It would be awesome to see a comparison between these and the official Panasonic LUT, I haven't found anything similar and would love to see them side by side before pulling the trigger.
@@MatthewDangyou impressive follow up! I believe I saw the video of your process in Davinci - I'll have to check out the FCP one since that's my current editor. Thanks!
@@rivvidproductions thanks man! Yeah it is a pretty similar work flow to Davinci and the way I look at FCP color is the same way I look at it in Davinci too
@@MatthewDangyou Yeah just noticed that. I was wondering if we can use Lumix free available 30 LUTs for casual Instagram look using the same workflow as you mentioned. Thanks.
I do have a video talking about this but basically use these luts as viewing luts, and I personally like exposing a stop over exposed and bring the highlights slightly down in post
I do use the phantom luts at 100% but another pro tip is use the lut as a viewing lut to adjust some colors in camera too. You can always bring down the intensity level to your own liking too
Hi, great video! I have a question.. can Luts be used directly in the camera in the S5II? Or do I have to shoot via V-log first and then apply in post-processing? Thank you
@@MatthewDangyou Ok, thank you very much for the answer :) and regarding how the viewing luts is on an external monitor? I have an external FEELWORLD LUT6 monitor, will it work on it? And I just bought Luts with your code. Thank you :)
@@Ondra_Films awesome you won’t be disappointed! And yeah but I would personally just recommend use the monitor assist out directly from the camera instead of using the lut on the monitor
@@amid_invests I'm using the Canon m50 mark2, you should have bought the James miller CLOG3 CCG LOG, though u would have to learn how to expose very well using history, the lut works perfectly fine on James miller CLOG3 CCG LOG

@@MatthewDangyou I will look for these vids as I had the same question. Curious how you do the color trade after applying LUT. I’ll go find the work flow vids. Thanks!
These luts are as amazing as they are they just appear too filmic, they would look super nice if am making a short mayb but i guess would be unnecessary if I want to color grade a travel vlog for instant, I do 2nd the other guys on wanting to see how the workflow is with these on DaVinci or FC
When shooting in S-Log3 or C-Log with these LUTs in mind, would you recommend exposing 1-2 stops overexposed? Do these LUTs require a specific exposure setting to achieve the best result?
They ALL look terrible and why're color correcting it if it is pinnacle of so called "perfect look". By color correcting it you admit it's crap!!! Horrible look !!!!
That's a weird take. LUTs, presets and other form of pre-settings are always a good base for your editing. Almost never have I used a preset or LUT with one click. Of course you'll have to color correct some of the shots or images. Every scene is different.
It would be awesome to see a comparison between these and the official Panasonic LUT, I haven't found anything similar and would love to see them side by side before pulling the trigger.
Hi do you have a video of your workflow while using these luts?
And how different is the regular CST for pana v-log vs. using the phantom lut?
Yes I do, if you look up Davinci on my channel it should be. And Phantom luts (minus the natural) are more added look style luts
For the second set of luts do you still need a conversion lut first before using them ?
No these are the conversion lut with a look added to them already
Thank you very much! 🙏 Purchased with your code! 🤗 Amazing LUTs!!!🔥
Hey! A little late to comment. Do you think this will work on GH5 too? Thanks!
are you using an ND filter on your sun lit shots?
I would also love to see a workflow with these LUTs, since I shoot Panasonic and am trying to learn more about V-LOG and color correction!
Yeah I have been thinking about adding that to my list soon for a more in depth one using Davinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro
Don’t know if you saw but I did color grade workflow with these luts on both FCP and Davinci on my channel in two videos

On the channel if you look up Final Cut or Davinci 😏

Could you please let us know which LUT you used for this video while speaking into the camera?
For this specific video I used the Eastman RM, I have been using on my most recent videos my own classic teal and orange lut
@@MatthewDangyou Fantastic! Do you have your classic teal and orange LUT available to purchase?
I do! For VLOG specifically it is located at matthewdangyou.com/store/p/dangyou-vlog-luts It is a 7 luts in the lut pack@@destinlemarr6804
@@MatthewDangyou You are the best! Thank you so much. Please keep up the great work!
Didn’t know if I wanted to go for these luts or serr filmvision. I’ll probably do both eventually though lol
I’ve been loving these luts personally. But never used film vision before
The best lut ever
How do you expose for these luts?
I do have a video talking about this but basically use these luts as viewing luts, and I personally like exposing a stop over exposed and bring the highlights slightly down in post
G9m2 can use that S5 Lut? (I know it can be used, I mean it will be works on G9m2?)
It does! I also just recently developed my own luts on my website specifically for VLOG that I have been even using more at matthewdangyou.com/store
I noticed on their site that these Luts are for S5/1H and the S5ii .. would you recommend using if you are using the GH6?
Yep! I used them originally on my GH6 when I bought them myself
@Matthew Danyou cann you explain what the diffences are between the standard lut and the legacy ones, thanks in advance
I think they are a little more contrasty but I’m pretty sure it explains the real reason on the website
yes they are, the legacy luts have more contrast and colors are pushed more
thanks!@@MatthewDangyou
Do you use these LUTs at 100%? I ask because they seem super saturated if I use them at 100 (1.0 for Davinci)
I do use the phantom luts at 100% but another pro tip is use the lut as a viewing lut to adjust some colors in camera too. You can always bring down the intensity level to your own liking too
@@MatthewDangyou oh ok cool thanks 👍🏼
Do you need to convert to rec 709 before applying these luts?
Nope you just apply directly onto your clips
Hi, great video! I have a question.. can Luts be used directly in the camera in the S5II? Or do I have to shoot via V-log first and then apply in post-processing? Thank you
You can use a custom profile the apply the lut in camera.the way I do it is use it as a viewing lut only so it doesn’t effect my log clips

Hello thanks for the Video I have a canon M50 8 bit camera I managed to download CLOG on the camera instead of cenistyle wiil the luts work on it
Not 100% sure. The thing with 8 bit is you can’t stretch the color that much

@amid_invests you can always lower the intensity of the lut
