She was gorgeous inside & out.such an intelligent, talented, charismatic lady.i feel many of the reporters didn't speak to her with the respect she gave to them.Chrissy & the band deserved much more credit & recognition than they received. A great interview, though, she could have been allowed to continue talking on the topics she seemed more passionate about rather than continually hammer her with questions & not letting her finish what she was already saying.
I've enjoyed this interview many times over the last couple of years and appreciate the channel owner's generosity in posting it. Within a few months after this interview Chrissy would be starting rehearsals for the musical ''Blood Brothers''....a powerful story about the tragic relationship between two brothers. Producer Wilton Morley had the vision to see within Chrissy the ability to deftly portray the complex character of Mrs. Johnstone. Her ensemble performance of ''Tell Me It's Not True'' is heartbreakingly beautiful and clearly demonstrates the depth and breadth of this woman's talent. Regarding her adventures in Spain, in her autobiography she speaks of ''the shadow of the right-wing Spanish dictator Francisco Franco (being) upon the landscape''. There is enough ambiguity to permit different shades of interpretation, but it's worth noting that Franco died Nov 1975 when Chrissy just turned 16. She may have been a little mysterious about her age, but after all, that is a lady's prerogative and Chrissy was a lady of fascinating mystique. jtk

In all fairness, like Stalin, the shadow over hung Spain for a long time.
