESOME😀 This shit looks brand new
😱👌👌👌😀
I would be finding every excuse to use that vapor blaster. Always impressed by that thing.
Haha I do, Its any excuse to fire it up lol
Perfect little resto. The vapor blaster leaves such a nice finish on metal. I wish I had one, haha! Anyway, looking forward to the next big project (MC) and also seeing more lathe work. Great job!
Thank you so much my friend always nice to hear form you.
Enjoyable as always! Now, get yersel' a lathe and start restoring it!
Working on it as we speak my friend ;)
Great restoration…
Thank you :)
Love it 👏🏼 is there nothing that you can’t restore to like new? Brilliant channel 👍🏼 And you gave us a sneak peak at your face 🤣
Thanks so much! 😊
Outstanding!
Thank you! Cheers!

Vapor blasting takes the tarnishing off of brass. I did not know this.
Mr RRC. Just curious - what generally happens to the items that you restore? Do you sell them on? Im also curious if you get paid to restore things or do you buy them on ebay, restore them and sell them on?
Great video. Although I'm curious where do you get your spare parts for such obscure products though?
Great stuff!! Looking brand new. You probably do not have the equipment to do so, but I would recommend to powdercoat this, for I think it will last a lot longer with this foot operated pump? But defenitely liking the endresult! 👌

Always a pleasure to watch your restoration work, thanks !
May I suggest you to replace the scrolling text by some static one ? I find it very long and difficult to read (but maybe I'm the only one).
Thank you glad you enjoyed it. Yeah i don't plan on using scrolling text much more as i have had comments from a few people who find it hard to read.
Nice work as always
Thank you! Cheers!
Hello, what happened to the paint at 15 min 26 secondes? It always a pleasure and relaxing to see your videos. Thx for sharing. Regards
Add a pressure gauge!
(PS I love these between the motorcycle and car projects)
Hi, What kind of oil was used in the internal of the pump ??
thank you.
neatsfoot oil as it doesn't degrade the leather seal.
Everytime I hear the soundtrack at the beginning, I think of the Mars Rover. Lol this is what they used on their videos. Anyway, I'm ready to see what you did with this
how do you determine when to use the water blaster vs the sand blaster?
I have a big lathe looking for a new home. And it could do with a restoration!
Love your work 👍
Thank you so much 😀
Old pump👍~malaysia boy🇲🇾
Great job as usual! Hopefully the views will pick up on the shorter format! All the best of luck, keep up the great work!! Will be watching!
Thank you, I hope so too :)
As usual, impecável!
I'm craving to start electroplating.
At 11:55 I think it's the first I see a head. 🤔😉
Keep up the good work 💪
Masters degree in cinematography or just a damn good natural?
You're too kind :)
Great stuff as usual! Was this sprayed in Ducati yellow by any chance!?
I can see why you'd think that but no it was sprayed with a colour matched British standard colour.
nice job again pal
keep them coming
Thanks, will do buddy :)
❤❤😘😘
