U.S. Air Force Special Warfare-Combat Control

- When you’re the first to arrive, it’s not enough
to be ready. You have to be relentless. The elite Airmen who
make up Combat Control (CCT) do whatever it takes to ensure
reinforcements can arrive safely, including setting up airfields
and establishing air traffic control in hostile environments.

*THIS* is a good military ad.
Take notes, Army!
Nothing here looks that interesting a can buy ar15s and nvgs big deal
CCT and Green Berets work together!!!!! The best in the business!!!!❤🇺🇸
The army has some decent ones too
was getting ready to say this haha
@@Leviathan762-zh4lqYou might be able to buy an AR-15 and some NVGs but you'll never be one of these guys.
The air force is certainly ramping its advertisement and recruitments up!
Because we are raising generations of snowflakes ( I am not saying everyone is like that though and I do not want to downplay the role of emotional intelligence, but we are definitely over reacting to some of the issues amplifying them, we are sugarcoating their world), therefore it's getting harder to recruit....
Also, the news from around the world is hinting at war soon.
@@LawrenceReitan Exactly
Yup. This keeps up there will no more man for this type of warfare that can potentially come up at our doorstep
Ww3 here we come
I love that there is a silenced shot coming from a gun with no suppressor
I thought I was tripping at first

These guys get no press, no fanfare, and are probably the most elite special forces in our military.
The new air force special warfare ads for pararescue, TacP and CCT are also pretty kickass.
As a C-130 load I love watching these types of videos 🇺🇸
I was USAF and then ANG, and worked with loadmasters. You folks were some of the smartest troops I served with. Much respect.
@@PlasmaCoolantLeak Thanks a lot brother 🤙
I was a c5 load & i was jelly when I saw that load with nods on lol
I was Air Trans and hated loadmasters changing my load plans all the time.
When I was a teenager, I lived in Singapore in an apartment on the 20th floor. The Singaporean air force flew their Hercs so close to our apartment that you could feel the air vibrating. It was awesome, as a Canadian, to see that piece of hardware in the sky up close.
Emma’s Two Moms thank you for your service.
I'm a Korean and when the Air Force tells me to make an advertisement, making a movie seems to be the characteristic of each country's Air Force's UA-cam channel.... FYI, the unit in the video is the CCT. I saw it once while serving as a soldier in the Air Force, and I remember being impressed by the unique aura even though I was still dressed in a Scarlet Beret and multi-cam.
You guys are definitely stepping up your game on the ads for special operations. I am joining to become a CCT sometime this summer!
I will say man if you plan on joining in the summer you need to talk to a recruiter beforehand you’ll have to go to ift events and development workouts until you are able to receive a contract and it can take some time
You won’t be a CCT for several years if you haven’t started the pipeline yet, check out the ones ready podcast for tips and info on the career field and good luck, don’t quit

Combat Controllers are awesome. They have air traffic controller license issued by the FAA.
Hi, 11B Army here.
We secured more airstrips and base compounds than these wannabe's. But i gotta give hard props to the advertisement team. Banger vid.
Yes this is what we want do more advertising like this
that was a very quiet un suppressed shot..
it’s an ad man what do you want them to live fire for an ad? 😂
We made fun of the Chair Force all the time. But these guys and especially Para Rescue are NO JOKE! Para Rescue will out swim any Navy Seal. Those guys got balls and my respect. Former Army 11B/18B.

air force special warfare might not be the most popular but i think its the coolest
CCT , let’s go boys!
This is how you do a recruiting advertisement!!
The military has returned to the right path.!!!
bro is so badass even his rifle is suppressed without an suppressor
You are inspiring army with modern equipment and technological advancements surpassing any in history. Nevertheless, I hope the US Air Force and US Army continue to remain at the forefront for a long time to come. 😊
Theyre so cool they make M4s sound suppressed
I enjoyed the part that says, to be ready isn’t enough!
Just looked this up. CCT are considered "Tier 1" operators for JSOC. Impressive.
I know they didn’t actually fire the shots in the video but if they are going to make it sound like it came from a suppressed weapon then make sure the weapon that is shown firing has a suppressor on it lol
The USAF be cooking.
The military has returned to the right path.
Who’s makes up the weapon sounds for the Air Force?
0:45 no suppressor on the M4, but the shots sound suppressed :]
AFSOC ads are getting better and better give the media team a promotion or medal or something
Impressive suppressor!
Air Force CCTs are freaking awesome. Would be great to try out for a career in Air Force Special Warfare.

Very good movie . the guy who Directed that movie did very good job
AirForce special warfare... one day.
When SEALs need air support, this is who typically gives them it!
They are better than the seals 24th sts ccts are tier 1 special operations while most of the seals are tier 2 except for team six. Cct was caught on drone footage saving team six after they abandoned him. He was awarded the medal of honor. The video is titled first medal of honor recorded.
Seals, DEVGRU, Green Berets, any special operation team calls on the CCT
the ad comparing to the "emma with 2 moms" is of course way better, but I could not cringe myself at the sound of suppressed shot fired by a NON suppressed barrel gun😂 I'm sorry
Quad NVG's would give a better field of view, especially with the glasses.
The gunshot was silenced on a gun without a suppressor.
In one scene the NVG's were worn the wrong way round.
Now this is how you make a military ad, goodjob airforce! Army, take notes. 📝
Please look up operational detachment Alpha--CCT’s and green berets work together as a team!!!!
No one said they don't, and that's the charm of being a AFSOC operator, but we r talking about that dogsh*t Army recruiting ad 1 or 2 yrs back@@christianeasley767
This is making me want to join CCT, hopefully i'll be able to enlist at 17.
Word of advice. If you have any doubts in your physical or mental ability to handle any form of special warfare AFSC's, please do not join until you are up to the standards. I see a lot of people join up thinking they can make it, wash out, and end up in a job they don't like, miserable, and hating the military over it. I am in NO way saying you cannot do it, but do not overstep and screw yourself out of the opportunity. It breeds a lot of resentment and negativity that I always hate seeing. I would highly recommend getting a little life experience and general maturity, as most SW guys start around mid 20's.
They are special ..... Their M4's are suppressed even without a suppressor!!
Oh my God, it’s Jason Bourne
They Gandalfs of the Special Forces

Would AFSOC be on the enlisted-route or the officer-route?

This is kinda misleading. CCTs do NOT deploy in teams with other CCTs, these guys are typically 1 man attachment and “force multipliers” augmented with other units such as the 75th Ranger Regiment, Delta, SEALs, and MARSOC Raiders. I have never heard of a team of CCTs deploying like this, if I am wrong correct me but I have always been under the impression that again they act as 1 man “force multipliers.”
Yes they do, CCT literally stands for “Combat Control Team.” Their core mission is to go before all others and bring the fight as far forward as possible for the other U.S. forces. The JTAC certification is not inherent to their skillset, but those that have it were an excellent asset during GWOT. The Global Access mission has been unilateral in nature since CCT’s inception.
You are wrong. It's accurate that a single CCT may be part of a larger force as the JTAC this is just one of hundreds of potential employment scenarios. You may have confused CCT with TACPs, who do function almost solely as a JTAC with units such as those you listed.
I read they have Special Tactics teams to take airfields, etc. PJs are force multipliers too, but are on Combat SAR teams! That’s what I read.
When did you deploy?
Awesome

If you get hurt im not saying you will but basic or after basic medical hold your job will be help the injured airman and air women. If your able to. If they see if your deem for the task they will have you watch the sudical people for their medical appointments. Could have help transfer people to another base Also. Not trying to have people run away. But to see if your up for that challenge.
How many times the U.S AIR FORCE had prepare the soldiers with the AVN LENTS to this advertisement.
Where are the suppressors at for those A2 flash hiders?
Do you also train against forces with more special training and night vision. In most training videos Opposition forces seem like they are on a recruit level. Wonder what happens if they encounter other special forces with night vision etc.

Is it true SR and CCT are getting Scuba taken out there pipeline I been hearing rumors.
It's likely to happen, because AFSOC sent a memo to the Air Force about removing Combat Dive from the pipelines of CCT's, SR's, and STO's. Keep in mind that PJ's and CRO's will not have Combat Dive removed from their pipelines.
Already confirmed. U will have to do scuba once u get to ur team however
@@kylumd8354 That's odd I wonder what the thinking behind that is.
@@medinaluv Not too hard to figure out. The directive came from the same Air Force General(James Slife) who caused a ruckus last year by pushing a separate directive to reduce standards to push women through the STO course. Its all DEI related. Combat dive is a very hard course that was keeping too many minorities from earning a beret. The reason they left it in the PJ course is because, like SEALs, its simply too integral to the job to cut.
@@kylumd8354 You wont have to. They'll just have dive teams.
