Man, you forgot to mention what lenses these cameras were with when you compared them... Without this information, this video makes no sense!

I keep hearing (like here) that MFT has, for example, f/2.8 light gathering with the depth of field of f/5.6, beneficial in some situations, like it's some magical inherent benefit to MFT. But full frame is also supposed to have better high* ISO performance, because of 4x as large sensor area. So couldn't one just bring the Full frame camera and lens up to 5.6, boost the ISO two stops, and achieve pretty much the same exact result? This whole "the light gathering is the same" that's repeated everywhere, *seems* like nonsense to me if noise, color, and DR performance is about two stops worse on MFT. It seems like the "benefit" would be cancelled out. I wonder about this, as someone who uses m43 cameras only. Any insights on this from real world experience? (I know theoretical and real world, are very different, and that even there theory is more complicated when dealing with so many variables as you find in camera sensors and lenses.)

Hi I have questions In Lumix G9ii Do any of this feature have any compromise or disable while recording video in any video formats like prores or high frame rates modes Waveform, zebra, histogram, spot metering, log view assist. In my camera 90D when I hit record button the histogram goes away and way to accurately get the exposure.

Any idea if the DJI Mic 2 can record internal 32 bit float on the Panasonic GH7? I can't seem to get ANY audio from the Mic 2 when plugged into the GH7. Ive tried Mic Input with power, without power and LINE in. None seem to work. is there a setting im missing? New to Panasonic!

It's absolutely not wrong to get free gear. When it starts to be wrong when you advertise them like, "YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS" etc when you did not pay for it and we small human beings working our asses off to get 1 lens then we cannot afford to buy 6 lens.

Good thing I saw this video! I was about to buy a used GH6, but I looked into the issue with streaking and found out that for many people it's a major problem (and it has often been returned or sold because of this issue). It's a shame, because otherwise it seemed like a really great deal!

If Lumix had fast lenses like the ZVe10 system it would be a killer. For $250 up can get a wide angle f1.2 or f1.4 lens. A fast zoom like the 17-70 at f2.8 is like $500. Lumix lenses are expensive. They are limited. I mean their f4 lenses are $700+. For $900 the Lumix is a better camera. But the ZVE10ii at the same price allows you to have a set-up for peanuts.

S9 more than replaced my aging GX9. And also together with affordable and light f4 Pana S zooms can compete with my GH7 and Pana-Leica f1.7 zooms. The only thing MFT form factor is clearly better at is ergonomic/quality/lightweight Pana-Leica long zooms.

If the S9 had a hotshoe, I'd be interested. And, it is expensive as are the lenses. So, I'll stay with my M4/3 G9, which is enough camera for me.

wondering if you might offer tech troubleshooting via FaceTime. I have Panasonic G7 and using a Boya shotgun mic and can't get the mic level to display in the viewfinder even with the setting to ON. Glad to pay you for your time.

I don’t think it is a Fuji killer. Fuji’s is building their film profile putting in in digital cameras with vintage style look and buttons like the X-T lines, X-Pro and X-E . It is a package of vintage look, feel and Fujifilm film look. No vintage look means no vintage feeling.

Interesting, I have the VM30, and it doesn't have a high cut. It would be nice to have because I think hiss produced by the mic itself is usually in the high frequencies. The VM30 has a high frequency boost, which is the opposite of a high cut. Are you sure what you were talking about isn't a high-frequency boost as opposed to a cut? A boost would be used to compensate for the muff, which is pretty thick here in the new version.

We need a GX9II / GX10 with PDAF.Gm5 II also a big wish from all mft fotografphers. The S9 stay basicly in the store due to missing EVF.For me is it also the case that i dont can use cameras without EVF.

Soo cool! But is there a way to shoot 4k Open Gate and not 6k? My sd cards aren´t as fast, I dont want to have massive file sizes and for me 4k is totally enough. So theres no setting to do that but maybe theres a workaround?

Hey this is to all that know a bit about the Davinchi Resolve and its CST input: I have the problem that I dont even know what Footage i have to put in correctly in the CST. And believe me i am not too lazy to google it or something. I really spend some time but i found out nothing. I have a Panasonic G9 and shot my footage in its colour Profile "Natural". All i could find about the G9 when it comes to colour grading is with V-Log and HLG Footage. But this is not what i was using. So what am i supposed to put in CST now ? Eveything i tried is a guess and it went wrong and looked awful. So does anyone know this or know where or how i could find out ? This would help me a lot because i cannot even start properly without this crucial information. Thanks a lot to you if you tell me :)

Panasonic has always been one of my favorite companies. That is the reason I bought the GH5. I have also been waiting for the S1HII for a long time because I believe it will be everything I need in one package. What is Lumix doing better than others today is still in body image stabilization, thing other companies don't have and Lumix has is Anamorphic shooting or Open gate shooting. Blackmagic just recently started doing this, Canon and Sony still no, which is unfortunately a deal breaker for me. In When it comes to image quality I believe having raw recording option is definitely great, if they could do internal would be awesome. Also there are no other cameras that can do 120 4K in open gate recording this is the one thing I would appreciate the most. Unfortunately seeing Lumix recent releases like the GH7 I see that they stopped being the leader in Innovations. For example my GH5 does 6K 30, so I was hoping two generations after the new GH7 would be able to do 6K 120. I hope this changes

Honda and Porsche does not have the same internals. Leica and Lumix has it.

Uncropped 4k60p means stacking the sensor, so this means that investment for Lumix in their sensor design which they don’t have.
