Hello Frank, Doug Farwig here. I'm a new subscriber and was wondering, do you have a video of your miter saw wings being built.....Would love to see that as I am making some changes around here. My old chop saw bench just becomes a catch all and is way to heavy when that happens. I'm planning on buying the Dewalt break down miter stand and I want wings for it. Your and the insider carpenter look the best. I have a 10" Makita battery chop saw and I am mostly interested in seeing how you went about attaching the wings to the saw. What you want to improve your audio quality is a wireless lapel mic. Sarmonic and Røde make decent ones. Seinheisser is the high end and overkill for most video makers. They will plug into your smartphone or camera. (Digital camera built in microphones are not going to be much better than the built in one on your iPhone.)

I have 1 question, do the 2 layers of tape change the depth enough to matter?

Yes, That’s actually why the depth of my cut was a hair off and I had to go a little deeper, I should’ve put a couple layers of tape on a piece of scrap are used to gauge the depth 👍🏽👊🏽

I live it dude, it’s not the fastest sanded but neither is the 125, it has crazy good run time and it can be ran corded as well 👌🏽
